Chapter 114

🍍🍍(Mature Content Warning)🍍🍍

Arthit softly grunts and tries to drift back to sleep. After a few more moments had passed he notices the weight on his body. He smiles with his eyes still closed knowing that Kongpob is still in bed with him. It's been weeks since he has woken up with his boyfriend next to him. Kongpob had spent most of yesterday again with Bie and he didn't make it to bed until very late last night. Arthit would be lying if he said he wasn't jealous of all the time Kongpob is spending with his lawyer. But he knows there's a time and a place for everything. And right now is neither one of them.

Then Arthit suddenly wonders why Kongpob is still in bed and he starts to worry. Is Kongpob not feeling well? Even on Sundays Kongpob usually wakes up before him and lately Kongpob hasn't been spending Sundays with him. He gently turns around and looks at his sleeping boyfriend. He still looks devastatingly handsome to Arthit of course but also exhausted. He touches the back of his hand to Kongpob's forehead and it's a bit warm. To make sure he's right, Arthit presses his forehead against Kongpob's. It's what his mother used to do to check his temperature. He confirms that Kongpob has finally stressed himself out to the point of falling sick.

Feeling Arthit move next to him, Kongpob grabs a hold of Arthit's waist and pulls him closer. Catching Arthit by surprise, he smiles and buries his face in the crook of Arthit's neck. He misses Arthit so much. Sometimes he wishes he was a nobody with no responsibilities and he can just run away with Arthit and Popeye. They can live on a remote island where there's nobody and they can just roam around naked. Kongpob chuckles a little thinking maybe in an alternate universe they can be stranded on an island just like that. Hey, he's allowed to be silly sometimes, right?

"Hey." Arthit enjoys this moment of Kongpob cuddling him. It feels like eons even though they sleep together every night. Arthit kisses the side of Kongpob's head and the latter makes his way to face him. As Kongpob's sleepy face comes closer and is just about to press against his lips, Arthit quickly blocks his mouth with his palm.

"You have a fever." Arthit chuckles and says to a now frowning Kongpob. Then he kisses the top of Kongpob's head instead.

Kongpob nods and removes Arthit's hand from his mouth. He does feel a bit sluggish he supposes. But then he smirks at Arthit with a bit of mischief in his eyes.

"Fine. No kissing." Kongpob reaches inside of Arthit's boxers and strokes the semi-hardened morning wood.

"Uh? Kong...pob...pob...ah." Arthit gasps and moans.

Kongpob smiles with satisfaction that his touch is giving Arthit so much pleasure. He pushes Arthit's boxers down and goes under the sheets.

"Kong...no...you...need rest. No...ahhh." Arthit fails to form any coherent sentences. Kongpob's literal overheated mouth wrapped tightly around his hard length is too hard to resist. Kongpob wastes no time and takes him deeper and deeper until he hits the back of Kongpob's throat. He scrunches his pillow as he bucks his hips trying to reach even deeper. Kongpob pulls on his balls while plunging up and down his dick. They haven't had sex in a while, so it doesn't take much to tip Arthit over. Arthit feels close to reaching his orgasm already, but Kongpob wraps his thumb and forefinger tightly at the base of Arthit's dick to keep him from coming. Ugh! Then Kongpob bobs slower yet tighter around his now throbbing length.

"Kong...fuck." Arthit grabs a fistful of Kongpob's hair and urges him to go faster again as he tries to control his writhing.

"Mmmm..." Kongpob then hums around Arthit's dick creating a sensual vibration driving him further into this carnal bliss that reduces him to a moaning mess.

Kongpob then purses his lips making sure to wrap around his teeth as he languidly plunges all the way down one more time, and then pulls all the way back with his tongue tracing along Arthit's thick vein, all the while still tightly gripping the base of Arthit's dick. Then he quickens his bobbing and Arthit's legs start trembling beside his shoulders.

"Kong...I'm coming...I wanna...come." Arthit can't hold on any longer. He feels like exploding. If it weren't for Kongpob holding the base of his dick, he would have come already.

Kongpob finally releases his grip around the base of Arthit's dick and starts pumping and bobbing together. Arthit immediately comes and his body shivers as he empties completely into Kongpob's mouth.

After calming down a bit, Arthit pulls Kongpob back up and slaps his chest. "You shouldn't have done that. You're overexerting yourself."

Kongpob laughs and pulls Arthit in for a tight hug. "I'm sure I'll live. I want to take you somewhere today."

"Oh, so that's why you stayed. But we're not going anywhere unless you feel better." Arthit chides.

"I'm sure I'm already better now that I've had a dose of Arthit."

"Eww... you're gross and cheesy. Now rest a little more. I'll go make breakfast so you can eat something before taking your medicine."

"Don't you want to go to Nina's?" Kongpob whines, swinging Arthit's hand as the latter tries to get out of bed.

"Like I said, we're going nowhere until you feel better. If your fever comes down, then we can talk." Arthit kisses Kongpob's forehead and puts his boxers back on.

"Arthit, I think I'm feeling much better now. Can you check my temperature again?" Kongpob hollers from the couch. Popeye is curled up next to him under the blanket that Arthit insisted he uses. On top of that, Arthit made him wear a shirt at home. It's outrageous.

"I just checked thirty minutes ago. It was still 39." Arthit comes over with the thermometer again. Kongpob took his medicine three hours ago but his fever hasn't budged. Even though it's a low-grade fever it's still a sign of his body's protest against all the stress. Arthit really wants Kongpob to just stay put and relax before going back to work tomorrow. But Kongpob seems determined to go out today.

Arthit swipes the thermometer across Kongpob's forehead and it was surprisingly much lower. It's now only 37.5 celsius. Arthit frowns looking at the thermometer. He really doesn't want to let Kongpob go out but he can't go back on his words. He promised that they would go out if Kongpob's temperature drops below 38 celsius.

Kongpob takes the thermometer from Arthit and looks for himself. He immediately removes the blanket and Popeye whines at the sudden commotion disturbing his nap.

"Yes! I'm going to change. You get ready too." Kongpob kisses Arthit on the cheek and dashes to the bedroom.

Even though Arthit doesn't want to let Kongpob go out, he can't help smiling seeing Kongpob's enthusiasm. Kongpob won't tell him where he wants to take him but hopefully, it's a good surprise.

"Kongpob, what are we doing here?" Waking up, Arthit rubs his eyes to look out the window as they drive further into a cemetery.

"I want to introduce you to someone." Kongpob smiles. He has never brought anyone here before.

After they parked the car, Kongpob pulls out two bouquets of flowers from the trunk. One bouquet was long stem white calla lilies and the other a big bouquet of purple iris. Arthit's surprised again. Kongpob must have bought them when he was asleep in the car.

"Come on." Kongpob offers his hand.

Arthit looks around and he's not sure it's a good idea to hold hands here but he doesn't want to leave Kongpob hanging so he takes it anyway. They still had to walk a bit from where they parked the car. This cemetery is quite peaceful and well kept compared to any Arthit has ever been to.

Then they finally came to a stop in front of a pair of matching graves. One says Kerklai Suthilak and the other Lyla Ruangroj. The two graves were overflowing with flowers.

Kongpob squeezed Arthit's hand before letting go. He places the white calla lilies in front of his father and the purple iris in front of his mother. Then he wais to both of them. He usually likes to come alone so he can speak his mind to his parents. But he feels it's about time to introduce Arthit to them.

"Kongpob, why didn't you tell me? I would have dressed up nicer." Arthit grumbles, and then wais with a smile to Kongpob's father and mother.

"Don't worry. You look great. If you look any nicer I might not be able to control myself. And we don't want to do that in front of my parents now, do you?" Kongpob chuckles.

Arthit blushes. You would think he'd be used to Kongpob and his shamelessness by now, but nope. Not even close.

"Mother, Father, how are you two doing? Father, it's been exactly ten years since you've been gone. I still miss you every day. I'm sorry I couldn't come earlier as I'm a little under the weather. I hope you two weren't waiting for too long. I see that Mom (Sonya) and everyone else came already. I hope you guys had fun catching up with everyone earlier. Today, I want you two to meet someone special to me. His name is Arthit Ronajpat. He's my boyfriend. He's a year younger than me. He's cute and handsome as you can see. He's also a really good cook. I've gained so much weight from all his delicious food. He's really smart and kind too. I hope you two like him. And yes, Mom approves of us. Don't worry."

Arthit nervously tugs on Kongpob's sleeve. He turns away and whispers in Kongpob's ear, "Kongpob, what if they don't approve of me? I'm a guy you know."

"Of course I know and they know you're a guy. We're not blind. And it's not like they can separate us. At least not physically. Besides, I've already told them that Mom approves of us. If they love me, then they will support us too."

"Why are you speaking so loud?" Arthit lowers his voice even more.

"So that they can hear me of course." Kongpob chuckles at his silly boyfriend and ruffles his hair.

Kongpob notices two perfect dandelions laying on each grave. He takes a deep breath and then kneels in front of his father's grave. Arthit doesn't know what Kongpob is doing but he follows suit and kneels beside his boyfriend.

"Father, I'm sorry for disappointing you. I've failed. I've made an unforgivable mistake and now a child has been left orphaned. A company was violating the rules right under my nose and I didn't even know. Now a man is dead and his child is left behind. What should I do?"

Arthit's eyes went wide. This is the first time Arthit is hearing about an orphaned child. Arthit continues to listen quietly beside Kongpob but he has many questions at this point. However, he doesn't want to interrupt Kongpob talking to his father so he remains quiet. After Kongpob goes into detail about what happened to the victim and how he picked up the child from the slums, Arthit really wants to smack Kongpob to wake the latter up from all this self-blaming. It has gone far enough and he really needs to talk some sense into him. He's already falling sick and now he's blaming himself even more over a child. If this goes on, who knows what Kongpob is going to turn into.

Kongpob picks up one of the dandelions. "I think you two may have met the child already. His name is Kamron. He's very quiet and shy. Do you two like him?"

Arthit is afraid where this conversation is going and he doesn't dare to ask. They spend a little more time at the cemetery. And Arthit helped arrange all the flowers neatly before leaving.

This time Arthit isn't surprised at all when they pull into Sonya's driveway. He already knows the little child is currently staying with Sonya, and he hopes it stays that way. Maybe Sonya enjoys the company. He really hopes that's the case. Arthit wouldn't want the child to really end up in the orphanage. And according to what Kongpob said about the child not having proper documents, he's not even sure if the child qualifies to stay in Thailand. But where can a lonely four years old go by himself? How can he survive? So Arthit really hopes Bie can come through and maybe pull some strings through the Ruangroj family and get the child some legal immigration documents.

"Kongpob, Arthit, come here and taste my sauce." Sonya scoops a spoonful of her curry sauce and hands it to the two men. Sonya is so happy to see them. They haven't had dinner together in a while.

Kongpob tastes a little and feeds the rest to Arthit. "It's really good, Mom."

"Yeah, it's delicious as always," Arthit adds.

"I know you two are just saying what I want to hear, but I'm okay with that since you two will have to eat it all. So if it's bad, you two will suffer the consequences." Sonya smirks and scoops the curry into a serving dish.

"Where's the child? Has his stay been okay?" Kongpob asks, peering out to the garden through the set of French doors.

"Kamron is in his room, or what was the guest room on the opposite end from my room. He's really quiet so it's okay for the time being. He's doing brain puzzles I gave him. He wasn't interested in the iPad I showed him." Sonya says as she continues to prepare other dishes.

"Brain puzzles? What are those?" Arthit asks out of curiosity.

"They're wooden puzzles like Rubik's cube, but there are many other ones too. He solved two yesterday. Mind you, he's only four. So he's pretty smart."

"Has he spoken to you?" Kongpob asks his mother in obvious concern. He has yet to hear the child utter a word.

"Yes, but not to me. He hasn't spoken a single word to me. But I overheard him speaking softly to Roary but it could have just been sounds he was making. I couldn't make out actual words."

"Who's Roary?" Arthit asks, looking between the mother and son pair.

Sonya smiles at Arthit. "When Kongpob was about four years old, around Kamron's age, he asked me to give him a brother or sister so he would have someone to play with. At the time I had tried everything already, and it just wasn't meant to be. So I bought him a stuffed lion hand-puppet, and he named it Roary. Kongpob used to be so attached to Roary. And since I don't have any toys here, I let Kamron in Kongpob's room to take a few of his old ones. I hope you don't mind, baby."

"Of course I don't."

"And you made fun of Teddy." Arthit narrows his eyes at his boyfriend.

"It's because of Teddy's name and not because you had a stuffed toy. Anyway, let's go see Kamron."

Arthit lets Kongpob pull him along by the hand. He's a little anxious as they approach the guest room where Kamron is staying. Arthit hasn't been around kids very much. Kongpob smiles at him, and he kind of just wants to take Kongpob home right now. Kongpob softly knocks on the door but no one responds. So Kongpob slowly opens the door. They were instantly met with a pair of eyes staring at them as they stood by the doorway. The little boy is sitting on the floor with a few wooden puzzles like Sonya had said.

"Hello Kamron, I'm here to visit you. I've brought my boyfriend too. He's Arthit."

Arthit elbows Kongpob in the ribs. "You shouldn't introduce me like that."

"Ouuu... where's the lie though?" Kongpob chuckles.

The child doesn't understand what the two men are doing or saying. He tightens his grip around the stuffed lion as they come closer. They keep talking to him and ask him a bunch of questions. He only understands about half of what they are saying but he doesn't reply back. He promised his baba that he won't speak to strangers.

"Oh, there's a little tear on Roary. That needs to be fixed before the tear gets bigger." Kongpob plucks the stuffed lion from Kamron's hold.

"还给我!" (give it back to me) Kamron takes the stuffed lion back.

Kongpob is surprised and he smiles at the child. He finally hears the child speak. Kongpob is fluent in Mandarin so he explains to Kamron that the stuffed lion needs to be repaired. Kamron nods and hands the stuffed lion over. Kongpob continues to probe and speak in Mandarin for a while. And soon Kamron starts responding.

Arthit doesn't understand what Kongpob and Kamron are saying so he only smiles. He then picks up one of the wooden puzzles and tries to solve it while the two continue to chat. The puzzle is actually quite challenging.

Little Kamron tells Kongpob that he's not allowed to speak to strangers and his baba says it's safer to speak in Mandarin. Kongpob then explains to him that he is no longer in danger and everyone just wants to play with him. Kamron smiles and then he starts speaking in Thai.

Arthit immediately looks up hearing the conversation switch back to Thai. Kongpob grabs Arthit's hand and tells Kamron that Arthit really is his boyfriend. Arthit blushes and nods in admission. He doesn't know what they were talking about before but Kamron's bright smile is very suspicious. Did Kongpob say something ridiculous again?

Kongpob explains to Kamron that he doesn't have to worry about bad people here. He will make sure Kamron is safe and can go to school to learn and play with other kids. Then Kongpob asks if Kamron likes staying here with his Mom. Then Kamron shakes his head and looks down at the floor. He tells Kongpob and Arthit that he knows his baba is in heaven now with his mama and he wishes to go see them. Auntie Paweenut told him that someday he will get to go to heaven and see them but only if he's a good boy.

Arthit can see the look of guilt on Kongpob's face. It's not that Arthit doesn't feel bad for the poor child and his situation. But enough is enough. Tonight, when they get home, Arthit is going to set Kongpob straight. Kongpob can and should continue to help little Kamron because it's the right thing to do but he needs to stop blaming himself for this tragedy.

AN: Sweets, here's this week's update. It's a bit of a filler. I love reading all the speculations about what will happen to little Kamron. 🤗
