“So you haven’t spoken to him since the weekend, it doesn’t mean that he has forgotten about you” Paige rolled her eyes as she snuggled into my bed and I really regretted giving her a key at times as I had been in my own thoughts when she burst into my bedroom and joined me.

I was happy she had decided to pick me up before the show so I didn’t have to enter alone, “He hasn’t contacted me at all and he has a phone”

“But does he even have your number?”

“If he wanted it he would have it” I shook my head as he loved sending his manager on errands so I was sure he would have found a way to get it. 

“Maybe he just wants to wait until he sees you in person. You are just so used to overthinking things, you silly girl” She stood up and pulled on my hands so I could get up. “Get into that shower and then speak to your brother okay?”

“I don’t even know where he is”

“He is currently down the street getting us some lunch and will be here shortly”

“You really need to try to be less obvious with trying to get us to mend things”

“I can't have my two favourite siblings fighting, now can I?” She narrowed her eyes playfully while I made my way to the shower not wanting to argue.

I walked out of my room and saw Seth laid out on my couch in sweats while Paige grabbed some plates from my kitchen cabinets.

“So you chose to grace me with your presence today?” 

He smiled as soon as he saw me, “I have missed my little sister obviously”

He hopped up and pulled me into a hug and I smiled as I had missed him as well. “I thought you didn’t need me anymore”

He chuckled as he let me go, “I will always need you. Look, I am so fucking sorry for what I did. I was just under a lot of pressure, you have to understand that, but luckily Mark has taken that weight off of me and Brock is his problem. So do you forgive your big bro for being an ass?”

I rolled my eyes but hugged him, “You are always an ass but yes I do”

“Good! Now lets eat before I drive us over to the gym, feels good to be back…”

“I am so glad you idiots sorted things out” Paige rolled her eyes as she joined us in the mini cafeteria they had set up for us backstage.

“I know, Kenz is such a pain in the ass!” Seth groaned and I slapped his arm.

“Oh I am getting all the blame now when I was shoved into the corner” I raised my eyebrow and he pulled me into a sidehug.

We had been sitting in the cafeteria for about an hour just joking around and it felt good because it felt like forever since we had just enjoyed eachother’s company and he wasn’t driven by his ambition.

I had zoned out of the conversation as we had received an email from our boss so we were all reading over it when I felt Paige elbow me. I frowned until I followed her eyes to see Brock making his way down the hallway with his manager following closely behind.

I was about to look away but it was too late as his blue eyes immediately focused on me, I was surprised as a smile filled his face as he seemed to approach us.

My brother was still focused on his phone while I was sure Brock probably hadn’t noticed my brother’s presence cause his eyes hadn’t left mine since he spotted me. I could tell that Paul was becoming annoyed as he trailed behind him while Brock simply offered Paige a nod before he leaned down next to me.

“Hey, I need to tell you something” He whispered into my ear before he crouched down next to me.

“What?” I questioned while he glanced at Paul and gave him a look that led to him walking a few feet away.

“You still sound upset.”

“Wow, you actually noticed this time. Usually you ignore it but I guess that’s only because you can't fuck me now”

He chuckled and allowed his hand to slowly massage my thigh beneath the table as I was wearing a shorts. “Are you trying to provoke me, baby?”

By the way he was looking at me I knew he wasn’t angered but instead aroused by my attitude which didn’t surprise me as I felt myself heating up due to his touch but I wouldn’t admit it. 

“No, believe it or not. Your dick isn’t all I think about” I whispered while he smiled and briefly kissed my cheek before he stood up.

“I wouldn’t lie to myself if I were you” He took my hand in his and I tried to hide the smile that wanted to surface due to the playful look in blue eyes. “Come on,  I need to talk to you.”

I was about to stand up but saw my brother glance up with a frown and his eyes fell to our hands before he spoke, “Why the hell do you want to talk to my sister?”

I could tell Brock was caught offguard by him but he quickly responded, “Its none of your business. Come on, Kenz”

I stood up and followed him but heard my brother following, “What the hell is going on here, sis?”

“You don’t need to answer him, Kenz! He treats you like shit now he wants to act all protective when…”

“Shit, you are fucking him aren’t you? No wonder you were so fucking concerned about me sending my guys after him that night, telling me to stop with my games” Brock briefly glanced at me and I felt several eyes on me along with his. “Oh, you didn’t know that if it wasn’t for her you probably wouldn’t have been able to walk right now!”

“Seth…” I sighed as I had just sorted things out with my brother and didn’t need to mess it up again and I could feel Brock’s body tensing as his hand tightened around mine the more Seth spoke.

“Sis, don’t fucking waste your time with him. He is just fucking you to provoke me and…”

“What the fuck did you just say?” Brock let go of my hand and moved towards my brother.

“Brock, please…” I pulled on his arm and he stared down at me and slowly moved back, that was until my brother decided to open his mouth again.

“Wow, fuck her a couple times and she can order the beast around. Damn, if I had known it was that easy I would have pawned her…”

Brock gently pushed me back and before I could stop him he lunged at my brother and punched him before getting him to the ground. Seth brought his knee up and managed to kick Brock which resulted in him landing against my legs.

“You think you can fuck my little sister just to get back at me huh?” Seth spat as he moved towards us and Brock tripped him with his leg before punching him again.

“Brock! He’s my brother please!” I knew Seth shouldn’t have broadcasted it to the world but I also knew the damage Brock could cause from watching him in the ring.

I saw Vic appear as well as a few other guys and they pulled them apart while Kelly stared between them, reasonably upset, because they had broken quite a few tables while fighting.

“What the hell is going on here?” She questioned while I roughly wiped the tears that had fallen due to the two men I cared about most hurting eachother because of me. 

“Who started this, I want to know now!”
                                         
“My husband asked a question… Mckenzie, do you know who threw the first punch?”

“What?” I croaked out as everyone was now staring at me including my brother and Brock, who were both bleeding.

“Sis, just tell them the truth..” Seth smiled as he wiped the blood from his lip and I knew why he said it because technically Brock had been the one to strike first.

I briefly glanced at Brock who looked at me expectantly but I immediately looked away cause I couldn’t do what he wanted me to. I needed to protect my brother regardless of his explosive moments because he had always protected me while Brock was used to the punishment by now since he had a brawl almost every week.

I glanced down at my fingers before reluctantly speaking, “Brock punched him first”

“You have got to be fucking kidding me right now” Brock angrily chuckled as I could feel his glare on me.

“Alright then, come on Brock.” I heard Kelly as they followed behind him.

“Thanks, sister. I am glad you decided to”

“Fuck off!” I pushed past him while Paige followed next to me.
