*Audrey POV*

"I'm a vampire."

My eyes widened at his statement. He smiled, nervously. I slowly backed up.

"Y-You're a v-vampire?" I stuttered. What the hell? Why didn't he tell me while we were dating? I told him that I was a werewolf. I thought.

"Yeah. Audrey, I'm not going to hurt you. I still like you, a lot. I never lost feelings for you." I stopped walking backwards and stared at him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"Well I was scared. I didn't want to loose you then. I love you Audrey and I want you back." I sighed loudly, then walked back over to Grayson. Even though I just lost Jackson, I didn't feel any sadness over it. Grayson covered it all up.

He was my happiness.

Once I reached Grayson, I wrapped him in my embrace.

"I don't care what you are. I will always love you." I stated, smiling into his chest.

"Good because I don't want to loose you, again." I laughed quietly then pulled away. He smiled then leant down and kissed me.

Once we returned to the house, I plopped down on the couch. My pack was checking the area so we were home alone.

A few minutes later there was a knock on my door. I cautiously walked to the door and opened it. Ashley was standing there, she was breathing heavily and looked exhausted. I quickly let her in. She stumbled onto the ground and I helped her up. She had to use my shoulder to keep from falling over. I signaled Grayson to go and get her water and he did.

Once Ashley was on the couch, Grayson came into the room holding three cups and a pitcher of water. He smiled, politely then poured everyone a cup. Ashley immediately engulfed the water and poured herself another glass.

Taking a deep breath, Ashley, finally, started to breath normally.

"So why did you follow me?" I asked out of the blue. She sighed heavily then turned her head towards me.

"Well I was worried about you and I had to clarify that we all aren't mad at you." She paused then continued again.

"Or scared of you." She ended. I smiled,  knowing that they weren't scared of me, that lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders.

"Good because I don't want to loose you guys." I explained.

Then I pulled Ashley into a hug, even though she hates them.

I'm glad I have friends like these.
