I heard someone banging hard on the door, tried to open my eyes but I felt my body burning. Though the shower is still on and the water pouring on me from the last night.

I placed my head on my knees, trying to forget last night. Ugh!! My legs still felt weak but I grab myself and open the door. One of his bodyguards standing there fully dressed.

"Mam, we need to leave in an hour". He said in a thick voice.

I nodded and he left immediately.

The room where I check-in is changed as my clothes are covered in every corner. It took me half an hour to collect my stuff.

I saw my reflection in the mirror and am looking no better than trash.

It was just a kiss and you fucking ruined it.

And Face it.!!
My subconscious gave me the courage and without wasting more seconds I dressed up.

We haven't exchanged a word but the game start from the time, we check out from the hotel. He is busy on his calls one by one until we reached in front of the same lavishing jet. Though, I caught him sneak glances at me. What an arrogant person? He should say sorry. It's not a big word to say. How I'm expecting this from him? After all, he is the Boss.

Why the fuck he is going to say sorry? My subconscious slapped me.

I bit my lower lip. Do I have to say sorry for the slapping thing? I take a deep breath. Okay! Let him start the conversation first then I'll apologize.

I didn't follow the dress code today, wearing a sleeveless black frock dress slightly up from my knees. This time Mr.Devil sitting right in front of me. Don't know why, there are so many other vacant seats. He sips his coffee slowly, examining me. And I give him a death glare this time. If he is going to stare at me like this. I don't know it's embarrassing. 

Instead of starting a conversation, he is checking me out from time to time.
Okay!! That's a bit too much.

I raised my brow to question him. What is it?
But he smirked, instead of using any word. My nostrils flared with anger. I rolled my arms on my chest and we bore into each other eyes. God knows for how many hours. His one flick landed on his forehead, which make him look hotter.

I noted one thing, that he licks his lips a lot, maybe a habit. But damn!! It makes my heart twirl.

*Time skip*

"Hey Sophia, You miss me?". I smirked.

"Of course, I do, you idiot". She pulled me in her arms. squeezing my body so hard in her embrace.  I thought she is the soft one.

"I didn't saw you in the morning" she raised her brows while sipping her coffee.

"You were busy with something and I was getting late to hand over some files. you know". She sighed. I know right!!

"How's the Greece"? She asked excitingly. I don't want to ruin her excitement so I just tell her some good things.

"It was good, there's a big lavishing hotel room and the view is so mesmerizing. I can't even define it in words".She smiled genuinely.

"Oh really! I prayed for you, you know that boss is not being a bitch towards you" She whispered and giggled.

"Damn girl"!! I laughed so hard."You don't need to pray because God can't help him" I winked.

She laughed but a little low as other colleagues are looking at us.

Sophia waved at someone, I turned and Jade was coming from the entrance with a pile of sheets in his hand. He gave me a death stare like I did something wrong. oh no!! Did the boss tell him that I slapped him? Damn it!! Sophia is too busy admiring her so I vanish my anxious face to a smily one. Where Jade Lead towards the elevator just waving at Olivia.

"You know there's something wrong with Ashton. He took leave for 20 days. And I was worried so I called but it's not reachable". His mood turned into concern.

"Seriously. We should check him first. Do you know where he lives"?

"Yeah, I look into it. But it's of no use"
She sighed and her head moved down.

"Why"? I narrowed my brows. What's going on with him.

"I asked jade to look but he said he never came back to his house after taking leave from office"

"Hope he is doing fine".
She takes a deep breath.

"What the heck!!"
I turned, I saw him coming towards us with several officers. My eyes went wide, I rubbed them furiously. If I'm hallucinating!!

"What's the matter. Why police are here"? Sophia confirms that am not dreaming.

They are coming. They are coming for me!!
I feel as my body dipped into ice water, my legs were paralyzed, so was my tongue. It's like I saw the devil himself took me to the hell gates. Boss is not the only devil in my life. There is one more: ferocious and ruthless.

" Fuck!!"

Jade

"Check this out" I place the sheets on his desk. It's some pictures of Olivia's family and Alfred's injury and of course the information I got last night.

His intense gaze giving me a warning. "Ugh he is already obsessed with Olivia"

I fold my arms on my chest waiting for his reaction.

"So"?He raised his eyebrows. Seriously 'so' is his reaction.

"Fucking christ, Daxton"
I called his name in private and don't want to be boss all around.

"This doesn't prove anything".He smashes the sheets on the desk.

"Get back to your senses Damn it. This information straight pointing towards that they might attack Alfred and run away" Anger rushed through my veins, even I felt the blood rushing to my head.

"Might Jadon, Might". He hollered back. He called me Jadon when he is angry and going to bash my face with his hard as an iron fist. I know am his bodyguard but he still beat me in the ring.

"You have changed. You are being reckless day by day". What the fuck is wrong with him. Olivia is messing with his brain.

"Why don't you focus on our ex-secretary Evelyn rather than Olivia. I think you are the one who is being distracted" He takes out his cigarette and ignores my comments.

I felt again the phone rang in my pocket. God knows who the fucking calling me so many times. I'm going to kill him if the matter is Zero profit.

I pulled out my phone, Sophia's bright
face blinking on my screen.

"What is it, Sophia"? I hollered.

"Why the fuck, you are not picking up?" Her voice is cracked. what is it, her deep breaths from the other side panicked me?

"What happened? This time I asked calmly where Daxton is looking at me with questioning eyes.

"Olivia!! She is arrested"She started crying.

"Okay!! Calm down! Calm down!
Don't worry I'll look into it". I slid the phone back into my pocket. Daxton raised his brows.

I take a deep breath. "Olivia is arrested"He pushed the chair violently which fell on the floor.

"What the fuck, Jade" He picks his phone and rushed outside whilst I followed him.

People are looking at him. "Calm down Boss". He gave me that death glare. So, I just backed out. When we pass Sophia, I didn't have time to console her as Daxton is going to lose his mind, so I nodded to her instead.
