Y/N's POV--
I was walking to school when I saw Laurance. He looked so cute. Am I falling for him? I shook it off and walked up the stairs to the school. I looked around. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. I looked around at all of the frowns on people's faces. Then I saw Aphmau walking towards me. I turned around and quickly ran inside. I looked down all the long halls. People were talking and some were at their lockers. I walked to class.
~Time skip to lunch!~
I walked into the lunchroom. All the tables were taken. "Y/N!! Over here!" Aph called. I rolled my eyes. It was the only table left so I'll have to deal. I sat next to Laurance. Aph and Maya sat across from me. Then, "hey sis!" Iyanne called. I looked her way. She was about to trip when I caught her just in time. "Rule number 1 of High School, never trip and embarrass yourself." I said helping her to our table. She sat next to me. "So, Maya did yo-" Iyanne started but I cut her off by putting my hand over her mouth. I looked at her. "Do you really wanna go there Iya?" I asked. She shook her head. "No." She said. I took my hand off her mouth. "So, Y/N-" Laurance started but Iyanne cut him off. "Grrrr." She growled. I looked at her. "I'm older than you, do you really wanna start a fight?" I asked. "No." She said and started eating her lunch. "Y/N can I-" Aph started. "Iyanne." I said. Iyanne put down her fork. "Mmmmhmm!" She said with food in her mouth. She held up a finger for us to wait a minute. She swallowed her food. Then she stood up. "You better watch yo back 'cause I might break it!" Iyanne said. I facepalmed. "We need to work on your trash talk." I said. She sat back down. "I agree." She said. We all talked and laughed until..."so, anyone excited for summer? No school no teachers!! No bullies!!" Aph said. The table went completely silent. I'm surprised Iyanne didn't say that. "..." I didn't say anything. Then Maya spoke up. "I haven't been able to find Abby yet..." she said sadly. No one wanted to say anything that could hurt Maya's feelings so we just sat there. Iyanne was about to speak when I put my hand over her mouth. She got the message. I took my hand off her mouth. Some people started to leave the table. I got up and threw my trash away. Then I grabbed my bag and headed to my next class.
~After class!~
I walked out of class. Two more classes then it's summer. I walked to music class. I walked in and saw Laurance playing the guitar. He didn't see me because he kept playing. I sat down and listened to the tune. He started humming the song. I knew the song. I sang a little of it.

Putting my defenses up
Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If I ever did that
I think I'd have a heart attack

He noticed I was sitting there. He smiled. "Sing the song." He said. I smiled and walked over to him. I sat next to him. He started playing. I started to sing.

Never put my love out on the line
Never said yes to the right guy
Never had trouble getting what I want
But when it comes to you, I'm never good enough
When I don't care
I can play 'em like a ken doll
Won't wash my hair
Then make 'em bounce like a basketball

Paint my nails wear high heels

I stopped and so did he. "Your voice is beautiful." He said. "Thanks." I said. He looked into my eyes. Then he leaned in and kissed me. When we pulled away he asked me something. "Would you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I smiled. "Yes. Secretly I actually liked you since Middle School but you liked someone else." I said. "Actually I liked you in middle school." He said. "Well, I'm still glad we're together now." I said and smiled. Then I layed my head on his shoulder. Our future will be awesome!
~after school!~
I walked down the long hall to the entrance of the school. I stopped for a minute and looked behind me. I looked at the long hall. I'll miss this. Then I kept walking towards the entrance. When I got to the entrance I put my hand on the doorknob and turned around. "I'll miss this place." I mumbled and walked out the door to the start of summer.
