The two of us sat down on a fallen log that had overgrown green moss on it. Jin looked so serious, it was making me nervous.

"Cora, there's something I've been wanting to say to you, but I haven't had a chance." Jin said as his voice seemed a bit shaky.

"Yes oppa," I asked in anticipation.

"Cora I love you..." Jin's words made me lose the ability to breathe.

Is this real did he really say that?

I could barely contain the butterflies in my belly.

"I-I love you too!" I stuttered , the words coming out surprisingly easy.

Jin glanced at me lovingly, leaning in closer and kissing me passionately. He caressed my cheek with his soft hand and I ran my fingers through his silky black hair. Jin finally stood up, he looked like he's concentrating hard about something, as he knits his eyebrows. He took a deep breath and then to my astonishment he got down on one knee.

I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands.

Was he really doing this now?

Jin pulled out a small velvety black box out of his sweatpants pocket, opening it to reveal the most beautiful pink diamond I had ever seen! My eyes grew wide at the sight of it, I was tempted to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. I felt my eyes start to water and without thinking I nodded my head unable to speak. He glanced up at me and when he noticed me nodding, his face lit up. With the biggest smile, he jumped up and hugged me, kissing me passionately again. His warm lips pressed against mine and he tilted his head to kiss me deeper letting our tongues meet.

"What's going on over here?" Sue's nasally voice came from behind some tall bushes.

What the hell?

Great way to ruin the best moment of my life! Was she really out here spying on us again after everything she had done!

"None of your business!" I spat out at her, furious she was meddling in our business again.

"You little bitch! When will you learn your place?" Sue snarled, her eyes narrowing at me with utter contempt.

"When will you learn yours?"  I snapped back, so done with her.

"How dare you talk to me like that? I'm going to have to teach you to respect me!" Sue came at me aggressively, grabbing my hair and slapping me in the face. Bewildered, I tried to pry her off, but she got a strong hold of my hair.

"Stop!" Jin shouted, trying to pull us apart. Sue roughly shoved him away and started pulling my hair again with one hand and swinging her other hand at me. I hit her back, grabbing her hair too and yanking it to make her stop. Jin got up quickly and rushed over to pull us apart again. I struggled with her as she kept wailing on me. She was a lot stronger than I thought, I tried to dodge her so she wouldn't hit me again. Finally, Jin stepped in between us and Sue pushed him again with even more force. Jin fell to our right and then my heart sank when I saw that we had somehow moved closer to the cliff during our struggle.

I saw it all in slow motion, Jin my beautiful Jin, was rolling down the steep hill, until he finally landed with a loud thump. The realization of what happened hit Sue, she looked mortified and screamed as she ran down after Jin.

Taehyung and Jungkook had heard us screaming and were sprinting over to us, but it was too late.

We all followed Sue and I pushed her away from Jin. Jungkook placed her in a wrestling move when she got up again, holding her down with her hands behind her back.

"Get off me! My father will hear about this! You should be attacking her not me!" Sue screeched glaring at me with a wild menacing look in her eyes.

I ignored Sue and checked on Jin. He was unconscious as I held his head in my hands. His hair was wet and had started bleeding. The strong smell of copper filled my nostrils as I saw the dark red blood dripping from his open skull. I froze as I stared in horror, making me grow weak and dizzy. Suddenly everything faded, all the shouting from Taehyung and Jungkook went silent and I only saw darkness completely overtake me.

I fluttered my eyes open in the hospital room with an IV attached to my arm and my whole foot and ankle bandaged. I blinked confused as my eye sight slowly cleared, I looked around for someone to explain to me what happened. Getting up I hobbled over to the door grimacing with pain as I scanned my surroundings. I didn't see anyone.

What happened? Why am I here?

Then I suddenly remembered the blood, blood everywhere! It was a bad dream it had to be, that whole thing was just a nightmare! I looked for my phone, but couldn't find it.

As I began panicking, my mother finally walked in my room. I was relieved to see her.

"Oh honey you're finally awake." My mother rushed over to give me a hug. I hugged her back and looked up at her to ask her what happened.

"Cora, Jin is in the hospital too." She said sullenly.

My heart dropped, it wasn't a dream, he really fell. I got up to find his hospital room.

"Young lady get back in here." My mother yelled at me before I could step out of the room.

"He's not in this hospital. They took him to the best hospital in the area to work on his head injury. You're injured too, you need to recover before you go see him!"

"It's just a sprained ankle! I'll be fine" I said defiantly, determined to find Jin.

My mother followed behind me and grabbed my hand, "Yes and you were attacked by that horrible girl! She pulled some of your hair out and scratched you all up! Go look in the mirror!"

I looked in the mirror in the bathroom and gasped at the sight of myself. Scratches and bruises covered my face and body. My hair had painful bumps and small patches of swollen bald spots where she ripped my hair out. My eyes are bloodshot and black and  blue from where she punched me. I didn't realize she had hit me that badly. I looked wild and so different, I tried to make myself look better, but it hurt to touch my face and hair. Begrudgingly, I went back to my bed.

My mother handed me my phone. "They said they'd call you after the surgery."

"Who?"

"Taehyung and Jungkook."

I don't want to be here anymore, I want to see Jin!

As if my mother could read my mind, she said, "Don't even think about going there, his mother is blaming you for all of this!"

"But it was Sue!" I argued.

"We know, she's in police custody, but her bail is probably going to be paid and she'll be out scot free". She said shaking her head in disapproval.

We all knew Sue would probably pay her way out of this again, but she nearly killed someone, she's gotta be punished for that!

After my parents took turns watching me at the hospital, making sure I didn't escape, the hospital finally released me. I went home eager to hear from Taehyung.

Taehyung finally called me the next day. He told me that the surgery went well, but they put Jin under a medically induced coma until his vitals stabilized. I felt a horrible pain in my heart. I looked down for my engagement ring and it was gone!
