This is who i imagine as Amy

Since the day Andrew called us to sit at his table, we have been sitting there every day. I have become very close to these people in a span of 2 months. Today is the first football game of the season. I am so excited for it, it will be the first ever game I will go to see.

In India, we never had such games, just some interschool tournaments but other people were not allowed to watch those games. The atmosphere in totally different in school today. There is a different level of excitement in everyone. Even the teachers today are not in a mood to teach.

Even Wesley is playing in today's match, but he is excited and nervous for a totally different reason. He is about to do something he has only dreamt of for the past 2 years. I can't help but feel very happy for him.

I am sitting in class reading a passage when Liam pokes me in my shoulder from behind. I ignore him and he begins to continuously poke until I lose my patience and turn around irritated. "What?!" I snap.

"Well I have been wondering since the day I met you, you are not as tan as Indians are known to be", He remarks.

"Stop stereotyping Indians! And you surely need to be a little tan. Oh I also think you would look better with black hair instead of this blonde shade", I reply.

"Is there any particular reason why you hate me?" Liam asks, his mouth very close to my neck. So close that I can feel his breath.

"Well you are smart and answer almost every question I am about to answer. You also stop-"

"Wait so you don't like me because I am your competition? Then I guess we don't like each other for the same reason." He cuts me off.

"And you don't let me complete my sentences", I say reminding him that he just cut me off. Suddenly I see his eyes go wide and a smirk plays on his lips.

"Why don't we make a bet", he says.

"What bet?" I am very suspicious. There is a pregnant pause as if he is creating an effect for the reveal. I give him a drum roll without him even asking for it.

"Look. We have a chemistry test next week." I hum in agreement. "If you score more than me, I will not answer in classes for the next month. But, if I win...you have to spend an entire day with me. Basically we do things we hate." The thought of Liam not saying anything in class makes very happy so I say yes immediately. But then I realize my mom will never allow me to go on a date. Crap. How could I forget that, but now there is no backing down. The only option is to study like I have never done before.

I stand with Emily, Wesley and Jake. Wesley is literally sweating so badly. He is so restless that he is jumping on spot. Liam, Amy and Andrew come from the corridors and stand next to us. The guys are all in their jersey and are about to go on the field. Liam looks so good in that jersey and his eyes look so much more prominent without those glasses. I just can't take my eyes of his face.

My thoughts are disturbed when Wesley goes down on his knees in front of Amy. "Amy Young, I have been in love with you since the time we worked on a project together in 9th grade. I still am not sure if it is love but it surely is a very strong liking. I have been meaning to do this since a very long time but never had the courage. I hope you feel the same and we can try to form a relationship. So Amy Young will you be my girlfriend?" Wesley says. I know how much work Wesley has done on this. I kind of even helped him on this.

Amy has tears in her eyes. "Yes Wesley, I would love to be your girlfriend and see how we work out as more than friends. I never knew you were such a great guy until we started hanging out recently" Amy says.

The happiness on Wesley's face in the most precious thing. He stands up and hugs Amy tightly and turns around lifting her in the air. She squeals in happiness.

"Anderson, Clark, Prescott! On the field now!" coach Woods comes and yells. Liam gives Amy a weird look before rushing out with the boys. The look seemed weird but I ignore it. We move to the stand to watch the game, while Jake brings food. A match without food is nothing. By the end of the match my throat is sore by yelling so much. I can barely speak. Our team won 3-0, because as Liam said, the team was weak. Liam scored twice in the game. It was very interesting to watch

Amy was cheering loudly for Wesley which made me very happy. Wesley kept looking in our direction and Amy kept waving at him. She was supposed to be cheerleading but she was taking a rest for this match, because she has caught a cold.
"You are coming to the after party in an hour right?" Amy asks

"You'll get to see Jake's boyfriend", Emily pipes in.

"Now this has left me intrigued, I'll finally get to meet Jake's boyfriend", I hear Jake mutter something but I don't understand what. "But I don't think my mom will allow me to go to a party. Especially when she knows there is gonna be drinks and drugs."

"Leave that to us", Jake says and I actually leave it to them. Jake drives me home. He comes inside with me to talk to my mom. "Mrs Sharma.. uh... I mean auntie so there is a party to celebrate us winning the match in about an hour. You don't mind right if Nyra comes?"

I can see the hesitation on my mom's face. "Will there be drinking or drugs or even smoking?" my mom asks. I knew she would ask this.

"There might be but we'll keep her away from such stuff. I swear and everyone is gonna be there." Jake tries convincing.

"Ok, but promise me no illegal stuff" she says and Jake promises. I can't believe my mom allowed. She can be very strict , but I guess that is only for when she wants.

I enter the bungalow wearing jeans and a crop top. The party has just started but I feel it is already going wild. On the porch a group of people are smoking, while in one corner a couple is wildly kissing each others faces off. I had only heard about high school parties but I never knew I would actually attend one. Emily leads me inside and takes to me where Jake and he boyfriend are standing. He introduces us to his boyfriend. His name is Cole. He seems pretty cool and is Jake's neighbour.

Jake leaves to get everyone drinks, I ask only for coke. I can see Liam , Amy and Andrew coming in. Wesley walks over to Amy and kisses her. Jake gets me Dr Pepper instead of coke. Amy and Wesley leave mid-way to dance or should I say grind. All around me I can see people drinking, grinding or kissing. Emily went off with some random guy I don't know where and I don't want to know. I just feel alone and very left out in this scene.

Andrew invited me to play beer pong but I rejected it because this is just not my scene. I go off looking for the bathroom asking random people. I reach the second floor to see a girl just puking on the floor. Find a bathroom girl. I feel nauseated looking at that. As I walk, a drunk guy bumps into me. I remember seeing him on the team.

Just as I am about to apologise, he forces his lips on mine. I try pushing him away but I can't. People are just stronger when drunk. He slides his hands up into my crop top. I try backing up so that his lips come off mine. I start screaming immediately. A few party-goers look in the direction but don't try to stop him. Tears fill my eyes. His hands are now grabbing my boobs with by back pressed to the wall. My kicking and screaming is not helping at all.

I don't know what happens next but suddenly the hands which were moving down are not there anymore. I hear a scream which seems to come from the guy who was about to rape me. The tears stop me from seeing anything but I can only see a blurred figure beating him.
