Once everyone is the house was dressed and ready, Lisa took them to the mall. She specifically told the girls to find something they could 'party' in. So here the girls were, in the dressing room of a small store.
As Lauren was changing into some flannel and Crystal was switching into some flashy clothes, Crystal told her blond friend the story of why Wyatt was wearing her clothes. Once she finished, Lauren laughed as she changed her shirt.
"You're just a whacky drunk, aren't you?" Lauren chuckled.
"It's not funny," Crystal told her. "I mean, what if he remembers?"
"Why is that such a bad thing?"
"Because if he remembers, he's going to remember I let him see me pretty much naked and how I wanted to do him."
Lauren chuckled. "Well, it looks like I got stuck with the better one."
"Gary didn't do anything?"
"Surprisingly not. Just had me lay with him," Lauren sighed at the memory before looking to Crystal. "You better hope to God you're not pregnant."
"Oh God, no!" she nearly screamed. Lauren finally chose an outfit and decided to change back into her normal clothes. "So what do you think Lisa meant by Party Outfits?"
"I don't know," Lauren answered as she exited her dressing area and waited outside of Crystal's. "Maybe to another bar...which you should not get drunk again if we are."
Crystal scoffed, pulling on a dress. "Hey, if someone hands me a drink, I'm gonna chug it down like there's no tomorrow."
"Okay, but when you start puking up your guts, I'm going to be there to say I told you so."
Crystal looked in the mirror, nodding to herself this was the outfit and began to take it off again. "And when Gary becomes your future boyfriend, I'm gonna be there to laugh my ass off."
"Yeah right."
Crystal came out of the dressing room with her dress. "It still surprises me that all he did was cuddle with you."
They approached the register. "He flirted with me earlier this morning, but it was just a joke."
"No matter. As my abuelita would like to say 'praise Jesus'," Crystal laughed, putting her dress on the counter along with Lauren's outfit.
"I think you should be saying that to yourself, sweetie," Lauren told her. "Fingers crossed, I'm going to be an Aunt."
"Shut up," Crystal remarked.
"Speaking of the boys, what do you think they're doing?" Lauren asked, handing her half of money to the woman.
"Probably scoping out who's the hottest girl here," Crystal answered, then handing her half. "It's so obvious it's us."
"I don't know about that," Lauren answered, grabbing her back and handing Crystal her's. "Thank you."
As they walked out of the store, Crystal sighed. "Oh, right. It's Lisa."
"What happen to Human Barbie?" Lauren asked, referring to Crystal's nickname for Lisa.
"That's before I realized she truly is perfect. God, she could burp and it'll be the best thing you'll ever hear." Lauren stopped in her place of walking looking ahead. "What?"
Crystal looked ahead to see Gary and Wyatt sniffing out fragrances, but what made Crystal pissed was that Sue Hargensen was working at that area. Crystal and Lauren despised Sue with a great amount considering she was one of the cheerleaders who picked on Gary and Wyatt also because they fought her for Lauren to be class president last year.
"Okay, let's go," Crystal began to tug on Lauren.
"Wait," Lauren told her best friend. "Let's see what she's going to do."
They walked closer so they could hear what Sue was about to say to their boys.
"You guys looking for something for your mom?" They heard Sue asked them.
Even that annoyed them.
"Okay, we gotta help them," Lauren said. "I get Gary, you get Wyatt."
Crystal nodded as they both walked over to there. They've done this plan before to get them out of trouble.
"I really don't think so...Sue," Gary answered.
Sue chuckled at them. "You guys have, uh...girlfriends?"
Crystal walked up next to Wyatt taking his arm. "Why yes, they do!" she said as Lauren wrapped an arm around Gary's middle.
"Why boys, it's so sweet that you guys were considering getting us some new perfumes," Lauren played off by picking up a perfume bottle and grimacing purposefully at the smell.
"Isn't it?" Crystal smiled before looking to Wyatt, her fingers trailing up to the collar of his shirt, pressing a kiss to his neck. "If that's what you were going to do..." She sent a wink to him. "Right, sweetie?"
Wyatt nodded slowly. "Yeah, that's exactly what we were going to do," Wyatt acted out.
Gary acted out of nervousness though and rambled. "Though one does not refer to this beautiful, young woman." Lauren blushed at his words. "...as a girlfriend. Uh, mistress, lover." He looked down. "Sexpot," he muttered, but Lauren heard him causing her jaw to drop and hit Gary in the chest.
Sue looked to the boys. "You guys are the ones that got beat up at the homecoming game, right?" Sue asked with a smile.
Crystal forced a smile, walking up closer to the counter. "Sue, right?" she stated. "The Sue that poured punch on her date at the prom because he cheated on you?" Sue's smile faded causing the boys to share surprised looks.
"I thought that was her," Lauren fake gasped.
Crystal hummed in response. "Thank you boys for getting us new perfumes, we appreciate it, right?" She looked to Lauren who nodded. "But we're okay for now." Crystal pecked Wyatt's cheek. "Love you." She pulled Wyatt away as did Lauren with Gary but not before Crystal looked to Sue. "Goodbye, Sue."
Once the four were away from Sue, Lauren whacked Gary in the arm. "Sexpot? Really?"
"I did not mean to say that," Gary replied.
"Liar."
"Thanks, guys," Wyatt told the girls.
"Of course," Crystal answered with a smile. You are our friends after all." Crystal's stomach unknowingly dropped at the word, she was confused about that. "Well, we'll see you two later. We have to meet up with Lisa," she said, letting go of Wyatt.
"Right," Lauren added. "See you."
"Wow," Crystal muttered once she was away from them.
"I know," Lauren replied.
At this point, the bet was long gone from each of their minds, busy in their own thoughts.
The girls met up with Lisa at a lingerie store. Lisa held up a one piece for Crystal. "Darling, what do you think of this?" she asked.
"That's what you're going to wear with the guys?" Crystal questioned, hating the feeling that gnawed at her stomach.
"No, it's for you," Lisa stated as if it was obvious.
"Uh, Lisa..." Crystal began as Lauren started laughing at the expression on her best friend's face. "Wyatt is my best friend. Nothing more."
Lisa rolled her eyes. "Crystal, you need to see that there is some major sexual tension between you two." Lisa looked to Lauren who was still laughing. "And it's clearly the same with you and Gary."
Lauren stopped laughing, ignoring the blush in her cheeks. "It's really not."
"Lauren's right," Crystal added. "There's nothing between any of us."
Lisa hummed. "You two would do anything for those boys, right?"
"Yes, but-"
"Then that's all there is..."
"As friends," the two girls said.
"Think what you want to think, girls." Lisa picked up another piece. "But I know chemistry when I sense it," she replied, going up to the register, still holding up the lingerie, showing it to the much older employee. "If you were a 15-year-old boy, would these turn you on?" The two girls snickered at the woman's expression. Lisa sent the girls a scowling look before saying, "I think so, too. I'll take them."
"It'd definitely turn on anyone if they see Lisa wearing that," Lauren whispered to Crystal.
"I would be," Crystal replied.
"Do you have a bra to match," Lisa asked the employee. "That... something leather, rubber, or barbed wire?"
Crystal's eyes widened as Lisa's last request, but the woman sighed. "Give me a break."
Once Lisa paid for her stuff, Lauren complained, "Can we go now and explain why we needed clothes we could 'party' in?"
"Of course, I'll explain that to you as well as Gary and Wyatt," Lisa stated.
"Good because as much as I love a surprise, it'd be nice to know what is happening," Crystal said.
"Before we go, I'm getting quite thirsty. Do you girls want anything?"
"I'm fine," Lauren answered. "Cryst?"
"I'm okay too. Thanks anyways, Lis," the brunette told her.
Once Lisa was gone, the girls approached the boys who were sitting nearby. They were going to say how they were leaving soon. That was until something bad happened...
The girls watched with horrified looks as a bright red slushie dropped on Gary and Wyatt's clean white clothes and the mall was filled with loud howls of laughs.
As the cup to the slushie landed near Crystal's shoes, splattering them slightly, she looked up and rolled her eyes with an annoyed groan to see who caused this.
Max and Ian.
"Sorry boys. Momentary loss of motor control," Ian yelled out. "I'll tell you one thing. There is a cure, rumor has it there's a big white sale going on..." Ian told the boys down below.
"At Towel World!" Max added with a laugh.
Crystal rolled her eyes. "I don't know how much longer I can handle them," she groaned.
Lauren sighed. "I'll clean the guys up at the car, you guide Lisa out of the mall," Lauren said, knowing Crystal will hate it if any of her old friends sees her helping out the boys.
Crystal nodded. "Sounds like a plan," she agreed walking in Lisa's direction.
Lauren walked towards the boys as she got closer she heard the laughter dying down. Once she was fully standing in front of them, she looked around at the people at the mall. "What are you all looking at?" she asked loudly. "Show's over, assholes." She looked down at the boys with a sweet smile, holding her hands out. "Come on."
Gary smiled at the girl in admiration as Wyatt took her hand without hesitation. "Thanks, Laur," he said.
"Of course."
"You're the best," Gary said, standing up with his hand still in hers.
"I know," she grinned playfully. "It's a good thing, Lisa has spare clothes in the car."
Meanwhile, Lisa threw away her empty cup as she saw Crystal approach. "Darling," she greeted, but noticed her favorite blond was missing. "Where's Lauren?"
"With the boys. Something awful just happened," she answered. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah."
The two of them left, walking to the escalator, going on the one that lead up. "So what happened?" Lisa asked.
"Two jerks were horrible to them. Embarrassed them badly. I'll explain the rest in the car," Crystal stated.
Just as they got on the escalator, Lisa and Crystal looked right next to them, feeling two pairs of eyes watching them. Crystal was met with Ian's in awe eyes as Max stared after Lisa. Feeling vengeful and flirty, she blew a kiss to Ian.
She looked ahead of her as they kept going up. Unknown that Ian was gaping after her as was Max after Lisa. Suddenly, they were both pushing through people to get up to follow after them. Ian finally climbed over to the ascending escalator as Max just pushed his way through the one he was already on.
"We got 'em, we got 'em," they chanted once they were upstairs again, following after them.
Lisa and Crystal finally made it outside of the mall, breathing in fresh air just as Max and Ian caught up to them.
"Crystal," Ian called.
Crystal raised her eyebrow at Lisa before they both turn to face the guys.
"Hey," Crystal boringly greeted.
"Hi. That's Ian," Max introduced to Lisa.
"This is Max. We call him Mad Max," Ian introduced with a chuckle.
Crystal hummed at the boys' state of being. "This is my friend, Lisa," she motioned to the woman beside her.
"We saw you two on the escalator," Max stated.
"You were looking at us, right?" Ian asked.
Crystal wanted to reply with a smart remark, but just nodded. "Yeah."
Ian's eyes trailed up Crystal's figure in desire. "So what are you doing?" Ian asked.
"Nothing. We're waiting for our ride," Lisa spoke up.
Just in that moment, a car came speeding up in front of them, stopping quickly. Gary got out of the driver's side."Lis, come on, girls. We're late," Gary called. "Honey, Lis," Gary called as his eyes set on Max and Ian.
Lisa leaned over, smacking a hand on Max's shoulder. "Speak to you later."
"Later, Ian," Crystal called, patting Ian's cheek before sending him a flirty wink before going in the back with Wyatt and Lauren. As soon as she got in, Wyatt was quick to pull the girl close to his chest as Ian's eye never left the girl.
Crystal watched Ian as Wyatt placed his hand visibly and intimately on her waist, sadly Lauren was watching Gary kiss Lisa in the front.
"By the way, there's a party tonight at Wyatt's house," Lisa told the guys near the car. "You can find his name in the students' directory under Donnelly. Pass the word around."
Wyatt pulled slightly away from Crystal as he questioned Lisa with one word. "Party?"
With that, the car sped off towards the Donnelly residents.
