"Noona, I'll take you home now." Taehyung said, after we finished eating our delicious burgers.

He seemed to be in a better mood after filling his tummy.

"Alright, let's go." I got up feeling very full and satisfied.

We left the restaurant, waving bye to the staff. A small crowd of young girls and a few guys, had gathered outside the restaurant, awaiting Taehyung for autographs and pictures. Taehyung graciously obliged them and didn't leave until everyone got a chance to see him. I admired how kind he was to all his fans, as I silently watched on the side. As the crowd dispersed, we finally drove off to my apartment.

"Did you enjoy the food?" Taehyung asked me.

"Of course! I love burgers!" I said patting my full belly.

"Great! I'm glad I got to go out with you. I had a fun time!" he glanced over at me, while driving.

"Me too!" I said surprised how nice it was being with him. Taehyung could make any situation fun.

"I know you just want to be friends and I will respect that, but if you ever change your mind, I'll be here waiting for you." Taehyung said suddenly with a serious expression.

While sitting there trying to think of what to say next, Taehyung reached over and placed his hand over mine. His slender big hand was so soft and warm. He looked me in the eyes ,and I could see the hurt in his eyes. I felt so awful, I wanted to hug him, but I knew that would give him the wrong idea.

I gently moved my hand away, "Thank you Taehyung, I'll keep that in mind."

He smiled at me, looking like he felt better already, I hoped I didn't give him false hope. After finally arriving at my apartment, Taehyung quietly walked with me to my door.

"Thanks again for everything! I had a blast with you tonight!" I stood in front of my door and faced Taehyung.

"It was my pleasure!" He grinned, revealing that cute boxy smile.

"Have a good night." I opened my door and stepped inside my apartment.

"You too! Sweet dreams!" He said before I closed the door.

I stood in front of my closed door, rethinking everything that had transpired. This was like a dream come true. I felt like any minute now, I would wake up and it was all an amazing dream.

I left bright and early to go to work, hoping not to run into anyone. I was one of the first people to arrive and I settled down in my cubicle to work.

Heather briskly walked in, shortly after me and asked me to follow her to her office. I quickly followed behind her and sat down on her black couch, eager to know why she wanted to see me. After closing the door, Heather sat down next to me, looking excited.

"Cora, as of today I won't be needing your assistance anymore." Heather said, still grinning.

"Huh? Are you firing me?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "Did I do something wrong?"

"Oh no!" She said chuckling.

"Then why won't you be needing me?" I asked still confused.

"Jin called me early this morning, and asked me if I could send you over to help him with some office paperwork." Heather said excitedly.

"He wants me to go help him? That doesn't make any sense!" I said in disbelief.

"Apparently, they're short staffed at his company and he specifically asked for you, so I told him of course you can come and help!"

"Why'd you do that? I don't want to go over there! Heather do you not realize how awkward this will be for me?" I whined, uncomfortable with this turn of events.

"Cora, this is work, and you need to make a good impression! If you go over there and do well, I guarantee you'll be promoted even faster!"

As I thought it over, she did have a valid point and I really did need this promotion!

"I'll go..." I said begrudgingly.

"Great! I'll let him know you're coming over. Go ahead and take your things with you." Heather was practically kicking me out as she ushered me to my cubicle.

"Wait a minute... how long am I going to be over there?" I asked gathering my things.

"As long as they need you, then he'll let you come back."

"That's reassuring." I said sarcastically.

"Oh come on Cora! This is a great opportunity." Heather said sounding frustrated with me.

"I know Heather, I'll get my stuff and go." I felt defeated.

"Atta girl! You got this!" she stuck her thumbs up encouragingly.

I gathered my things and took the elevator down to the third floor. I bit my lip nervously as the elevator descended and opened.

I saw Taehyung when I stepped out of the elevator, and awkwardly smiled and waved at him. His expression brightened when he saw me, and he excitedly waved back. I quietly giggled at his reaction. I was glad to see he wasn't going to be weird with me after yesterday's dinner.

"Noona! Why are you here?" Taehyung said breathlessly as he ran up to me.

"Jin summoned me to come help." I said, sounding annoyed.

"He did? Why?!"Taehyung asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Heather told me that apparently, you guys are really busy and need the extra staff."

"I guess that is true, I'm not very good at this office work." Taehyung said scratching the back of his neck and chuckling.

He looked like a mischievous kid who needed to go outside to play, not be cooped up in this dreary office.

"Well aren't you glad I'm here to help!" I said grinning back at him.

"Of course! Noona I'll train you myself!" He said enthusiastically as he helped me place my things down.

"Ok Taehyung, I'll just go check in with Jin first." I headed to Jin's office.

This floor was almost identical to Heather's floor, and Jin's office was in the back as well. I went to the back and knocked on his door. An attractive, stylish woman opened the door, looking me up and down with a judgmental look. She had wavy long dark hair, and looked similar to Anne Hathaway. Her business suit looked well fitted for her figure, and looked a bit too revealing for work attire.

"You must be Cora", she said in a snotty tone, looking at me like I was beneath her.

"Yes, I'm here to see Jin." I said softly, feeling intimidated by her.

"Ah, yes he's expecting you." She walked away with her nose up in the air.

Who is she? I never seen her before.
