Aphrena walked past Elijah's door to see Hayley sitting down reading an old looking book. She mumbled the words as she read. "-for if I fail, our family will end in darkness."

Wonderful...

"Hey, Hayley." She snapped her head up.

"Oh hey. I was just reading."

"Yeah, I see that. That was pretty grim."

"Yeah, he has a lot to say that's for sure." She agreed. "Do you think he would be mad at me for reading this stuff?" She asked.

"I don't think so but then again I don't know him," Aphrena told her then heard Rebekah and Klaus talking downstairs so she listened in.

"Come on. Let's go down to them I need to know if they have a plan for Elijah." Aphrena told her to which she nodded and started to get up and holding the book to her chest.

"Oh, I'm so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duty towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven." Aphrena quietly snickered at the bickering of the sibling as we walked in.

"Ha!" Klaus chuckled.

"The werewolf and her friend would like to know what the plan is," Hayley said.

"Well, that depends what plan you mean, luv-my plan for global domination or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world." Klaus mocks.

"Hmm." Rebekah uses her vamp speed to grab a pencil from the side table and throws it at Klaus' neck to which he quickly catches with a sly smirk on his face causing the blonde Original to smile bitterly at him.

"The plan to rescue Elijah-" Aphrena started with a bitter tone. "-You know- the good brother, the one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back."

"In the front, if we're being specific," Klaus said smugly.

"You two said that you would get him back. So is there a plan, or what?" The doppelgänger looked to Rebekah who looked at Klaus with Hayley following their gazes and watching him as well.

"Ok," he said as he moves to sit in a chair. "Well, firstly, Marcel is not my mortal enemy. He's my friend, albeit one who is unaware that I am trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the french quarter but a friend nonetheless, and secondly I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly masty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly, sister, please." He motioned for his youngest sibling to talk.

"And thirdly, the plan, as you have demanded, is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back," she said simply which caused Aphrena to look at Klaus like he is an absolute idiot.

"That's not the whole plan, is it?" She asked.

Rebekah scoffed and said, "oh, please. Klaus may be a miserable excuse for a sibling, but there is none more diabolical." Hayley looked at him like she knew as well this would not work.

"That's only the plan "A," love. there's always a plan "B." Klaus remarked.

"And what's plan "B"?" Hayley asked.

"War."

All day Rebekah and Klaus have put a plan up for Elijah's return and going out and about as Aphrena was stuck here with Hayley doing whatever as long as they were inside. Rebekah told her favorite doppelgänger about the party she and Klaus would be going to so she had to stay with Hayley and not go out just in case anything happened.

Aphrena had decided and going swimming since nothing else in this house for her to do.

"Hayley! I'm going swimming if your ever bored of reading you can come out to me!"

"Ok!"

Aphrena walked into the hallway, grabbing a towel then headed out to the pool. She dipped in before starting to swim around. She hadn't gone swimming in forever so this was a nice little relaxation time for her.

Aphrena swam around for a little while longer before she heard a soft 'hey'x

Aphrena stood up from her floating position to see Hayley with a blanket wrapped around her.

"Oh, hey there." She walked to the stairs to get out. "Nice night out huh?"

Aphrena grabbed the towel and wrapped it around herself.

The two walked around the pool in silence just enjoying each others company. The two heard a snap and they looked at each other before slowly walking in that direction. The girls saw a wolf through the gates, it was white and black with some light brown patches.

They stare at the wolf intently watching it stare right back at th. "You're not supposed to be out here." Someone said which caused them to jump and turn around to see Sabine.

"Well I'm here and I can protect her." Aphrena muttered.

The doppelgänger hated Sabine and her stupid visions. They always got people into trouble.

"Who are you?" Hayley asks.

Aphrena stood in front of the pregnant wolf slightly just in case Sabine had any ill intent.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."

"Sure."

"Anyway, I'm Sabine. We met. I'm one of Sophie's friends."

"You're one of the witches," Hayley said in realization.

"Sophie just asked me to come to keep you two company while everyone is out."

"I'm here aren't I." Aphrena retorted.

"Yes well, I need to watch over you too." She looked over the vampire's shoulder at where the wolf was. "You know It's drawn to you Aphrena. And maybe you Hayley. The children you're carrying are hybrids. You and Klaus made something special," she said not telling the part of Elijah's and Aphrena's involvement because she was told specifically no to.

"Did you just say children as in more than one?" The wolf asked shocked.

"Yes, you're carrying two very special kids." She told Hayley who looked like she was getting pale at the information of having to take care of not one but two Mikaelsons.

"Well, this just gets better and better," Hayley says. The vampire doppelgänger, on the other hand, can't get over the fact she was having two.

"Yes this family is in for one big surprise Klaus will be happy with this," she said referring to the fact that Klaus' knew his best friend and brother were going to have a child and that she will get her baby back and he helped with it.

"You sound like Elijah. He thinks these babies are gonna make us one big, happy family, but now he's gone, and I don't even know what...they are," Hayley said looking at her stomach.

"You know, I can do something about that if you want, I mean, find out if they are a boy or girl." Aphrena rolled her eyes at Sabine's politeness.

"I thought you couldn't do witchy stuff around here." Hayley tilted her head in confusion.

"It's not magic, just an old trick my grandmother taught me. Come on. You have to be a little curious." Hayley looked at Aphrena and the girl nodded.

The two girls found out that the babies were going to be girls. Which Aphrena thought was amazing. She had always liked the thought of having two girls and maybe one boy.

Hayley was a lucky wolf. Even if she felt scared at the thought of having to raise to Mikaelsons with Klaus and the rest of the family.

But during the time they found out the genders, Sabine had chanted something that they couldn't understand and got them worried though everything seemed fine.

Hayley and Aphrena were looking up what Sabine chanted online when Klaus came in.

"Aphrena I think you might like to know Elijah is returning to us." Aphrena smiled at Hayley, happy because they both liked him. And gave them a sense of comfort and protection.

"Congrats. I guess being diabolical has its perks," Hayley said, a smile directed at him.

Klaus looked saddened. "You hardly know him, and yet you both miss him." She looked up from the computer. "What is it about my brother that always inspires such admiration?"

"He was kind to us." Klaus' eyes have a few tears brimming his eyes and Aphrena felt terrible that Klaus May have thought Hayley had feelings for the suited Original.

"Hey," Aphrena called out nudging Hayley to tell him the news. "We learned something today," She told him.

"I think they are girls," Hayley said smiling.

"They?" He asks still facing away.

"Yes. I'm having twins." She told him.

Klaus still didn't turn back but smiled before walking away.

"You two are gonna make a beautiful family."
