That night I slept perfect. Something that hadn't happened in a long time. I basically smiled myself to sleep and for once had no worries or cares in the world. I dreamt of a perfect new life without any flaws and most importantly, Ashton.

    Although I didn't realize it at first, he had some type of effect on me. One look into his eyes and I feel all my problems vanish into thin air. He was my happiness. 

   Speaking of happiness, Kailey was flying in from Miami today. She may be my cousin but she's a pain in the ass almost all the time. After being raised with your best-friend for 20 years you kind of want to strangle them at times but still wouldn't trade them for anything. She was the type of person that always made you smile. Even in the worst situations she would crack a joke and wouldn't stop until she saw me smile. She may be 2 months older than me, but she acts like she actually 18 years younger. Her childish persona was another thing I adored about her. 

       After my train of thought, I decide to shower. I check the time on my phone and see that it's only 10 o'clock meaning that I still had plenty time left. I undress myself as I slip into the cold shower. I wait a few moments for the water to warm up as I just stand under the shower head letting the water relax my muscles. Everything seemed to be looking up now, and I really hope it wasn't gonna change anytime soon. 

    When I step out of the shower, it's nearly 11 and I wrap myself in a towel to walk outside. I walk towards my closet and decide to dress to impress. Although I wasn't going anywhere special, I still wanted to catch Ashton's eye if I happen to run into him. Maybe I could even go to dinner with Kailey to catch up after I pick her up. She loved dressing up, wearing heels, and makeup so it wouldn't bother her. I finally decide to wear a black body con dress that outlined all the curves in all the right places. I pair the dress with red heels and my red purse. I wear golden hoops and a few golden rings to accessorize. 

      I make my way through the main house into the garage without running into Ashton. The house was oddly quiet too. That's weird... 

   I just brush it off and grab the keys to the black Range Rover. So far, that was my favorite car. I arrive to the airport at 12:57 and I rush to the national arrivals section. I see multiple people arrive but I soon hear a scream. I turn my head to see Kailey running towards me in 6 inch heels. Man, she said she was going to look good but I didn't think she meant uncomfortable too. Somehow she seemed fine though. "Bitch on steroids." I mentally note. I don't have time to even finish a word because when she runs towards me, she jumps on me causing us both to fall. I face-palm repeatedly but laugh it off with her. 

      By the time we get up, we were both out of breath. When we both manage to stand up semi-straight, I pull her in for a tight hug. She may be extra and annoying, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss her. It was going to be nice having her here with me. I could finally talk to someone about my adventures. Especially days with ashton. 

    We get in the car and begin to catch up. "So best-friend, do you have a special someone?" I ask glancing at her from the corner of my eye. She hides her face in her hands and mumbles a "Maybe." 

     I smile and say, "Give me all details. ASAP." 

  "Well, since you MUST know..." she says emphasizing the 'must'. "His name is Calum. We met back in Miami when he was visiting his grandparents for 2 weeks. He's from New York actually." 

   "Awe. I need to meet him soon. I actually have a special someone myself." I say, eyes still focused on the road. She hums signaling for me to continue. 

  "His name is Ashton. He's my boss' son. We met at the airport back in Miami when he spilled coffee all over me." I say smiling at the memory. "Wow," she begins laughing, "he sure sounds great." 

  "Hey! He really is." I say playfully pushing her shoulder. "You seem happy. He must really be something." she says looking at me. 

"But if he hurts you, I'll chop his balls off." she says with a serious face as I laugh. 

   "He won't." I say hoping that I was right.
