ONE, KINDNESS IS KEY. absolutely no hate will be tolerated, whether it's to the ocs or the creators. any hate comments will be deleted and you will be blocked. this is a safe space for everyone, so let's keep it that way! additionally, if your character is accepted, please do not be a ghost reader! comment or at least vote on the chapters so that i know you're active. if you're planning to be going on hiatus, please let me know beforehand! (but please make sure you have finished your opinions if you get accepted, before going on hiatus.)

TWO, DIVERSITY. despite this applyfic being set in japan, keep in mind that yousei is an international university! that means i want different ethnicities of people applying, as well as people with different gender identities and sexualities. i don't want to see a blond haired, cisgender female named emily who has a boyfriend and is perfect at everything. creative characters are what's going to motivate me to write the most, so give me diverse, interesting characters! face claims will not be animated. kpop idols, actors, and singers are all welcome, just make sure that they roughly fit the age range and have enough resources on pinterest :) minor racebending (etc using a japanese fc for a korean oc) is allowed, as long as they're not a completely different race or something.

THREE, APPLICATIONS. i'm planning for the cast to have ~8 people total, so that means i'll be accepting around 6 ocs! you are welcome to apply as many times as you like, but keep in mind there's a high chance that i'll only accept one of your ocs to keep it fair for everyone. if you're not accepted. don't worry: chances are you'll be part of the background cast! the passwords are to follow me permanently, share this on your message board & tag me, and your current celebrity or fictional crush <3

FOUR, NEAT & DETAILED FORMS. for the sake of organization, i will be accepting google doc forms only. if that's an issue for you, don't be afraid to contact me and we can work out a solution! start by commenting your oc's name first, then linking their form in the same thread. please be as neat as you can with your forms! being aesthetic is 100% optional, i just need to be able to read your form. additionally, PLEASE put effort and details into your forms! i don't care how specific you get; in fact, the more specific the better! i want to write your oc just the way you imagine them to be, so don't be afraid of the details.

FIVE, FINAL NOTES. the deadline for this applyfic is august 12th, though i will allow extensions if needed! if you need any help with creating characters, i have a section below titled 'form help' where i'll be sharing some character ideas as well as other things! please refer to it if you need to, and don't be afraid to ask questions <3
