"Cora! Why are you always hitting me?"
Jin said through the black medical mask, grabbing my arms from hitting him.

My eyes widened in surprise and I gasped when I realized my mistake! I didn't recognize him since his face was covered.

Why am I always hurting this poor man!?

"Oh my God oppa, I'm so sorry!" I said as I gently caressed his red cheek, "I didn't know it was you!"

Ever since that night I got roofied, I had become weary of strange men, and I instinctively attacked without thinking.

"It's ok Cora... It's my fault, I tried to surprise you." Jin placed his arms back around my waist.

I didn't know he would make it out with us. I instantly felt thrilled to see him! I threw my arms around his neck affectionately, pulling him closer to hug him tightly. As he held me, he seemed to breath in deeply, inhaling my hair. After embracing, I looked up at him, only see his gorgeous brown eyes, as the rest of his face was covered. I wanted to kiss him so badly, but I knew he had to hide his face in a public place. Like Taehyung and Jungkook they had to be careful in case someone recognized them, I wish they could enjoy this day without having to hide. I was extremely grateful to have this moment with Jin alone, at least.

We stood there gazing at each other, as if we were the only two humans left in the world. We ignored the crowds of people bustling around us, the loud sounds of screams from people on frightening rides, and the loud speakers blasting modern hits nearby. Right now all I could see was Jin.

"Ahem..." Jungkook and Taehyung showed up out of nowhere, standing next to us.

The two looked uncomfortable at our public display of affection. We instantly pulled apart and I smiled sheepishly at them feeling my face growing hot from embarrassment. They weren't accustomed to how Americans publicly display affection yet.

"Hyung, you made it!" Jungkook said happy to see Jin.

"Yes, I got your text message about you guys going to the fair and I was able to leave the last meeting early. I rushed over as soon as I could." Jin grinned proudly.

"Good, now Cora can go on rides with someone." Taehyung said.

"Oh, I'm not going on any rides." I interjected.

I have always had a fear of heights.

"What about that one." Jin pointed to the giant Ferris wheel ahead of us.

I looked up at it, feeling uncertain. It was by far the highest ride, but it moved slowly unlike the other rides that wanted to get people's heart pumping.

"Just go on that ride with me, please." Jin gave me a cute pouting look.

How can I say no to that handsome pouty face?

"Ok let's go!" I said, determined to make him happy.

I have always been a chicken, but lately I wanted to do things I would have never done before and I know it was all because of Jin. He made me want to experience new things even if it was something I've always been afraid to do.

"Yes!" He gleefully grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the ride.

We ran towards the ride like kids, hand in hand and laughing together happily.

We stood in line, it was surprisingly not that long, compared to the other rides. Taehyung and Jungkook had left us to go on more thrilling rides together. We finally moved up in queue, and we were able to board the Ferris wheel. I nervously climbed in, and Jin helped me in by holding both my hands after getting in first.

Feeling how rickety the Ferris wheel seat seemed, I immediately wanted to get off. Jin sensed my fear and instinctively put his arm around me tightly to comfort me. I rested my head on his broad shoulders, closing my eyes. He took his other hand, and patted my head softly. As I felt the ride starting, I started tensing up.

"It's ok baby girl", Jin whispered in my ear, making the hairs on my skin rise.

I glanced up at him, and instantly felt calmer.

As we got higher up, we looked around at the sight of the people and buildings getting smaller. The city around us looked like bright lights in the distant. When we reached the top, I gasped at how beautiful the sky looked. The scenery was breathtaking, and my fear of heights suddenly disappeared as I gazed in wonderment.

"I'm sorry I've been so busy today." Jin finally said, snuggling closer.

"Don't be sorry, you're a busy man, I'm just happy I get to spend this time with you." I said, resting my head on him.

Jin smiled at me, "thank you for understanding."

I hadn't told him about Sue yet, despite this romantic setting, this was the perfect time to tell him, since no one would hear us.

I told him all about Sue, and what her plans were if I didn't break up with him.

Jin took a second to hear me out, contemplating, and then finally spoke, "I'm glad you brought her up, because I sensed something odd about her. She didn't interview with the normal HR department, so I wondered how she got the job with us. She's very fake, I could sense that right away. She flaunts her money constantly, so that explains her connections. I'll take care of everything don't worry." Jin said assuringly.

"Well Heather and I, are trying to do some digging on her as well."

"I see, so she's the reason you almost broke up with me?" Jin said with a hint of hurt behind his voice.

"Yes." I admitted, avoiding his eyes in shame.

"Ok it makes sense now."

"I'm sorry oppa."

"Don't be and even if our relationship leaks to the public, I don't care about the consequences. I only want you, and neither she nor anyone else is going to stop us."

"Ok oppa" I was surprised at his response.

He had always been kind of a rebel, now that I think about it. I trusted him and felt like everything would be ok.

The ride suddenly came to a halt as the passengers start getting off, one by one. When we reached the very top and stopped , Jin pulled down his mask, and planted a sudden passionate kiss on me. I relished the kiss I had been craving since I first saw him today. We got lost in each other's embrace and kiss until we felt the descension of the ride. We finally pulled apart as we got closer to the end of the ride. Jin pulled his mask back up to cover his face once again. I wished the ride wouldn't end as we get off together.
