The tears slowly dry out and my vision becomes clear. My eyes widen at the sight in front of me. Liam is there holding the guy's collars and punching him. The drunken guy is screaming in pain and a crowd is beginning to form. Wesley and Andrew also rush up. Wesley also starts beating up the guy who was about to...hurt me. I can't do anything but stand there. I am shaking and so Amy comes and hugs me. Even Emily comes out of nowhere and stands by me. Some other guys from the football team try to break the fight, but Liam and Andrew cannot seem to control themselves.

"Touch her again and you will never see day again" Liam barks before stomping out of the room. He literally stomps out but not before giving me a look I cannot decipher. Andrew rushes after him, while Amy rushes to Wesley.

"Do touch my best friend ever again! You son of a bitch!" Wesley spits. He walks over to me and envelopes me in a tight hug and I start crying again.

"I'll take you back home", he says in my ear.

"I don't wanna go home", I say barely in a whisper.

"You can sleep over at mine", Emily offers. I thank her and go to call my mom. I talk to her keeping my voice as steady as possible and luckily she doesn't ask any further questions neither detects anything is wrong.

Wesley drops Emily and me at Emily's house and then leaves. I can't help but wonder why Liam helped me. I am nothing but rude and sassy to him.

Emily takes me to her room and puts on FRIENDS on the TV. "You wanna talk about it?" she asks. I shake my head in response.

"Did it seem weird to you that Liam beat that guy up? And that he was so furious?", she asks.

"Obviously it did. That is what was unusual. And then before leaving he gave a very strange look" I reply, lost in thought. That look is like pasted in my head.

"I think he might like you", I scoff and start laughing at her theory. "Dude...I have seen the way he looks at you. I am serious." I stop laughing and look at her, completely serious.

"I don't think I am ready to like another guy. The last guy I likes was such a dick", I say. She looks at me for an explanation but I don't think I am ready for it tonight.

"Today has been a long night. Some other day. I promise." She agrees with me and we continue watching FRIENDS.

Mid-way my phone starts ringing and I see it is a group video call from Maya, Sarah and Jash. I pick it up and even from across the globe they can sense that something is wrong. I tell them about the entire incident of the party and they are left agitated. I know if they would have been here, the guy would have been dead.

"Promise me you will never go to a party again. Emily make sure she never goes to one again", Sarah says.

"I will kill her myself if she even thinks of going to one", Emily replies. I promise her myself I will never go to one.

"We have a surprise for you!", Jash says.

"My greatest surprise could be you guys coming her in San Diego" I say.

They just stare at me and each other through the screen. What??

"Oh My God, you guys are kidding me right?" I am on the verge of yelling.

"Yesss... for your first competition in USA, we cannot miss that!", Maya says.

"Wooohoooo...I love you guys so freaking much!", I practically yell.

"I have another life changing surprise for you but you will have to wait till I come there to know about it", Maya says.

"Please don't do this to me. I won't be able to sleep tonight! PLEASE!!" the call is disconnected before I can say anything else. Emily seems very excited about my friends coming here.

"I'll finally get to meet your friends about whom you can't stop talking."

I know I won't be able to sleep till Maya tells what her surprise is. My competition is in 8 days which means I'll get to see them in a week!! Gosh I am so excited. I play a random Bollywood song and start dancing. No English song could beat the Bollywood songs, they just have such an amazing vibe that you can't stop yourself from dancing. Emily just laughs and claps even though she doesn't understand a word. She can't control herself and she starts moving randomly to the beats and I agree with her, she can't dance. But you don't always need to know how to dance...you just need to feel the music and the steps will automatically come. You just dance to express yourself.

My night just got a hundred times better talking to my friends in India and dancing like no one was watching. As we were dancing, Emily says "you know right that I have a Youtube channel?" I hum in agreement.

"So I say you make me taste different Indian foods and I'll give my reviews. That's got to make an amazing video. Then later we can make even more videos about me doing different Indian stuff. What do you say?"

That idea actually is very good. I think of all the India food I could make her eat. My mum is gonna be very proud of me.

"That is interesting. Tell me when you wanna do this and I'll be ready." I actually owe a lot to her. She has been such an amazing and supportive friend since the first day I got here. She is going to start preparing from it immediately. I know her.

The day has been so tiring. I sleep the moment my head hits the pillow and go into a deep slumber. I have got a Chemistry test to prepare for from tomorrow.
