"What precisely do you want and what does it have to do with this young woman?" Elijah asked Sophie. Aphrena grabbed Hayley's hand in comfort which she gladly took.

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town, Klaus is the key." The doppelgänger looked up at her in shock. Marcel is nowhere near nice to the witch's but how are they gonna run him out of town he has tons of people to back him up. And as much as Aphrena liked him as a friend her bond with Hayley was stronger and she would do anything for her werewolf friend.

"Why Klaus?" Aphrena asked curiously.

"Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him and he won't see the betrayal coming." Sophie explains.

"Yes. Well, I'm sure you are aware, my brother Niklaus doesn't like to be told what to do," Elijah said which caused Aphrena to remember when Marcel said Klaus did things simply because he was told not to.

"That's why I brought you here. Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago," Sophie said making Aphrena's anger grow. She never knew Marcel drove them away. He never told her. But maybe he didn't know.

"That was Marcel?" Aphrena asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, and do you really think he is going to welcome a hybrid baby to the neighboorhood? Convince Klaus to help us, and no one has to know about the newest member- of the original family." She said trying not to show her fear. Marcel drove away Aphrena's family, he never told her this, and she never knew if she was ever going to see them.

"That sounds remarkably like blackmail," Elijah said amused at her trying it on his family.

"And like a threat to me and my baby," Hayley said.

"As I said, I'm desperate," she said knowing that Elijah could easily kill her without blinking if he wanted.

He sighs then talks, "Well then I have my work cut out for me don't I? I'll be back I promise," he said to Hayley and Aphrena before leaving. The vampire stayed with her knowing she needed some good company.

"You are gonna get through this Hayley, I promise and when this is all settled I will be by your side to help. Just make sure your baby is my goddaughter or godson and we are cool," Aphrena said trying to lighten the mood which helped as the She-wolf smiled.

"Thank you so much Aphrena. You can count on being the godmother by the way." That made her smile.

I had her lay her head on my thighs as she tries to rest a little. I run my hand through her hair as she closes her eyes. I soon fell asleep.

"Make sure Andrea and Aleah are safe." A distorted voice says.

"I will keep them out of it and find a place for them." Another distorted voice says.

Aphrena wakes up slightly when she heard footsteps in the graveyard. What the hell was that?

Witches came in and got the girls out waiting for the right moment to bring them forward. Having them both was gonna play well for the witches even if Aphrena didn't know that.

"Sophie Deveraux...what is this?" A British voice ask as Sophie steps out of the shadows.

"He's all yours proceed," Elijah said.

"You know your famous in this town? witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus," Sophie said not jumping into the reason he's here.

"Ahh well, I did run this town back in the day, love," he said knowing he has spent a lot of time in New Orleans to make a great impression.

"We know Marcel was nothing but an orphan street rat until you made him what he is. And now he is out of control. He does what he wants, he kills who he wants. I'm gonna stop him and your gonna help me," she said with a growing sense of confidence.

"This is why you brought me here?" Klaus asked his brother like this was not important to him at all. Which was true.

"Hear her out," Elijah says trying to plead him to stay long enough to see Aphrena and Hayley.

"I don't need to hear her out. I assure you, love. There is not a thing on this earth that will matter enough for me to waste even thirty more seconds of my time. Elijah, what is this madness?" He asked his brother impatiently.

"Klaus...trust me you will want to hear this," Elijah says as the witches drag the girls out to be seen.

Klaus' eyes widened as he knows who both girls are. One his best friend who he had to leave behind, the one who saw past every action he does and who loved him no matter what and never once went behind his back, the other a girl who he had certain relations with because she was his mate but never got the chance to do anything else with her because she had left before he could talk to her about the bond.

"Hayley, Aphrena what are you doing here?" He asked causing Aphrena to furrow her eyebrows in confusion how does he know her name? "Why are you holding them here?" He asks slightly aggravated.

"Marcel may be able to keep us from practicing real magic in this town but as keepers of the balance, we still know when nature has cooked up something new. For example, I have a special gift of sensing when a girl is pregnant. And for Aphrena, she just won't leave Hayley's side." She answered. Well at least now he knew the doppelgänger still didn't have her memories.

"What? Are you telling me...Hayley's..." he said sounding so shocked he can't form a sentence.

"I know it's impossible but somehow it's true," Hayley said.

"What are you saying?" He asked not wanting this to be true.

"Niklaus...the girl is carrying your child," Elijah said wanting him to finally know. Klaus' anger rose and his face paled considerably.

"No, it's impossible. Vampires cannot procreate!" He yelled not understanding this.

"But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire but you were born a werewolf. You're the original hybrid, the first of your kind and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes," Sophie said trying to convince him this is possible.

"I have not been with anyone else since that night in Mystic Falls if that what you're wondering. I definitely would have told the witches it wasn't yours if it wasn't, it's not like I want to be here held captive," Hayley said defending herself.

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her ba- baby! Are now controlled by us. We can keep them safe, or we can kill them." Aphrena moved slightly in front of Hayley as if to protect her. "If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie threatens, causing Hayley to tense.

"Wait, what?"

"Enough of this if you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah interjects.

"No. We can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules," Sophie says raising her voice. Klaus slowly turns to face her again, eyes blazed with anger.

"How dare you command me, threaten me with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weakness! This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear any more lies," he says before brushing past Elijah.

"Niklaus...listen." Klaus turns to Aphrena and Hayley. Aphrena moves out of Hayley's way noticing the look on his face as he looks at Hayley's flat stomach listening in to hear the heartbeat as she places a hand on top. Suddenly, there is a stare down between everyone in silence. He looks back to Elijah who slightly smirks at his brother.

"Kill her and the baby. What do I care?" He asks before walking out.

"Screw this we are out of here," Hayley says as she tries to leave with the brunette girl in tow but are stopped by some witches.

They turned around to face Sophie as Elijah says, "No one touches the girls. I will fix this." To which Sophie nods and lets Elijah go as Aphrena stays with Hayley.

"I'll keep you safe Hayley don't worry." She nods and I pull her into a hug.

"Thank you so much for this, even if it puts you in harm's way you are still protecting me, why?" She asks the older girl. The vampire shrugged not really knowing why she wanted to help so badly.

"I don't know but I feel an urge to be there for you and protect you. You used to be like a sister to me."

Hayley smiled at Aphrena grateful to have her back in her life.
