A week, that's how much time she had got to see Shivaay or rather bare with him. It irked her to feel like this, like a part of her was being snatched away when she was around him. That was forbidden, to feel anything for him. Unwantedly he always tend to occupy her mind, it was nothing but a big distraction for her.

Drowning in his thoughts, she sat down on her bed, the newspaper in front if her wasn't helping her either when the front cover contained a big picture of his. Grabbing the newspaper  in her hand, she examined it thoroughly, he had his glasses on, the black suit he wore attracted her attention. Annika was startled by the car honk, getting up, she made her way towards the window.

There he stood;Shivaay Singh Oberoi, one of his hand on the top of the car while another one holding the phone. As soon as he had met her eyes, he stood straight, the phone now tugged inside. "Come outside, Tia needs you" Shivaay shouted, watching her close the window tge next second. The nerve she had. Annika straightened her kurti, brushing her hair once before rushing outside with her bag.

Meeting his intimidating blue eyes, she found herself lost in them one more time. No, she needed to stay away from him, as far as possible. Shivaay had his goggles resting on the tip of his nose, when Annika came in view, he turned around to get inside his car, fixing his goggles back on his eyes.

Sitting down in the passenger seat, she did not dare to look at the blue eyed beast sitting next to her. Shivaay started driving while Annika sat gazing outside. The atmosphere in the car was tense, Shivaay could feel the tension in the air, deciding to the turn the radio on to lighten the atmosphere.

Hearing the songs through the radio, Annika hummed along, a classic Bollywood song being played. On the other hand Shivaay whistled making Annika to look at him with wide eyes, amusement written all over her face. "I did not know you could whistle" She muttered under her breath.

"There are many things you are unaware about me. I could things beyond your imagination" Annika huffed at him, he and his ego always paved their way out, annoying her. Shivaay smirked, for the very first time, he had seen her keep quite rather than lashing out on him. But maybe seeing her silent twisted his heart in ways he could not imagine.

"Annika, I-"

"You should concentrate on driving, I don't want to distract you, not now, never" Words slipping out of her mouth, which made Shivaay stare at her for some seconds before tirninghis head back forward, he could not understand what she meant by that. But looking at her, Shibaay was sure she did not wanted to start a conversation with him.

Sitting there in prefect silence, he continued to drive, not even once he had tried to look at her, not wanting to make the situation more worse than it was right now. Annika knew she had hit the right nerves in his body when he did not speak a word to her.

After minutes, they reached the Oberoi Mansion, the big, large, white building appearing in front of her eyes. Some more days and she would never be able to see it daily, it pained her in an unknown way to think about it. Annika got down off the car, walking away from Shivaay who still sat in his car, watching her leave.

The doors of the Mansion opened as she walked inside, the warm air hitting her face the next second. It felt somewhat welcoming. As she took two steps inside, she was immediately greeted by Daksh, startling her. He took her into a bone crushing hug making Annika confused yet again.

Shivaay stood there, gazing at the two from a distance, it definitely annoyed him to watch two of them so close. Clearing his throat, he eyed the two if them, Daksh releasing her instantly. "If you don't mind, Tia needs her help" Shivaay pointed out, his eyes throwing draggers at Daksh, he couldn't help it even though Daksh was his best friend.

Annika looked back and forth be the two men's standing still, her eyebrows raising upwards. When she had opened her mouth to speak, she found her wrist being clutched by Shivaay who seemed to drag her away from Daksh. Rolling her eyes, she tried to free herself from his grip but in vain. He always seemed to do this, grab hold of her wrist.

They had walked down the doorway and to the last room in the end, standing there for some seconds before Shivaay opened the door. There sat Tia with a smile on her fave when her eyes landed on the two of them. Shivaay had released her wrist by now, letting her go free.

"Thank goddness you are here Annika. Come here and help me decide the theme for Sangeet" Annika's eyes followed to the empty seat next to Tia, taking a glance at Shivaay, she walked ahead, sitting down on the couch, next to Tia.

Shivaay calmed his breaths, even though he was trying his best not to act immature, he couldn't help but feel jealous. His mind was screaming to him to run far away from her but his heart, it was telling him a different thing all together, it wanted to sweep her off the ground and hold her close to him, run his fingers over her smooth, beautiful skin.

He glanced back at her once, with rage in his eyes, he turned around to leave, banging the door as the walked out. With long strides Shivaay walked with his head held high, the house was empty, all of them were probably busy with his wedding preparations and now that Daksh was around, Shivaay had no heart to talk to him.

The only perfect place where he could get complete silence was in the garden. Taking a seat down on the bench, he sighed out, a headache starting to crawl up. The tight hug Daksh gave Annika kept replaying in his head, he wanted to crush every bit of Daksh's bone, he knew it was so wrong to think like this, he was well aware of how wrong he was.

The engagement ring on his finger told him that he wasn't supposed to think about any other girl than Tia Kapoor, yet his mind kept wandering off to the images of Annika. Getting over her was going to be hard for him, he couldn't comprehend why was he so indulged in her thoughts, be it day or night.

Shivaay took his phone out, opening the gallery, he found one of their photo, together they had been standing in the kitchen, staring at each other with nothing but anger. Shivaay gently traced his finger over the screen, Rudra had taken their photo when he had come across the stop of them gazing at each other. Shaking his head, Shivaay deleted the picture, the first step towards forgetting Annika.

Shivaay felt getting married was only a better option to ease his brain of her thoughts, five more days and she would be next to no one in his life.

After a whole tiring day, Annika finally could breath out in relief, she had helped Tia a lot today, her muscles felt sore. Being a wedding planner had it's perks, she had tried several outfits for Tia and that only included her Sangeet clothes, the five more days were going to be hectic for her.

Moving down the stairs slowly with her bag clutched close to her, stretching out her legs in the process. Maybe fate really was playing games with her when her eyes landed on the person she had tried to avoid the whole day.

Her movements were slow, her tired body was to be blamed, Annika wanted to do nothing but run away from him right now. Tommorrow evening they would leave for the private island, the place where Shivaay would finally get married to Tia.

Annika refused to shed any tears, although her heart was breaking with each step she took away from him, it was for the best. Shivaay had been standing on his feet still, the phone in his hand ling forgetton. He desperately wanted to talk to her, yet he decided not to speak a word with her.

When she walked past him, her face was glued down making him want to turn her around and hold her chin up, the urge to make her look at him was growing each second. Fisting his hands into tight ball, he inhaled deeply, the ache in his head coming back with full force.

It was too late before he turned around to see her for one last time but Annika was long gone, away from him, away from his life and away from his heart, forever.
