Here's your author speaking with more bonus content. I present you today with a new piano piece by DarkMinstrel, the best husband ever, called Crimson Waves - Dirge, based on the third poem of this collection. Since the poem itself was inspired by the gothic short story The Maggies by Nyhterides this is a really wonderful example of how art can inspire more art and how creativity flows in its own magical way.

Be warned though, this is naturally a much darker and gloomier piece than the Fallen Petals Waltz, as it deals with the topics of death, loss and madness.

t h r e e

darkness flies backwards
reversing to light
pulling along the
ghosts
of my life

grey stones I feed
to the bottomless sea
hoping for the
blue
to return to me

yet crimson waves
are my only reward
the bleeding
tears
of my guilty heart
