After that incident, he started acting weird. Maybe we can say normal.
I even heard rumors about me that am a bad bitch and lure Mr.Devil, and still some blindly trust Max that he was the righteous one. I ignored everything and focus more on myself. The month was passed, and we even got a new house in the city area far from the alley.

On the other hand, Mr.Devil is too indulge in work that we even barely have a conversation after that day. Even he gave me a stack of files every time I finished the work that he gave me. Most of the time he was out of the city for some urgent meetings. I heard that most of the secretaries attend all the meetings with their boss and travel the world during meetings. And here I am sitting in this tiny room with a bunch of files around me. I ran my hands in my hair in frustration and ruined them. There's a knock on the door, without even second thought I said 'yes' immediately. Ran fingers to remove the knots in the hair.

I saw Mr.Devil wearing his thousand-dollar suit leaning on the door with a smile played on his lips. My jaw dropped but I instantly get back to my consciousness. It's been so long. I haven't admired him.

I straighten my dress. Fuck!! my shirt buttons are open.

I unbutton them an hour ago when this air conditioner stopped working. It's just my bra which is visible a little. Now I assume the reason behind that smile. I shake my head to broke the chain of thoughts.

"Go-od afternoon boss. How may I help you?" I was startled twice to complete this sentence. It's been a week when I saw him last time. His hair is sexy. Messy sexy. He takes few steps towards me while I was still standing behind the desk. looking for the answers. He sat at the table.

"Have you been to Greece?"His sparkling blue eyes boring into mine.

"Umm. No. I have never been to any place instead of -"

"Instead of ?"He raised his brows like a pro.

"States". I immediately replied while my mouth went dry and his eyes are examining me so closely that my legs felt like jelly.

"Okay. Good to know. Pack your bags. We are leaving today at sharp 9. This is Jade's number". He placed a slip on the desk.

" He will pick you from your house. Now, you can go home".

Before he escapes from this room I asked him."For how many days?"

He showed up his three fingers and left without uttering a word.

3 days? .Shit! How am going to leave my mother in this freaking city?

Jade is already standing outside our new apartment. It's furnished and has two bedrooms and a balcony with a beautiful view. And even security is quite good at this place. It's quite costly but I managed to persuade the owner to pay him in installments.
I asked Jade to look after my mother for 3 days. Even I told him that am going to pay him for this my whole salary of the month for 3 days of work. After half an hour of persuasion, he finally agreed. It was such relief that at least Jade is here in this city and he seems trustworthy. He just has to look after my mother from time to time from a distance unnoticed.

Even I asked mom to be more attentive. she was so happy that am going to Greece whether it's for a meeting but still. She was happy for me.

We went to the airport. I was expecting business class tickets on a normal airplane. But instead, there's a private jet waiting for us. Mr.devil leaning on Aston Martin looking at his watch back and forth with an annoying expression. I head outside with my bag, jade holds the bag from my hand and disappears somewhere where I was wearing casual clothes blue jeans, and a white top. He is still in his expensive suit with not so messy hair but set them quite nicely.

It's quite spacious. Way more spacious and I try to control my excitement bit my lower lip so hard that I get to taste of blood. Traveling in a freaking private jet. It's like a dream of many. Though I never dreamt of that. My desires are quite less than am getting these days. Some bodyguards are already in jet sitting on one side while theres' four seats parallel to each other on both sides. I sat on the right one while I look for Mr.Devil who is already pinning his eyes on me. I gulp down the saliva. He is seating on the opposite side and now we are on alternate sides. Diagonally looking at each other like we are playing some staring game.

Mr.Devil is interrupted by a woman who is wearing a red plane skirt and white shirt. She is way more beautiful to be a Plane attendant. Her hair was wrapped in a messy bun. She offered a glass of some expensive whisky to him and he gulps down one. What the heck!!
He just throws the drink in his body didn't even enjoy it. Woah!!
Mr.Devil is an alcoholic!!

He raised his brow towards me and asked the attendant to give him a bottle. The attendant moves towards me. But he stopped her.

"No, Don't even try to ask her about drinks". The attendant nodded and move backward. My nostrils flared in anger. What does he think of himself?
An asshole my inner self replied.

I lie my head on the back of the seat and thinking about my mother. I'm worried about her. But she assured me that she takes care of herself. But I'm still afraid of him. He didn't show up yet after I saw him in the market.

Jade

"Olivia is quite friendly and generous", Sophia defended her. I don't think that am going to get any relevant information from her. But I felt something suspicious about the way she asked me to look after her mother. I'm going to talk to Daxton after his meeting. Meanwhile, I have to stay here to run some errands that he gave me. Most important to look after his ex-secretary. I need to do some background checks on Olivia. Before Boss indulges in her mess too much. I grab my clothes which are lying on the floor with Sophia's while she is still whining that we spend only a few hours in a week.

"Later Sophia".I kissed her on the forehead and grab my phone from the side table.

"Hello Dave, I have work for you. I'm sending you a profile. Look after her immediately about her past and also check if there was any criminal record on her name. I want to know every freaking thing. You have 2 days".

He said 'yes Boss' and I slid my phone into the pocket. David Martínez is one of my men who work indirectly for Millers. He is quite good at hacking and looks at people's data in a blink of an eye. Boss ex-secretary, she is quite smart to hide behind our rivals. It makes things difficult but once we get to know she was helping our opponent. we are going to retaliate until then we have to wait for the right time and look for the Revan's. Where looking at Olivia's profile is a cakewalk for him.

Meanwhile, I have to deal with a Raven guy. It's easy to bribe people. People are so vulnerable in front of bundles of dollars that they give up their pride too. They should at least be loyal to their group.

I asked my men to check the whole alley area. This might be a trap, so I asked my two best snipers to take their positions on the roof of godowns. We can't afford any casualties.

"Alpha, All clear"?.I asked one of my sniper guys.

"No sir, there's one guy in black clothes coming toward you. Be careful".

I ordered my other people to be active. A man came into my vision wearing a black leather jacket. Probably a rookie in Ravens.

He is acting weird. Scratching hands and neck furiously. When he comes closer, his eyes are puffy. Fucking addict!!

"Doesn't Raven's have a policy against addicts"? I slide the gun back in the holster. He is not even in his senses, I don't think so I need to use much energy on him.

"They are going to ki-ll me if they knew. I need to run away from them".He stutters a lot in between. Drugs in his veins are going to kill him soon. And Raven's is going to hunt him when they knew that he sells information. Poor guy.

"Okay. I don't have time. Tell me who hired shin and others to attack Millers". I don't have much time to waste. I need to keep an eye on Olivia's mother too.

He was standing silently. I pulled the pistol out and point it straight between his eyes.
" Speak".

"I don't know the name of an actual person. But I overheard something 'Audaz'.My boss also didn't meet him. Transactions were through illegal means. So there's no way to find the real culprit". Looking at this low wretched man. He knows nothing more than this. Drake throws the bag full of dollars in front of him. He instantly opens the bag and rushes to his car.

Fucking 'Audaz'!!

It's probably a code name sir. Paul interrupted my thoughts.
"Paul, keep a check on this guy. Let me know if you felt anything suspicious " I called out my favorite guy in the group. He is an ex-army man, now serving for Millers. Though we act like bodyguards, we did a hell of a lot of work instead of being bodyguards. That's a fucking secret of getting contracts easily without any conflict because we have other ways to deal with people.

"Yes Sir" Paul replied and head towards his mission.
I clap my hands and got attention from my other guys. "Everybody get back to your work".

Olivia's mother seems normal. There's nothing to worry about. So I asked my other guy to keep an eye. I have my date night with my sweet Sophia. It's quite difficult to keep things from her. All the time she was asking about my work and I always felt guilty to kept everything secret from her. But she is too good to be true and against her innocence am just a devil in disguise.
