On the next day, Rahul was pestering RohiRat with all his might.. He was everywhere going behind them. He has even hid their car keys and mobiles of almost everyone except one who was angry bird right now and RohiRat were now literally getting irritated.

Rohit: Rah.. kya hai yaar? Woh rakh na

Virat: Shanti rakh na aisa bola

Rahul: Are shanti gayi bhad me..

Athiya who has just come downstairs heard only what Rahul said.

Athiya: Ek minute.. Who Shanti??

Rahul looked at her shocked.

Rohit: Are Tia tum shanti ko nahi janti? Are apni Shanti...

Athiya: Who Shanti??

Rahul: Kya yaar bhaiya.. Are koi nahi hai Tia..

Rohit chuckled and Athiya understood that it was just a joke.

Athiya: Ro bhaiya.. apko koi aur nahi mila kya subah subah?

Rohit: Yeh baat na apne Pati se bolo.

Athiya: Matlab?

Virat: Subah se hum dono ke.. in fact hum sab ke phones and car keys chhupa ke baitha hai

Athiya: Lekin kyu?

Anu: Isko idea chahiye. Tumhe manane ke liye

Athiya glared at Rahul who gulped down visibly. But then Athiya smiled at him.

Athiya: Rah.. ek minute idhar aana aap

Rahul looked at others who encouraged him to go.

Athiya: Are yaha dining table ke paas aane ko bol rahi hoon. Aao to.

Rahul went there

Athiya: Bethiye..

Rahul sat on the chair. Athiya poured water in a glass.

Athiya: Pani..

Rahul took it and drank it. Athiya made another glass and forwarded it to him. Rahul drank it

Athiya was about to make another one but Rahul stopped her.

Rahul: Bas.. ab aur nahi chahiye

Athiya: Are aise kaise? Abhi to apko yeh pura ka pura jug finish karna hai

Rahul's eyes became wider.

Rahul: Are itna Pani koi kaise pi sakta hai?

Athiya: Are aapne hi to kal Piya tha. Tab hi to PANI PINE ME TIME LAG GAYA NA

Rahul closed his eyes tightly at his mistake.

Rahul: Tia sorry na..

Athiya: Ab yaha baith ke na aap pio Pani.. main chali huh..

Athiya went to her room.

Virat: Kuchh to hua hain. Warna Tia itni upset nahi hoti..

Rahul: Main dekhta..

Virat cut him.

Virat: Tumhe kyu dekhna hai? Tumhe kya? Tum Pani pio huh..

Virat went from there.

Rahul: Are yaar yeh Tia kam thi kya jo Vi Bhai bhi ajeeb sa behave kar rahe hai

Ritz: Achchha ab tum yeh sab chhodo.. jao aur Tia ko manao go..

Rahul went to his room and found Athiya was playing with girls.

Rahul: Hello Princesses..

Vami squealed seeing her Rah Cha but one look from Sammy and Athiya and she kept mum.

Rahul: Hey Vami.. come her kiddo..

Vami was about to go towards him when Athiya made her sit in her lap.

Athiya: Sammy.. hume yaha koi disturb kyu kar raha?

Rahul: Vami.. kiddo koi disturb nahi kar raha.. baat karne ki koshish kar raha hai

Athiya: Sammy hume kisi se baat nahi karni right

Sammy herself was melting seeing her Rah chachu but was trying to not get into husband and wife's silly arguments as she has hands on experience with it when she has once tried to lighten up the arguments between her parents and ended up getting herself scolded. So since then she concluded that couple's arguments are silly and she was out of this couple arguments drama.

Rahul: Vami.. Your Rah Cha is sorry na.. sachchi wala sorry.. Apki Rah chi ko bolo na maaf kar de..

Vami looked at Athiya with her puppy eyes.

Vami: Rah Cha.. Rah Chi..

Athiya: Sammy.. hume..

Sammy: Ek minute.. Aap dono mujhe aur Vami ko jane do. Khud apna masla solve Karo. Come Vami..

She held her hand and took her from there.

Rahul sat on the bed and hold Athiya's hand.

Rahul: I am sorry.

Athiya took her hand back.

Rahul: Kya hua hai Tia? Aisa pehli baar to nahi hua hai na ki maine tumhe akela chhoda tha Mumma ke sath. Unko tumse baat karni thi. And even I felt tum unse khul ke baat kar paogi specially pregnancy ko leke. Main rahunga to awkward ho jayega na tumhare liye.

Athiya smiled sarcastically when Tears fell from her eyes.

Athiya: Haan pehli baar nahi chhoda tha. Last time jab chhoda tha tab kya hua tha yeh bhul gaye aap?

Rahul's heart skipped a beat hearing this.

Athiya: You know what Mr Rahul Raichand.. I got that. You just wanted a baby hai na? Main to bas ek.. ek.. zari..

Rahul (shouted): Tia...

Athiya flinched hearing it. Ritz, Anu and Rohit looked at each other. Virat who was in his room came out running.

Virat: Rah ki awaaz thi na?

All nodded.

Rohit: Gusse wali lagi

They all ran upstairs and stood at door. Rahul was glaring at Athiya who was crying. Rahul threw the pillow in anger and went from there totally ignoring the others.

Anu and Ritz ran to Athiya. Ritz took her in the hug. RohiRat went to check on Rahul.

Ritz: Bas Tia.. rote nahi bachcha.

Anu: Yeh lo Pani pio chalo

They both coaxed her to drink some water.

Ritz: Chalo thodi der rest karo. Phir lunch karna hai

Athiya: Mujhe kuchh nahi khana

Anu: Achchha abhi rest karo thodi der please

They made her have a small nap. Ritz and Anu brought her food in the room only.

Ritz: Tia.. kiddo thoda sa khana kha lo phir so Jana wapas.. utho chalo..

Athiya woke up and looked here and there.

Athiya: Rah..

Anu: Tia.. chalo khana kha lo

Athiya: Mujhe bhukh nahi hai bhabhi..

Ritz: Tia.. apne liye na sahi baby ke liye thoda sa kha lo hmm..

Ritz forwarded a morsel and Athiya had it. She ate a little bit and took her medicines.

Athiya: Rah kidhar hai?

Anu: Woh bahar Gaya hai. Abhi tum rest karo. Doctor ne bola hai na Aram ki sakht zarurat hai tumhe. Chalo sleep for a while.

They made Athiya lie down on the bed.

Ritz: Close your eyes Tia..

Athiya closed her eyes and at the same time Rahul came but stood at the door. He could see the dried tear marks on Athiya's face. Anu saw Rahul at the door who was busy in looking at Athiya. She signed Ritz who too noticed Rahul was just looking at Athiya. But at the same time his red eyes were telling a whole different story to them. They both came to him and talked to him in low voice.

Ritz: So gayi hai

Rahul nodded in yes.

Anu: Tum chalo. Khana laga deti hoon

Rahul: Aap log kha lo bhabhi. Mujhe bhukh nahi hai

Saying so he went from there without giving them a chance to stop him. Rahul was going outside when his path got blocked by his brothers.

Rahul: Main kam se bahar ja raha hoon. Aur apke phone aur car keys aapke room me rakh di hai

RohiRat rolled their eyes. They hold Rahul from each side and took him to the dining table.

Rahul: Mujhe bhukh nahi hai

Rohit: Skipping meals are not allowed in this house. So you better follow this rule.

Virat: Rah.. thoda sa kha lo okay

Rahul: Mujhe bhukh nahi hai

Sammy: Rah Chachu.. apko bhi bhukh nahi hai.. yeeee.. see mumma.. mujhe, Vami aur Rah Chachu teeno ko bhukh nahi hai. Ab hum nahi khayenge

She said while happily clapping.

Rahul: Tum logo ne kyu nahi khaya abhi tak? It's late

Virat: Tumhe aur Tia ko udaas dekh ke inki bhukh mar gayi hai

Rahul: Bhabhi meri plate..

Ritz quickly served food and gave him his plate.

Rahul: Ab main kha raha hoon. Tum dono bhi Khao chalo

Sammy made a pout but nodded in yes.

Sammy: Mujhe bhi khana dedo aur kya..

Rahul had some food quickly and went from there. Rest all sighed.

Rohit: Thanks Baba..

Sammy: Anytime Dada..

Virat: Isse bach ke rehna padega. Yeh dramebaazi sikhi kaha se?

Sammy: Kya chachu.. apne hi to sikhayi thi

Virat: Badmash..

Virat tickled her and all Shared a laugh.

It was evening when Dadi came home and found unusual silence in the house.

Dadi: Tum sab ghar pe ho phir bhi itni Shanti kaise hai Ghar me?

Sammy: Woh Chachu aur Chachi..

Virat: Mera aur Nushkie ka jhagda ho gaya tha.

Rohit: Aur inko sambhalne me main aur Ritz argue kar bethe

Dadi: Yahi hua tha Sammy?

Sammy looked at RohiRat who nodded in yes and she too nodded in yes while crossing her fingers behind her back.

Dadi went from there to get freshen up.

Athiya woke up and was surprised to see a big Teddy Bear beside her. She got up and found another Teddy Bear on the chair.. another one at the sitting beside window.. in short entire room was having Teddy bears of all sizes. She smiled widely seeing them. She took the one which was beside her and her eyes widened seeing Rahul at the other side looking at her with smile on his face. She looked at him with open mouth.

Rahul sat on the bed and hold his ears showing his cute puppy face.

Rahul: Sorry..

Athiya shook her head.

Athiya: I am sorry Rah. Mujhe aapse aise baat nahi karni chahiye thi.

Tears again fell from her eyes. She knew her words have hurted him. Rahul wiped her tears and took her in a side hug. She hid her face and cried.

Rahul: Mumma ne aisa kya bola Tia?

Athiya stiffened and hold Rahul tightly. Her gesture was enough for Rahul to understand what might have been said. He held her closer.

Rahul: Shhh... Bas.. I am here only. Calm down..

Rahul made her have some water.

Rahul: Achchha batao kaisa laga surprise?

Athiya: Bahut Pyaara.. I love it

She said it while smiling widely.

Rahul: Aise hi hasti raha karo. Haste hue bahut pyaari lagti ho

Athiya hearing this blushed profusely making Rahul chuckled.

Rahul: Mujhe to yeh samaj nahi aata  jab bhi aisa bolta hoon tum Sharma kyu jati ho? Aise to gundi banke ghumti ho

Athiya smacked him lightly and hid her face again in his embrace.

Rahul: Are ab batao bhi..

He cupped her face and made her look at him. Their eyes met and Rahul realised why she blushed every time.

Rahul looked at other side clearing his throat but the blushy smile on his own face was visible.

Athiya: Thank you for the surprise Rah. Mujhe sach me bahut pyaara laga

Rahul cupped her face.

Rahul: Pyaara to hai lekin tumse zyada nahi

They both again looked at each other getting lost in each other's eyes. Rahul leaned towards her making her hold him tighter in the anticipation of what's coming next. They could feel each other's breath with their lips inches apart from the others. They were about to kiss when......

Okay so as one of my old friend wanted an update in this book quite eagerly.. so here it is..

Thoda funny and thoda serious though seriousness was quite heavy.
