Doctor: Rahul.. tum chalo main tumhe medicine bata deti hoon. Aur tab tak aap log Athiya se mil sakte hai usse hosh aa gaya hai. But please make sure she does not exert herself.

All nodded in yes and Doctor and Rahul went from there. Dadi went inside.

Virat: Are these two mad??

Rohit: Vi not here please..

Anu: Vi calm down..

Ritz: Waise kuchh galat nahi bola Vi ne. Lekin tum dono bhi sahi ho. I guess we should go inside. Tia ko dekh lete hai

This made everyone started thinking.

All four agreed on that and went inside. Dadi sat on the stool and caressed Athiya's hair. She opened her eyes slowly. She saw everyone except the person she wanted to see.

Rahul was with doctor sitting on the chair and continuously tapping his foot being nervous. The doctor smiled at his antics.

Doctor: Firstly Relax Rahul. Athiya and baby both are fine. But she needs proper rest and care. Maine medicine prescribe kar di hai yeh time se de Dena and she will be all good. Aur haan kal ya parso sonography ke liye aa jana. Aaj machine me thodi problem hai warna Aaj hi karwa lete

Rahul smiled widely hearing this.

He took the prescription and purchased the medicines first and then he was going towards Athiya's ward when the doctor again met him.

Doctor: Tum abhi tak yahi ho?

Rahul: Woh medicine lene gaya tha

Doctor: Are woh kisi se keh ke mangwa lete ya jate time le lete. Generally to husband ruk nahi pata apni wife ko milne se aur tum ho ki usko itna wait karwa rahe ho

Rahul looked here and there clearing his throat.

Doctor: Achchha ab chalo mil lo usko. Main bhi wapas se check karne hi ja rahi thi

Rahul nodded in yes and followed the doctor. They came inside Athiya's ward and found all were looking quite tensed.

Dadi: Doctor achchha hua aap aa gaye

Anu: Doctor.. Tia sahi se hosh me nahi reh pa rahi hai. She is continuously passing out every now and then. Is everything alright??

Hearing this Rahul kept the medicine on the table and sat beside Athiya on the bed and hold her hand in his getting quite scared.

Doctor: Let me check

The doctor checked her.

Doctor: Ghabrane ki koi baat nahi hai. Weakness ki wajah se she is not able to stay awake properly.

Doctor attached a glucose drip to her.

Doctor: Aap log chahe to Ghar ja sakte hai. Rahul ruk jayega yaha

Rahul: Haan dadi main hoon. Aap log Ghar jao

Dadi came to him and kissed on his forehead.

Dadi: Congratulations bachcha

Rahul: Thank you Dadi

He said it while quite blushing. RohIka and Virushka noticed it.

Ritz: Congratulations Rah.. so happy for you and Tia

Anu: Congratulations Kiddo..

Rahul: Thanks bhabhis

Rahul looked at RohiRat. Rohit put his hand around Virat's shoulder and squeezed it.

Rohit: Congratulations Rah..

Virat: Congratulations Rah..

Virat: Hum log chalte hai. Tia ka dhyan rakhna.

Rahul nodded in yes with a wide smile on his face. Virat smiled seeing him smiling. He came to him and ruffled his hair which made his smile wider. Rest all went to home and Rahul stayed back at the hospital.

Rahul was caressing Athiya's hair. After a while, Athiya was feeling better and She felt someone was caressing her hair. She leaned to the touch more. Rahul saw her and a small smile came on his face without him realising it.

The doctor came and Athiya slowly opened her eyes at the sound of door opening. The doctor smiled at her.

Doctor: How are you feeling Athiya?

She asked while checking her.

Athiya: Better.

She then remembered none from the family was there as she has still not seen Rahul even though she was still liking the caress on her hair. She got quite hyper.

Athiya: Sab.. sab kaha gaye doctor?

Doctor: Ghar gaye hai. Yaha pe zyada log nahi reh sakte na. Waise jab husband sath me hai phir baki sab ko kyu yad kar rahi ho?

Athiya frowned but then her attention shifted to the caress she was feeling and looked at its side only to find Rahul sitting beside her. He smiled at her to which she smiled back.

The doctor was surprised at this couple as she could clearly see the attachment and awkwardness between them at the same time. She sighed and then removed the drip as the glucose bottle was over now. Athiya winced slightly as the drip got removed.

Rahul: Doctor Sambhalke..

Doctor looked at Rahul with raised eyebrows to which he looked here and there.

Doctor: Athiya apna dhyan rakhna. Time to time khaya Piya Karo okay. As of now ghabrane ki koi baat nahi hai. Normal medication will be enough for you and baby. Aur kal ya parso sonography ke liye aa jana.

Athiya nodded in yes.

Rahul: Doctor.. Tia ko ghar le jau ab?

Doctor nodded in yes.

Rahul: Main Tia ke sath reception pe discharge formalities complete kar loon to chalega na?

Doctor: Virat has already completed discharge formalities while leaving. You guys can go.

Rahul: Thanks

Doctor left. Rahul looked at Athiya who was looking down.

Rahul: You okay?

Athiya nodded in yes.

Rahul: Ghar chale?

Athiya nodded in yes.

Rahul got up and helped her in getting up. He held her one hand and put his other hand around her shoulder. Athiya looked at him who was busy in cautiously taking her towards their car. She looked down while smiling and quite blushing.

Rahul helped her in sitting in the car and he too sat and started going towards home. Athiya observed that Rahul was driving in slower speed and a bit more cautiously. She smiled at his protective antics.

Athiya (in mind): Dekha baby.. apke Papa abhi se itne protective ho gaye hai. And you know A Protective Rahul is always a Treat to Watch.

Helsinki, Finland, 2019

Athiya and Rahul were on their honeymoon in Helsinki as Cricket is not that much famous there. And they can get privacy like a normal couple there.

Athiya was looking gorgeous with all pinkish face due to chilling atmosphere. As they came out from the car, Rahul saw many people be it Hotel staff or some other tourists residents of hotel were checking her out. And Athiya was busy in gazing at the view totally oblivious to the checking out session going on. Rahul pulled her towards himself taking her in a side hug glaring others which made others to focus back on their respective works. And our poor Athiya was just looking at him with shocked expression gulping down getting scared seeing her husband's blank face. They checked in to the hotel and as they freshen up, Athiya thought to have a small beauty nap but Rahul was having other plans.

Rahul: Athiya.. would you mind agar hum hotel shift kar de? I am not having good feeling about this hotel.

Athiya: Kya hua? Achchhi hotel to hai. Tabiyat theek nahi hai kya apki?

Rahul: I am fine. But can we please?

Athiya: Theek hai

Rahul quickly took their luggage himself and hold her hand and almost dragged her to reception and he checked out from there.

Ritz, Anu both saw it and looked at Virat who was lost in his thoughts. If it was a normal thing, by now they would have been seeing another RohiRat chase but nothing of that sort was happening.

The man left. Now RohIka and Virushka were together.

Virat: I am thinking the same. Rah was looking happy. I want to observe for few days.

Anu: And please tab tak shant rehna Vi. Tia is seriously not well. You saw na kitni weak hai

Ritz: Even though Doctor ne to bola it's ok lekin.. frankly mujhe weakness thodi zyada lagi. Age Jake complications na ho

She said it looking towards Virat specifically who nodded in agreement and they all got busy in their respective works.

RahIya reached home. Rahul helped her coming out and again hold her by her shoulder with one hand and held her other hand in his and took her. All saw them and smiled seeing the way Rahul was taking care of Athiya.

Dadi: Wahi ruko darwaze pe. Sabse pehle Nazar utarni hai.

She did it and then herself took Athiya inside. Rahul was still standing at the door.

Ritz: Rah.. andar aao

No response. He was lost in his own thoughts.

Virat went to him and put his hand on his shoulder.

Virat: Rah..

Rahul looked at him. He blinked his eyes rapidly.

Rahul: Ji..

He again blinked his eyes.

Virat: You okay Rah?

Rahul hugged him tightly hiding his face in the hug and Virat hold him protectively as usual.

Rahul: I am so happy Vi Bhai.. I am so happy. I.. I can't describe what I am feeling right now. I am.. am just.. just so happy

Virat smiled hearing this and was rubbing his back. Rest all too smiled hearing this. Athiya hid her face in Dadi's neck. She too was shedding happy tears. All got emotional seeing the couple so overwhelmed. Virat himself has started shrugging off his negative thoughts and fears seeing RahIya shedding happy tears with the news. He was relieved that they were ready and happy.

Dadi was the first one who composed herself. She caressed Athiya's hair.

Dadi: Bas bas.. chalo ab. Kya sab emotional ho rahe ho? Are yeh to Khushi ki baat hai na.. aise aansu bahana bandh Karo chalo..

Rohit (while wiping his tears): Khushi ke hi aansu hai Dadi..

Dadi: Haan to bhi. Chalo chalo.. sambhalo sab khud ko

All composed themselves. Dadi cupped Athiya's face.

Dadi: Koi stress mat lena okay. Dadi Zinda hai abhi. Sab sambhal legi

Ritz: Haan aur unki do assistants bhi to hai.. Main aur Anu..

Dadi: Exactly.. aur kam main sambhal lungi. Tum araam karo beta. Doctor ne bhi bola hai ki weakness hai. Shuru ke mahino me bahut dhyan rakhna padta hai.

Anu: Achchha Athiya room me Jana hai ya hall me baithna hai?

Athiya: Bhabhi woh.. room me..

Dadi: Kya hua beta? Thakan lag rahi hai?

Athiya nodded in yes. Dadi, Ritz and Anu took her to her room. Athiya was surprised to see the changes in the room. The room was decorated with so many balloons. There were cute pictures of little babies hanging on the wall. There was a frame of Baal Gopal too. She smiled seeing them. The ladies made Athiya sat on the bed with support of headboard and were giving her advices based on their own experiences. Athiya was listening to them keenly and was reacting to their talks.

RoHulRat led by Rahul who have followed the ladies stopped at the door. Rahul was happy to see the changes made in the room. A serene smile came on his face. He then looked at Athiya who was busy in talking with ladies. He found her too cute. He stood at the door leaning to the wall crossing his arms and was admiring his wife.

Virat was doing something in his phone when Rohit nudged him. He looked at him to which Rohit signed him to look at Rahul. Virat frowned and looked at Rahul only to find him staring at his own wife. He snapped his fingers in front of him to bring him back from his dreamland.

Virat: Oh Bhai.. kidhar??

Rahul looked here and there in embarrassment to which RohiRat chuckled. They went inside and settled here and there.

The servants brought food there only.

Anu: Tia.. chalo batao kya khana hai?

Athiya: Bhukh nahi hai bhabhi..

Dadi: Are aise kaise beta.. thoda to khana padega na

Ritz: Tia.. try this Franky.. maine banayi hai

Athiya ate a little and then put it down.

Athiya: Bas..

Rohit: Tia.. vadapav Khao. You will love it.

Athiya ate it half but then she put it down too.

Anu: Tia.. yeh try karo.. kheer.. tumhari favourite hai na

Athiya: Nahi bhabhi please ajeeb si smell aa rahi hai usme

Anu quickly put the bowl at a distance.

Dadi: Beta.. kuchh to khana padega na. Dawayi kaise logi phir? Aur phir dawayi nahi logi to weakness kaise jayegi

Rahul: Tia.. dadi sahi keh rahi hai

Athiya: Mujse nahi khaya ja raha

Athiya said it while getting tears in her eyes. All got worried for her.

Dadi: Are Tia beta kya hua?

Athiya: Sab force kar rahe hai khana khane ko. Rah bhi.. unko samajna chahiye na mujhe nahi khana

Tears fell from her eyes while she made a cute pout. Rahul was looking at her with what was even that expression

Rahul: Are lekin maine..

Athiya: Dadi dekha.. phir se chilla rahe hai..

Rahul: Are main kab chillaya

Athiya: Dadi...

She started sobbing. Dadi took her in a hug.

Dadi: Are nahi bachcha rote nahi. Main daanti hoon na Rah ko. Rah.. ab se tum kabhi nahi chillaoge. Tia ko bilkul pareshan nahi karoge samje. Bas na Tia??

Athiya nodded in yes and stuck her tongue at Rahul who was looking at her with what the hell expression.

Rahul was about to say something but Anu kept her hand on his mouth and spoke in low voice.

Anu: Chup raho. Mood swings ho rahe hai. Abhi shanti se kam lo uske sath.

Ritz: Haan aur dekho ab kaise Dadi ke hath se Aloo Paratha chav se kha rahi hain

Rohit: At least she is eating something yaar

Virat: Rah.. make sure she has her meds on time.

Rahul who was till now sulking as he has to hear scolding even though a fake one gulped down hearing Virat's quite strict tone and nodded in yes.

All left except Rahul once Athiya slept. Rahul sat beside her and caressed her hair. He slept there in sitting position only while resting his head on the headboard.

Anu nudged Virat who was clearly looking frustrated. She signed him towards Athiya. He looked at her and found her looking down. He cursed under his breath for spoiling her mood and went from there.

Ritz: Achchha Aap log baatein kijiye. We understand beti ke sath baat karni hogi apko

Ritz, Anu, Dadi, Rohit started leaving. Rahul too got up to go but Athiya stopped him.

Athiya: Aap kidhar ja rahe ho?

Rahul saw Mana wanted to talk to her daughter.

Rahul: Bas abhi Pani pike aaya okay

Athiya nodded in yes. Rahul and other Raichands left.

Sunil: Beta Rahul aur baki sab khush hai na?

Athiya nodded in yes. She smiled remembering how they all were taking care of her and were putting efforts to make her eat.

Mana: Honge hi na. Hamari bachchi ne khush khabri jo di hai.

Ahan: Mom yaar.. kya budhdho ki language me baat kar rahe ho. Anyways Di you take care and call me anytime if needed okay

Athiya smiled and nodded in yes. Ahan and Sunil both went from there leaving Mother - Daughter duo alone.

Mana: Tia.. Sab theek hai na? Doctor ne kya bola?

Athiya: Weakness hai. Lekin Ghabrane ki koi baat nahi hai

Mana: Are aise kaise weakness hai. Theek se Khao pio. Man machalta rahega lekin khana to padega na. Ek kam karo yeh fruits Khao chalo

Athiya: Nahi Mumma.. man nahi hai

Mana: Achchha theek hai Ek Apple kha lo

She started cutting them and made her have it. Athiya was not feeling good eating it.

Mana: Waise achchha kiya jo tumne meri baat man li.

Athiya stiffened hearing this. But before Mana could say more, Rest all came there as Shettys were leaving as Sunil was having some work. They left after asking Athiya to take care of baby.

Athiya looked at Rahul.

Athiya: Pani pine me kafi der lag gayi.

Rahul: Tia main to bas..

He said this much when Athiya ran to washroom feeling pukish. She threw up almost everything she had. Anu and Ritz ran after her. Anu was rubbing her back.

Ritz: Bas.. bas.. ho gaya.

Ritz cleaned Athiya's face and they took her out from the washroom.

Dadi: Tia.. beta Aram karo. Koi baat nahi Aisa hota rehta hai. Ghabrao mat

Athiya nodded in yes.

Rohit: Hum log chalte hai.

He signed Rahul to look after Athiya and he nodded in yes. Once they all left, Rahul sat on the bed.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya: Mujhe neend aa rahi hai

Saying so she lied down on the bed turning other side.

Rahul: I am sorry Tia..

Tears fell from Athiya's eyes. Rahul started caressing her hair. Athiya closed her eyes and slept in a while feeling exhausted with everything going around her. Rahul saw her sleeping and covered her properly. He again started caressing her hair.

Rahul: Mujhe Jana hi nahi chahiye tha tumhe akela chhod ke. I am sorry Tia.

Athiya turned to his side in sleep and hugged him. Rahul smiled a little at her cute antics.

Rahul: I'll always be with you and our Baby Tia. I Promise..
