It was the next day, kankuro hasn't came out of his room since yesterday. Temari and them expected that, after all he was rapped and it was hitting him hard. He's scared, and dosen't know who to trust anymore.

Currently everyone but kankuro gathered around for breakfast, it was quiet. Usually temari and kankuro would be arguing, and Garra telling them to calm it down and they won't.

But no, it was quiet and temari felt really worry for her younger brother. Garra was also worried and rarely got any sleep last night, kiba was the same. He was worried for kankuro, he stayed up most of the night watching him and making sure Kai wouldn't appear out of nowhere.

It was awkward at the table, quiet a sound not know in the sand siblings household. No one knew what to say or talk about, and it was killing them all.

" Kiba, how did kankuro sleep last night? "

" He didn't go to sleep until I think about two, I kept telling him you know who wouldn't come. I stayed up most of the night making sure of it "

" I'm going to go see him today "

" What? "

" Since this involve someone of a high level as us, I was told I had to go. And watch as they interview him, besides I was going to go either way. Lee I wish for you to come with me "

" I understand Garra! "

" I understand, I'll stay behind to watch over kankuro. Give him a good beating for me "

She gets up and goes and grabs a plate, she prepared for him.

Temari walks upstairs and knocks on his door, and walks in. There kankuro layed back facing her, and she sighs.

" Hey kankuro, I brought you some breakfast "

She walks over and sat it on the nightstand next to his bed, she helps him into a sitting position.

" Thanks sis "

He said in a low voice, and looks away feeling really scared at the moment. She didn't like this kankuro, she wanted her cocky, rude brother back.

" It's no problem, now open your mouth "

" You don't have to feed me "

" It's the least I could do, besides I'm pretty sure your body aches and could barely move at it is "

Kankuro didn't bother to argue, because he knew she was right. He opens his mouth and she began to feed him, making her Remember when he was little and she use to feed him.

It made her smile at the memories, how he'll always make a mess. But there not little anymore, both mature and grown to fine man and lady. Both bound to be very attractive, unfortunately for that kankuro was taken for the worse. 

Temari frowns at the thought, and wished they could turn back time. So she could of prevented that, and beat the fuck out of Kai, but only if she knew yesterday wasn't the first time it happened.

It was now mid afternoon, everyone calm. Temari was cleaning forcing Shikamaru to help her. Kiba In kankuro's room watching him, kiba feeling really bad this happened, and wanting to kill Kai.

" How you feeling? "

" Fine "

Kiba didn't like this, he was acting shy, and looked really scared. It was somewhat like when he first met him again, but he was more shut in.

He didn't like seeing him like this, he wanted to help him. He's doing everything he can, but he wants to do so much more.

It was now night, Garra and lee back from meeting with the bastard. Temari spend most of her day with kankuro, but he bearly talked.

It was dinner time, kankuro had come down to join them. It was quiet and temari, just wanted kankuro to say a smart comment but nothing.

Garra really didn't like seeing his older sibling like this, and he decided to break the ice in the room.

" So, I talked with the bastard "

" He didn't talk, kept taunting me with the fact how he marked Anki as his. And saying he's not going to stay there long "

" Yeah, it took five guards and a lee to pull me away. I hope that was good enough for you nee-chan "

As soon as they even mention Kai, kankuro payed attention. He's right he won't stay still for long, he's going to come and kill him.

Kiba noticed kankuro stopped eating, and listen as they talked and looked really tense.

He got up and went upstairs, of course it was difficult because his body ached. But he managed, temari sighs and looks down at her lap.

" What should we do? "

" He's so different, scared, and shy. I mean last time he was like this was when he was five. It took forever to get him out of his shell. And he always was shy after that, but I'm doing everything I can "

Shikamaru sat there analyzing everything he knows so far. Kankuro started to act shy when he was five, it took them a while to get him back and since been shy. Dosen't has friends and prefers to be in his room or Garra's office, and what he seen acts different around Kai. More shy, nervous and Kai always seemed to glare at Everyone secretly, especially kiba. Whenever he came back from hanging out with Kai, was acting like he did now.

Suddenly it pieced together in his mind, and what he discovered could be a theory but he had to tell them.

" Yeah Shikamaru? "

" You said kankuro acted like this before "

" Yeah, when he was five, one day he was suddenly all shaken up about something. He refused to tell anyone why, and didn't want anyone to touch him. It took us forever to get him to how he was, but whenever Kai would go to talk to him. He slowly got out his shell, and well the rest history "

" Well pretty normal, he would be scared at first after he randomly was shaken up about something. Over time he was less scared, and acted how he did "

" How did he act, when Kai left for two years? "

" Uh, he was a little bit more out of his shell. He joked around a lot, and hung out with us more. Why all these questions? "

" Kankuro when he was five was suddenly scared because of everything, and refused to say why. Kai kept talking to him and slowly began to act like he did. Two years Kai leaves, and kankuro comes out his shell a bit. But suddenly he comes back and he goes back to his old self, and suddenly we watch him taking advantage of him. What does that tell you guys? "

They all think about everything he said, but no one knows.
