Ashley Wren gets on the ice.
It was incredibly difficult.
Ethan could barely stay on his feet, while Ashley skated circles around him, giggling as he almost fell on his face for what had to be the fifth time since they got on the ice.
"Aren't Vampires supposed to have better physical coordination?" Ashley asked as he stopped in front of Ethan with a barely suppressed grin.
"How are you so good at this?" Ethan propped himself up against the railing.
"Lots of practice." Ashley shrugged and glided over to Ethan's side. "I'm getting tired anyway. Ready to go?"
"Please."

Ashley slid back into the limo, waving at Bella and Matilda before the car sped away. "So, where to now?"
"To our hotel. We'll be there in a few minutes." Ethan responded.
"Why do we even need a hotel?" Ashley asked, stretching out in the back of the car and resting his head in Ethan's lap.
"If I stay home I might get sucked back into work," Ethan answered, a smile playing at his lips as Ashley let out a small yawn.
"Well, wake me up when we get there."
"Alright, Ashley."
After what seemed like minutes later, Ethan shook Ashley awake, and the two of them stepped out of the limo and onto the street in front of their hotel.
"The St. Regis?" Ashley stared up at the hotel's entrance. "You've got to be kidding me."
The hotel's reception was crowded with men and women in fancy suits and dresses moving around as bellboys and hotel staff buzzed about carrying their bags and waiting on their every whim. The pair walked up to the reception desk, where a bespectacled woman was signing people in. As they approached her, she put on her friendliest smile to greet them.
"Good evening. How can I help you today?"
"We reserved a room for two under Mr Grey." Ethan answered.
"Oh, yes. Room 25." She handed Ethan the key cards with a smile.
"Thank you."

Ashley flopped onto the king-sized bed, sinking into the ludicrously soft mattress. Ethan just shakes his head at his antics and makes his way to the hotel phone set on their bedside table. "Do you want something to eat?"
Ashley got off the bed and walked over to him, sitting on the edge of the bed. "No thanks, I had to much to eat at the ice rink."
"Ready to go to bed yet?"
"Hmm, not quite."
"What do you want to d-" Ashley leaned forward, pressing his lips to Ethan's quickly and stopping his speech in its tracks.

Ashley woke up to the sound of bacon sizzling and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. He sat up in his bed, glancing around the room when he noticed a chair right next to his bed with a bathrobe spread out on it and bathroom slippers on the floor next to it.
Ashley put on the bathrobe and the slippers, then made his way to the kitchen. Ethan was by the stove, shirtless and flipping something over in the frying pan; he turned when Ashley entered the room. "Morning. Are you feeling alright?"
"I feel great." Ashley sat across from Ethan, wincing slightly from the pain as he did. "Ok, maybe I'm a little soar."
Ethan frowned and made his way over to Ashley. "Sorry, I'll have to go easier on you next time."
"Please don't." Ashley waved his concern of. "Trust me, last night was amazing. I'll be fine so far whatever you have planned today doesn't involve a lot of walking."
Ethan's frown deepened, but he nodded then moved back to the stove and switched off the burners. As he does Ashley notices a plate of food, covered by a silver dome already on the counter. "You ordered room service already?"
"Hmm?" He glances back as he fills up Ashley's plate. "Oh that. I did but they over-cooked the bacon; I know you don't like it that well done, so I made some myself. The hotel's food has probably congealed by now; you slept longer than I thought you would." Ethan smiled as he said the last part, setting both their plates down and taking a seat right next to Ashley.
"It's your fault. You tired me out." Ashley responded before taking a bite of a bacon strip; Ethan got them just the way he liked them. Soon, he finished his pan-fried salmon and bacon and not-so-subtly sneaked food of Ethan's plate. Ethan just shook his head, emerald green eyes glinting with amusement, and made more for both of them.
As Ashley finally finished up his breakfast and Ethan put the dishes away (he wouldn't let Ashley do much around the suite; it took a lot of convincing just to let him walk on his own), he sipped at his coffee and enjoyed the comfortable silence they slipped into. They'd moved to the couch eventually, and Ashley stayed snuggled up to Ethan's side.
