Jasmin's Pov

I was just sitting on a branch thinking to myself. I looked at the horizon to watch the sun rise, I always enjoyed the sunrise. When I was little, aka before I became a test - subject of genetec, I used to watch the sun rise and sunset with my best friends,not Grace no I didn't meet her till I got sold to genetec, my best friends names were Sammy, Quorra, and Daryn. Quorra and Daryn were cousins and almost inseparable. "I wonder what happened to those girls?" I said out loud thinking I was alone, but of course I was wrong "what girls?" I know that voice all to well "Jerome" I growled "Hello my little Jazzy," oh no, he did not just call me ' his little Jazzy' I growled at him " I do not belong to you. Jerk and only my friends can call me Jas you are to call me Jasmin" I said all while thinking of different ways to kill him. He chuckled "oh I don't know Jasmin. I think that since Mitch and Grace are gonna be spending a lot of time together then maybe we should try to get along," he said putting his face right in front of mine I growled at him then realized that I had a chance to make him leave me alone. I quickly pushed him and he started to fall off the branch I smirked thinking that I had won, but of course I always have bad luck. He quickly grabbed my wrist and dragged me down with him, I landed on top of him, so I at least had a soft landing, kinda," WHAT THE HECK! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" he yelled at me " to try and get it through that thick head of yours that I want to be left alone!" I yelled back we just sat there giving each other the death glare, "OMG! Bacca on bacca action!" I heard two people yell I looked over and saw Mitch, Grace, and Prim. Prim looked confused " what does that mean?" I forgot Prim was still innocent, "NOTHING!" My bacca instincts forced me to yell. You see my instincts kinda make me treat Prim like a baby, but don't blame me, I usually resist my instincts but ever since I met Mitch, Jerome, Prim, and Sarah it has almost been impossible to resist, I don't know why. I realized that the reason Mitch and Grace yelled that, was the position me and Jerome were in, I was on top of him and had his hands pinned above his head. I felt my cheeks heat up under my fur, but why I mean I don't even feel that way about this jerk, in fact I feel the exact opposite. I then got off him " I hope I made my point," I got in his face ," leave me alone, or next time I will rip out your eyes and shove them down your throat so you can watch me TEAR YOUR CARCUS (hope u spelled that right) OPEN!" I yelled (anyone who knows what that is from I love you) " J-Jas" I looked over and saw Prim shaking from fear, her ears were laid back on her head, and her eyes were as wide as they could be."P-Prim" I reached over to her only for her to back up and hide behind Mitch. She was oviously scared, but of me.(OMG the Legion of doom remix of Hero by Skillet, just came on my music and it fits this part perfectly) I never meant to scare her, I quickly turned around and ran."Jasmin! Wait!" I heard Grace's voice, but I didn't care. I quickly made it to the clearing and near the cliff, but I stopped at the edge of the cliff, I could normally control my feral instincts, I didn't care if I didn't around that jerk he normally deserved what he got, but I didn't want anyone else to have to see me like that. If I can do that when I am just irritated imagine what I could do if I got really mad at Grace or worse the innocent little Prim, I cringed which is somethingI hardly ever do, 'they would probably deserve it either way, plus all the blood, heh, that would be awesome' my feral side liked to take control of me. 'Not anymore you won't hurt me or my friends anymore' I had never stood up to my instincts before, but it felt good 'W-waiting! Think about what you are gonna do! Grace will miss you! Sammy, Quorra, Daryn they will never know what happened to you!' It fought back 'it's for the best' I thought then shut out all the other complaints. Stood up from where I had sat down, on the edge of the cliff, *sigh* " I guess my time is up" I looked up to the sky "get ready mom and dad, your little girl is coming to join you." I then stepped over the edge, just in time to hear "JAS! WAIT!" to late. Next thing I knew I was falling.

Grace's Pov

I was following Jerome lookingfor where Jas had run off to, then I saw something that broke my heart, Jasmin stepping over the edge of the cliff "JAS! WAIT!" I saw Jerome have a worried expression I allowed instincts to take over, and flew at top speed to the edge then closed my wings, falling with Jasmin, then just before she hit the bottom I grabbed her hand and opened my wings, and started flapping as fast as I possibly could. When I finally got back to the top I was exhausted and I nearly fainted from it. "J-Jas-Jasmin?" "Why couldn't you let me die in piece?" She asked " WHAT THE HECK! DON'T DO THAT AGAIN OR I WILL KILL YOU MYSELF!" I heard Jerome's worried voice "What? I thought you of all people wouldn't be worried about me." Jas asked " well. Um. I wasn't. It's just that..... Prim was worried and I worry about Prim so.." He lied. I then saw Prim come out to the clearing with Sarah "Jas! Prim told me everything! Are you ok!" She was worried as well "Prim? Your not still scared of me?" " No , not anymore, I wasn't really scared you just kinda startled me" she said looking down at the ground.

Mitch's Pov

After we made sure that Jasmin was ok, we had to head back home Prim and Sarah went ahead, talking about something that I don't know. "So....... Jerome," "yeah" " I noticed that out of all of us you were the most worried when Jasmin nearly killed herself, mind explaining?" I asked " well I was just trying to be nice" "lier." "What?" " admit it you were legitimately worried about her" "well so what of I was." " dude. Do you like. Like like Jasmin?" I asked " Um no definitely not." " you do! " "so... I'm a guy she's a girl things like this happen." " yeah but not for you and also if you like her why do you tease her?" "Well it's just the way I am." He stated "well only one thing left to say," he gave me a confused glance,"#JASROME!" He face palmed.
