LETTING OUT AN EXHAUSTED GROAN, AMELIA FOUND HERSELF ROLLING ONTO HER STOMACH, burying her head into the pillow to try and block out the obnoxious noise called Chris Wood. The covers were pulled off her sleeping figure roughly, eliciting a loud whine from the brunette who lay in just a pair of boxers and an oversized t-shirt. A large figure jumped onto her, causing her to growl in complete annoyance at the disturbance.
"Wake up Amelia!" exclaimed Chris, bouncing around on the bed like a child on Christmas day.
"Piss off Chris," Amelia mumbled, burying her head into the pillow further.
A whine escaped Chris' lips at the response he'd gotten from the brunette. Falling onto the bed beside her, he tugged at her arm in order for her to look at him, but it didn't work. A pout tugged at his lips when he got no response with whatever he tried to do to catch his best friend's attention.
"Come on, A! I wanna spend my last day with you!" whined Chris, letting his fingers trail up her bare thigh.
A shiver ran up the brunette's spine, resulting in her entire body jolting slightly. A small smirk tugged at Chris' lips at the reaction he received from the little contact. He whined at her like a little kid, wanting to spend his last day with her. He didn't want to spend his day alone, and all he wanted was to go out and about NYC, to discover things he's never seen before although he lived there.
"Pleaseeeee?!" begged Chris, tugging at Amelia's shirt.
Amelia sighed to herself, rolling around onto her left side in order to be able to look at Chris. His blue irises were glancing back at her, a look to them that made her want to kiss him, but she couldn't. That'd be weird for the both of them. She rolled her eyes, bringing her hands up to rest under her pillow as her eyes closed again.
"Pick something out for me to wear, and let me sleep for another hour. Then I'll spend the day with you," bargained Amelia, which she received a squeal in response.
"Yes! Okay!" exclaimed Chris, scrambling off the bed quickly.
The actor quickly pulled the covers back over his best friend, letting her drift off to sleep again. Chris rummaged through her drawers, finding something for her to wear out on their day out.
He went with a pair of black high-waisted skinny jeans, her favourite shirt that says "mentally dating myself.... AND Netflix", and her undergarments, socks, and her favourite pair of Nike SB's - that he brought for her whilst he away filming.
Looking over his shoulder whilst he closed her draws, he smiled when he noticed she had fallen asleep again. His eyes locked on the teddy that had fallen off the bed, and chuckled to himself. Walking over to pick it up, he gently placed it under Amelia's arm, where she grabbed onto it and cuddled into it happily. His smile never faltering.
Leaving the room, Chris walked back down the corridor to the lounge room, where he threw himself onto the couch tiredly. He had been up since four in the morning, excited to spend his last day with Amelia roaming around NYC with Drift and Flash. He knew it was going to be a good day, hanging out with Drift, Flash, and Amelia.
CHRIS HADN'T REALISED HOW LONG IT'D BEEN UNTIL HIS PHONE WENT OFF. Pulling it out of his pocket, he realised he had a message from another cast member, asking when he'd be arriving on set. He quickly replied, before realising that Amelia had been asleep for an hour and 25 minutes, and scrambled from the couch to awaken her.
Making his way into Amelia's bedroom for the second time that morning, he found Amelia lying on her right side this time, mumbling something in her sleep that he couldn't quite understand due to her face being buried into her teddy. He furrowed his eyebrows, walking around the other side, only to hear her speak again.
"Chris," she whimpered.
The actor reached out to touch the brunette on the shoulder, slowly shaking her body in order to wake herself up. Amelia whined in her sleep, before her eyes fluttered open. Letting out a strange noise between a whine and a yawn, Amelia stretched her arms and legs out, before rubbing at her face to wake herself up.
Her eyes drifted over to the brunette who sat on the bed beside her, smiling down at her whilst she had been awakening. A groan escaped her lips as she covered her face in embarrassment, when she realised that Chris had been watching her wake herself up, causing a chuckle to escape Chris' lips.
"Don't laugh at me you pervert," muttered Amelia.
Chris rolled his eyes at the brunette, smacking her thigh whilst he rose from the bed as he told her to hurry up. Amelia rose her eyebrows at his back when he turned around, but kicked her legs off the bed anyway. Standing up, she made her way into the bathroom to take a hot shower in order to wake herself up more.
Chris disappeared into the kitchen to find some fruit to snack on while he waited for Amelia to shower. He found an apple in the fridge and pulled it out, taking a bite once he had closed the fridge door. Suddenly, Drift barked, catching Chris' attention from where he stood leaning against the kitchen counter.
Glancing over at the pup, he realised that he was only barking at Flash to catch the other dog's attention while they were playing on the lounge room floor. He grinned in amusement at them both, then suddenly jumped with a squeal when a pair of fingers dug into his ribs.
"GOTCHU!" shouted Amelia, laughing in success at scaring him.
"Rude," mumbled Chris, biting from his apple.
Amelia chuckled, wrapping her arms around him from the side. "Don't be a baby, you baby."
"I'm not being a baby," muttered Chris, pressing a kiss to his best friend's forehead.
Amelia grinned at him, managing to jump up onto his back, wrapping her arms around him. She rested her head against his back, sighing out in content. Chris rolled his eyes whilst the female in the room couldn't see, but let her hang from him like a monkey anyway.
The duo grabbed the gear they needed for the day, and headed out into the city of New York with both Flash and Drift on a leash. They spent most of the morning out walking around, trying to avoid any paparazzi that may have seen them, until they decided to stop and grab some fish and chips for lunch, before they headed to Central Park.
Both Flash and Drift ran around like maniacs, playing tiggy with one another, while Chris and Amelia sat under the shade of a tree, munching away on their lunch. She decided on posting the photo she took of Chris and Drift earlier in the day while they were eating, which turned their good day into a bad one.
They refrained themselves from arguing out in public, and waited until they got back to their apartment. When they did, the biggest fight they'd ever had happened, and Amelia found herself in her bedroom angry, not even bothering to leave her room to grab something to eat. Chris walked back and forth throughout the house, locating things he'd need to pack for his flight over to Atlanta tomorrow morning.
