I wake up to the sun shining brightly through my curtains. It was a quiet and peaceful morning. I lift the covers off me and head to the shower. I turn on the water and wait for it to warm up. I step into the hot water and feel my muscles relax. I had nothing on my mind and end up taking a pretty long shower. I step out and wrap myself in a towel provided by Lily. 

                When I reach the door of the bathroom I look out and see no one other than the famous Ashton Irwin. I clear my throat and he turns around, his eyes turning dark by looking at me. Instead of arguing with him and ruining my calm mood, I simply walk into my closet still wrapped in my towel. His eyes never leave my body as I pick out my outfit. I end up choosing a long sleeved black crop top and light denim jeans paired with boots. I end off my outfit with hoop earrings and a natural makeup look. To add a little more color, I add red lipstick.

                  I walk into my bathroom, lock the door and get dressed. I walk outside and Ashton is still in the same position as he was when I went into the bathroom. When he turns to look at me, he closes his eyes and sucks in a breath. "What are you doing here again?" I ask. 

       "Hoping to take you out." he says. Only this time he didn't have a smug expression or a cocky grin plastered on his face, he had a genuine smile. His features had softened and he seemed calm for once. 

                 Because I was in such a good mood, I answer "Sure why not." as I make my way to the door. He follows close behind and closes the door behind him. We make our way to the main house and I stop to leave Lily a note.

             Dear Lily, 

                                I hope you don't mind but I stepped out to go explore NYC for a while. xx -Serena.

      Ashton & I make our way over to a black Ferrari and when I sit down in the car, I receive a call. The number has a Miami caller ID so I answer it with a simple "Hello?" 

           "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BITCHHHHHH!" I hear the other person on the line scream. I recognize that loud scream as my one and only best-friend; Kailey. "WASSSSSSSUPPPP." I scream back earning a weird look from Ashton. Kailey and I both laugh and she asks, "Dude where ya at?" 

        "NYC. Why?" I respond. "BECAUSE I'M PACKING MY BAGS RIGHT NOW SO PICK ME UP AT THE AIRPORT AT 1 PM TOMORROW. OK? OK." she yells. 

              "For real?" I say becoming super excited. "Yea, I booked a flight today." she says. "HELL YEA! I'll see you tomorrow then!" I tell her before hanging up. 

             When I hang up on Kailey, Ashton looks at me with a smile and asks, "Who was that?" 

     "My cousin who I basically consider my best-friend." I answer still smiling. "Oh ok. Where to my lady?" he questions with a small smile. 

           "Anywhere I can go broke." I say looking at him. "Okay." he says giggling. He sounded like a little girl when he giggled. He turns up the volume of the radio and starts singing along to Ed Sheeran's "Galway Girl." 

                  Soon enough I start singing too. We sing/rap along to the entire song and reach a shopping center as Ashton finishes with "My, my, my, my, my, my, my Galway girl." I laugh at how stupid we must've looked during the car ride. 

        We pull into an empty parking space right in front of H&M. I turn to open my door but Ashton already beat me to it. I blush and cover my face with my hands as he just smiles looking at me. We walk into H&M and I immediately spot things I want. "Should I get this or this?" I say holding up an army green long sleeved crop top in my left hand and a over sized sweater that had a Nirvana logo in the front in my right hand. 

         "Hmmmmm..." Ashton hums pretending to think. "I think I'll buy them both for you." he says grabbing them from my hand and running up to the cash register before I could protest. By the time I caught up, he had already payed and had a bag in his hand. "Ugh. I have to pay you back whether you like it or not." I say smiling at him. "Nope." he says popping the P. 

           We make our way to a few other stores and by the end of the day, my hands are full of shopping bags. Ashton insists on holding them all and when we get to the car, you could tell he was exhausted. He opens the trunk and puts all the bags in there and we both make our way to the front seats. I just looked out the window smiling at how much fun I've had today and before I knew it, we were at the house. We, more like Ashton, grab the bags and make our way to the guest house. I tell him to leave all the bags in the small living room and as I turn around to look at what a mess there was, I feel some arms wrap around my waist. 

             "I had fun today." Ashton says. I could feel him smiling and just the thought of that made me smile too. God, what's happening to me? "Me too." I say turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck. "Goodnight Ashton." I say as he heads for the door. 

      "Goodnight Serena."
