Chapter 10

*Cohen's POV*

I loved seeing my older sister happy with her mate, I really did. It's just I hate feeling hollow and empty. "Ugh!" I groaned as I fell onto my bed. I needed to get out of this house for a while. It was eleven at night and everyone was sleeping so I sneaked out of my room and out the front door without making a sound. I hopped into my car and shoved the key in the ignition switch. Before I started it I rested my head against the steering wheel, sighing loudly I lifted my head and turned the key, making the car roar. I backed out of the driveway and onto the road. I knew exactly where I wanted to go.

A few minutes later I reached my destination. I stepped out of my car and walked into the brick building. There was a wooden door and a sign that read, "Bar. Family Restaurant, beer, burgers and more." I laughed then opened the door, the bar was dark and the music was blaring. I walked through the crowd of people dancing until I reached the bar. The man who was working was very handsome. He had black hair that was clean cut and he was dressed in a suit. I sat on the tall bar stool and sighed heavily. "Can I get a shot of whiskey, please?" I asked, I needed a drink bad.

While the bartender was making my shot, a man sat next to me. He seemed to be near my age, maybe a little older. He was dressed in a suit too, he seemed depressed and gloomy. I tapped his shoulder after he put his head on his arms. "Are you okay?" I asked, politely. He looked at me with bright baby blue eyes. They looked like mine. He had blonde hair like me but his was longer and spiked up. We looked alike but he was very handsome. "No! I'm never going to be okay!" He yelled, I gasped. "You don't need to be yell. Just tell me what's wrong." He sighed, "My boyfriend broke up with me because I was talking to a coworker. Not like flirting but like work related." His eyes started to fill up with tears. I sighed, "It's okay. You'll find someone better." He laughed, "Yeah okay." His sarcasm hurt a little but I shook it off. "Excuse me, bartender." I called, waiting for him to come over. "Can you get this man whatever he wants. It's on me." I whispered to him. The bartender looked at the man next to me, "What do you need, sir?" The man looked at the bartender, "Can I get a Hot Damn please?" I knew exactly what a Hot Damn was. It was a mixture of orange juice, vodka, whiskey and rum. "Great choice." I stated, looking forward towards the football game that was playing.

"Thanks?" He asked. I laughed, "You're welcome."

We talked for hours until the bar closed at 2am. He suggested that I came over to his house but I declined it. I did drive him home though since he was wasted. I wasn't letting him drive while he wasn't thinking straight. I only had that one drink because I was talking to Drake. He was truly amazing. Especially his smile, oh man, his smile. Wait, was I falling for Drake? No that isn't possible. I thought as I drove down the road.

My thoughts wandered until I reached the house. All the lights were off so I snuck in and ran upstairs, into my room. Best night ever.
