"Hey there." A brunette made the blonde jump out of her skin, holding her chest where her heart is.

"Holy shit you scared me!" The brunette laughed, her feathered wings flapping happily.

"Sorry bout that!" Caroline stared at the girl's wings in disbelief, somethings not adding up in her head.

"No offense, but what are you?" She asked.

"None taken! I'm a fallen angel. Have been for seven years now." Caroline's eyes widened more and she almost yelled.

"Am I dead!?"

"Well....."

"EXCUSE A FUCKING MOI!!?" The brunette slapped her hand over the blonde's mouth, bringing her into her house.

"No, you're not dead. We're still alive on Earth. But we have wings and powers to control the weather and time. Happy with your explanation?"
Caroline nodded and smiled gently.

"My name's Caroline. You?"

"Naomi." The two shook hands and smiled at each other.

Oh how I wish it was that easy for the others.
