Chapter 51

"Hey, sleepy head. It's showtime." Kongpob said as he gave Arthit's shoulder a squeeze.

Arthit immediately scrambled to his feet to get ready. He didn't shower before his nap like Kongpob did. Kongpob went in the bathroom first, but he didn't even care. He rushed right in, got naked, and started to shower. Arthit is usually too self-conscious to let Kongpob see him naked unless they were ready to bone.

Trying to make it quick, he lathered the body wash on with his hand.

"You missed a spot." Kongpob snakes his arms around him from behind.

"Kongpob. We have no time for this." Arthit tried to resist, but moaned as Kongpob started nipping and licking the shell of his ear.

"Mmm....we are going to be late." Arthit couldn't help, but melt into Kongpob's touch. The warm shower still spraying on his chest as his body caved to Kongpob.

"This is what you get for getting naked in front of me." Kongpob licked and sucked on Arthit's stretched neck.

Kongpob moved his hand down to cup Arthit's balls before taking hold of Arthit's manhood. Using his thumb, he made small circles on top of the slit. He stroked it fast as he sucked and bit Arthit's neck from behind. Kongpob purposely grinded his own dick against the crack of Arthit's ass, driving the latter insane with heat from his core.

If Arthit wasn't so preoccupied with all the moaning Kongpob is eliciting from him, he would have just grabbed Kongpob's dick, and shoved it right in him. But nope, he is too lost. Lost in the pleasure of Kongpob's skillful hand. And before he knew it, he came undone. Arthit leaned his head back on Kongpob's shoulder, a little weak in the knees.

Kongpob kissed his cheek. "Better?"

Arthit nodded, and stood back up to rinse himself off. Kongpob stepped out of the shower taking a towel to wrap around his waist, and walked out of the bathroom. He only wanted to help Arthit relax a little, take the edge off.

Taking a deep breath, Arthit followed suit. He went out and got ready too.

Sonya's driver came to the door for Arthit. Kongpob stepped out the house with Arthit, and watched him nervously get in the car before he headed out himself. He pulled his Ferrari out of his garage. He hasn't driven it for a while now. It's one of his many toys that he bought on a whim. There's really no practical need for it. There's absolutely no place in Bangkok that he would ever be able to utilize 789-hp, nor will the traffic here ever allow him to verify the claim of 0-100 mph in 2.9 seconds, crushing the 0-60 mph benchmark of other rival sports coupes unless he was on a racetrack.

***Ferrari 812 Superfast***

There's also that yacht that he hasn't used for over two years now that he still has to pay a crew to maintain. He has no time for it. Maybe he will take it out during the next holiday with Arthit for one last spin, and then sell it. This excessiveness is really cramping his style. However, if Arthit likes it, then he can keep it a little longer. Maybe.

He made his way to Nina's, and he texted her even before leaving the house, but here he is twenty minutes, and counting outside. He would have gone up to the door, but he didn't want his grandma to catch him. He would never make it on time if she did. She would make him talk, eat, and fuss all over him.

Kongpob was ready to get back in the car, chivalry be damned. If he stands out here any longer, he is going to need another shower. And of course that is when Nina decides to grace him with her presence.

Nina came out in a long red fitted gown that has an open slit on the right side running all the way up to the top of her thighs. Her hair is done in beautiful curls pushed to her left side. She looked gorgeous. It's no wonder she continues to get proposals despite the rejection rate is so high. She has rejected at least one marriage proposal every year for the past eight years. Every proposing man tells her he is the one that she has been waiting for, but no one knows that 'the one' had already gotten away when she was twenty four.

"Sorry for the wait." Nina says as she carefully stepped into the opened car.

"You look very nice. It's worth the wait." Kongpob ever the gentleman helped make sure Nina's dress was properly tucked inside the car before closing the door.

"So, have you told Arthit about tonight?" Nina asked curiously.

"No. I didn't want to worry him unnecessarily." Kongpob kept his eyes on the road as he upshift the gear.

"Well, he is going to find out anyway. What are you going to do? Why didn't you tell him?"

"There's nothing to do, and nothing really to tell. I didn't plan for him to be there, and when mother asked him to go, he was already a nervous wreck. So, I don't want to make him any more stressed."

"You don't think he will be stressed about you going out on a date with someone else?"

"Well, he shouldn't be. It's really no different than me going on a business dinner with a client."

"Only your business clients aren't interested in you romantically." Nina raised an eyebrow that Kongpob can't see.

"They are not always interested in me."

"Really? Why else would anyone pay to have dinner with you?"

"Well, it won't mean anything if I'm not interested. Come on, let's not make this a big deal." Kongpob shifted in his seat uncomfortably.

"Remember that one time your date pretended to be drunk, and wanted you to stay the night?" Nina argued.

"And I didn't. I had Thak take her into her house."

"What if Arthit bids on you?" Nina smirks as she checks her makeup in her compact mirror.

"Not going to happen. He can't deal with the attention."

"Love and jealousy make people do things."

"He won't. Stop it, will you. Don't tell him nonsense either. I don't want him to start doubting himself. I will explain to him, it's just a regular dinner."

Nina sat back, and kept quiet. She thought to herself, Kongpob is so dumb sometimes. Arthit, you better step up to the plate.

They drove up to the St. Regis Hotel where the event was taking place. There was a long line of cars and limos. When they reached the front, their doors were opened for them. Kongpob stepped out of the car, and his toy was driven away by a valet. He walked over to Nina where the paparazzi was already clicking away.

A lady collected their invite, and announced their names as they approached the top of the entrance where they were asked to pose for the camera.

Kongpob was immediately hounded about his dating status, his upcoming plans for the SuSus Project, and if he thinks he will get a higher bid this year than last since he has been named the number one bachelor of the year. That's right. He is one of the items being auctioned off tonight.

For the past four years, a romantic dinner date with Kongpob Suthilak at one of the most romantic restaurants in town has been up for bidding. This will be his fifth year. Every year his winning bid has gotten higher, and higher. Since Kongpob is a very private person, and generally stays away from the spotlight, many are intrigued to meet the handsome young billionaire. Although, not every dinner has been romantic. The winner of his third year was a businessman. That man simply wanted a chance to meet with Kongpob to sell him a sales pitch since Kongpob wouldn't see him professionally. That was the longest night ever.

Kongpob treated these dinners simply like a dinner with a new friend. He has to eat anyway. Some dates he enjoyed more than others, but he goes the whole nine yard for all of them. From pickup with flowers to dropping off at the doorstep. He has never let anything beyond dinner happen. If he liked any of his dates, he wouldn't hesitate to ask for a second date. However, that hasn't happened before.

Tonight is different though. Because tonight, he is not single like the past. But then again, no one knows about his new relationship. Kongpob had agreed to this before he even met Arthit. So, he must fulfill his obligations even if he didn't want to. Also, he doesn't even think it would be an issue. Because to him, it's really not that different than just having a business dinner with a new client. He would be gone for a few hours at most. Arthit wouldn't even miss him. If his mother didn't invite Arthit to the event, he would have just told Arthit he had a business dinner. And which to him, that's exactly what it was, just business.

~~~~~~
Arthit nervously greeted Sonya upon entering the limo. And just like Kongpob had guessed, Arthit's outfit matched Sonya's black and white gown perfectly. Sonya may already be in her forties, but she was the epitome of grace and elegance. Many have chased her throughout the years after her husband passed away, but she dedicated her life to her only son and her businesses. As her business became more successful, men started to become too intimidated to approach her. But that is more than fine with her. She was tired of men using business as a pretense just to try to get in her pants.
The business world is tough for women, and even tougher for a widow with a failing company that is Siam Polymer. She gave up her dream as a nurse to raise Kongpob. She married Kongpob's father because he was a kind hearted honest man that needed help, and she loved Kongpob the moment he was born because she was close to his biological mother. She had eventually grew to genuinely love and care for Kerklai Suthilak, but their love story ended too soon.
Now, she has no time and no room for romance. Men that met her standards were either too arrogant, or intimidated by her success. The Thai Red Cross's College of Nursing is where Sonya's dream once lived. This charity is meaningful to her because she was once a student that needed financial help for nursing school. Now, it's her turn to help others like her reach their dreams too.
"Arthit, how does your outfit fit? It looks good on you." Sonya asked.
"Thanks. I meant to say, thank you for the outfit. It fits perfectly. You look wonderful too." Arthit answered nervously.
"Thank you. Did Kongpob tell you anything about the charity auction ball?"
"Not much, but I googled it, and found its website. So, I read about it a little."
"Well, here's this year's program." Sonya handed Arthit a thin booklet.
"Thanks."
Arthit is almost grateful to have this booklet to flip through so he doesn't have to make conversation with Sonya.
He opened the cover to the charity organization's mission statement. Then there were a list of sponsors for the event. Then the next couple of pages were this evening's entertainment schedule with the performer's short bio. Arthit slowly read every single word in hopes that time will move faster. Then the next page was tonight's auction listing.
Auction for this evening:
1. Heirloom ruby earrings
2. Vintage Louis Vuitton luggage
3. A five star trip to Zurich
4. A five star trip to New York
5. A foursome golf game at Red Mountain golf course in Phuket
6. A romantic evening with Thailand's number one bachelor Kongpob Suthilak at Bangkok's voted most romantic restaurant Attitude.
7. A photo session with supermodel and Project Runway host Tyra Banks
8. Custom outfit by Davika Fashion
9. Front row tickets to Taylor Swift's concert in Tokyo with flight and two nights stay.
10. Dinner party for four by Thailand's famous celebrity chef Ian Kittichai.
Arthit's eyes almost popped out. Did he read that right? He reread it again.
A romantic evening with Thailand's number one bachelor Kongpob Suthilak at Bangkok's voted most romantic restaurant Attitude.
Kongpob Suthilak, as in his boyfriend Kongpob.
"Is...is this Kongpob listed here?" Arthit asked even though he already knew that's exactly who it was.
"Well, that took a while. Yes, my one and only son. So, what do you think?"
"Uhm, I uh... don't know. Kongpob didn't tell me about this." Arthit looked back down at the small picture of Kongpob's back with his face at a forty five degree angle in black and white facing a window. There's no need for further confirmation. He can recognize Kongpob's back from anywhere.
"Well, Kongpob has been participating for a few years now. It's nothing new, and nothing personal to him. However, that's not always the case for the winning bidder. Some people see this as an opportunity to get close to him." Sonya calmly stated.
Arthit didn't know what to say. What is the appropriate reaction here? Was he upset? Maybe a little. Kongpob could have told him right? He has a right to know right? But does he really? Are they not dating? Ah, that's the thing. No one knows they are dating. They are merely just two roommates fucking. At least people knew he was dating Chet, but with Kongpob, not even Knot his best friend knows. Kongpob has openly introduced him to all those in his life, while Arthit has kept Kongpob as a dirty little secret. So, maybe Kongpob doesn't owe him any explanations at all.
"As long as Kongpob is fine with this arrangement, then it's all good. After all, it's for charity." Arthit told Sonya, but more importantly trying to convince himself.
Sonya internally sighed. What an idiot her son has chosen. She shouldn't have even bothered to get to know this man with no balls.
