New Enemies and "War"

(I was thinking about the age difference between Izuku and Co. and I felt the need to list the oldest to the youngest so people knew who was oldest. They are all currently 15 years old.

1. Papyrus & Sans: May 5th
2. Izuku: July 15th
3. Asriel: August 18th

So yeah, Sans and Papyrus are twins but I'm making Sans older by a few minutes cuz he needs to have the role of "big brother". I probably should've explained this sooner, but here ya go. :)

Anyway, let's get to the story, shall we?)

----------------------------------------------------------

(Nobody POV)

The day had finally come to an end and the students were packing up to leave when Uraraka squealed in surprise. "Wh...wh-what's going on?!" she shouted. The students turned their attention to the door which was currently blocked by a herd of students. Ilda turned to them, stiff as always, "What business do you have with 1-A?" he asked, chopping his hands. "D-do you need something?" Asriel stuttered, making a few students in the crowd turn a bright red.

'AN ANGEL?!' they all thought simultaneously.

Bakugou - who Izuku had almost, once again, forgotten existed - stormed towards the front of the classroom not fazed by the commotion in the slightest. "They're scouting out the enemy, dumbass," Bakugou stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the universe. "THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL MY BABY BROTHER?!" Izuku shouted in rage while Asriel puffed his cheeks into a childish pout, once again flustering all the students from his sheer cuteness. "We survived a villain attack so they're here to size up the enemy," he continued. "HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Izuku yelled, still demanding an apology that would probably never come.

(Izuku POV)

"Move it, extras!" Bakugou 'threatened', ruby-red eyes glaring at the crowd. "Stop calling people 'extras' just because you don't know them!" Ilda reprimanded. "I came here to see what the famous class 1-A was like, but you guys seem pretty arrogant. Are all the hero course students like this?" a purple-haired insomniac stated, slowly making his way through the crowd.

'Okay, first Bakugou, now this guy?! What's with people insulting my brother today?!' I thought, holding back the urge to punch both of them. "Did you know that there are quite a few people who are in Gen Ed because they couldn't make it into the hero course? Those of us who didn't make it have a chance to be transferred into the hero course based on our performance," he explained, scratching the back of his head while wearing a face that could rival Aizawa's. "And they can also transfer people out of the hero course for that very same reason," he continued.

"I came here to say that even if you're in the hero course if you keep being cocky, I'll knock you off your feet. This is a declaration of war." he proclaimed in a menacing tone.

I lost my cool when he said "war". I was already working my ass off just to keep the peace between the monsters and humans stable, and now I have to keep the peace between my class and the rest of the school? I was not happy. Not. At. All. I shoved Bakugou out of the way, receiving a curse out of him, and stood face to face with this jerk. "Alright first off, this is our class bully, so just ignore everything he says," I said, pointing to the now screeching pomeranian. "Second, what gives you the right to call us, especially my brother, "arrogant" when you don't even know anything about us? You're not a judge, so stop pretending that you are," I said, scolding his careless and rude behavior.

"And lastly, if you want to declare war, always know your enemy's abilities. I may be the ambassador of monsters, but I am still just a quirkless child, and I am given no respect or authority of any kind because of this. To the humans, I'm just another punching bag that they can use for their own amusement. If that's what I am to you, then you made the greatest mistake by underestimating me. I'll make sure you eat those words, ya hear?" I said in an equally menacing tone.

"My current standpoint as the ambassador is doing everything I can to prevent a war. You coming to my territory and declaring war on my class isn't helping me, or anyone else for that matter, so at least pretend to play nice when challenging someone. Got all that?" I said, hoping he would understand and back off, which he did. No longer feeling threatened by this purple brat, I turned to Asriel and offered my hand. "C'mon Azzy, let's go home." He nodded and grabbed my hand, leaving the classroom alongside me.

"Hey, Hey!" a silver-haired boy(?) screamed. "I'm from class B next door! I heard you fought villains so I came here to talk about it! Don't get so full of yourself!" he yelled. I just kept walking, ignoring the rude person. 'Stars, I'm so tired. I can't wait to turn in this report and go to sleep,' I thought to myself as the boy loudly complained about us ignoring him. I just grabbed Azzy's hand tighter and speed-walked through the crowd, trying to get home as fast as I could.

----------------------------------------------------------

(??? POV)

'Wow, he sure has it rough huh?'. When I first saw the green-haired boy in class A, I knew that he was an official from the news, but I didn't know he was quirkless. Hearing his struggles made me feel bad for judging him. He kind of reminds me of the quirkless girl back in my middle school. I heard that she moved to Newer Home, so I guess she's okay now. The girl had a little brother with a villainous quirk and she always stood up for him anytime he got bullied. She turned herself into a punching bag to protect her little brother, but that didn't mean she couldn't fight back. She was anything but weak.

I met her when she scared away one of his weaker bullies, one with a weak quirk. Sometimes she would play negotiator whenever her brother got something taken from him and usually, she got his stuff back. If they didn't give it back, she would steal it from them and find a way to frame them for starting a fight with a quirked child who had a crush on her. She was really cute, after all, so she got away with a few things here and there, or whenever she could really.

It was like watching her and her little brother leave for Newer Home all over again... and I don't think I mind that. Maybe I can ask him if she remembers me. I doubt she'd remember someone like me anyway. Besides, even if she did, she'd probably be disappointed in me. She was always one to protect the peace, and here I am picking fights. If I'm gonna be a hero, I need to be more like her...

I need to be like him.

----------------------------------------------------------

(Nobody POV)

Class 1-A were given training ground Beta to practice everyone's quirks. Sero was swinging around the rafters with his tape like Spiderman. Uraraka and Mina had paired up for their training, Uraraka was making debris float while Mina melted the moving targets. Aoyama joined in by blasting the last couple of debris, only for a piece to land on his head while he was posing. Izuku and Asriel were sitting next to Kota while he was connecting to nature, all having a good time... that was until Sato scared off the animals by rapidly punching a nearby tree.

The Dreemurs offered to help look for a more quiet spot.

Kirishima was jumping off buildings while activating his quirk and yelling loudly every time he landed. Off in the distant woods, a loud explosion could be heard, this was Bakugou's doing. Kaminari was letting off steady streams of electricity, barely keeping himself from becoming an idiot.

When it got dark and the students went home was when other students trained the hardest. Tokoyami went to a stadium to shine floodlights at Dark Shadow to increase his durability to light. Jirou was playing darts with her earlobes, practicing her balance and aim. Yaoyorozu was studying chemistry books. Todoroki was doing physical training in his backyard. Izuku and Asriel were training with Undyne until Toriel told them to call it a day.

. . .

Time passed by in the blink of an eye and the day of the sports festival had arrived. Asriel could be seen waiting at the front door as his brother was tying his favorite red boots. Izuku had grown out of his old ones a long time ago, but on Izuku's 10th birthday, Papyrus gave him a new pair that looked like a smaller version of Papyrus's red boots. They were really similar to his old ones. Classic red boots that rose up to his mid-thigh. Luckily he grew into them and they now rest just above his ankles. Now Izuku won't go outside without them on. Sans gave him some fuzzy green slippers, referencing his pink ones, as a joke but Izuku loves them and wears them around the house to this day. Sans smiles every time he sees Izuku wearing them.

Back to our protagonists, Izuku had finished tying his shoes and picked up his yellow backpack with a golden flower keychain. Toriel got it for him when he and Asriel started school at the lab. She even gave Asriel a matching bag and chain. They have used them ever since and even use them at UA. The woman herself was seen standing behind them with her husband at her side watching them get ready. "Children, be careful not to get hurt, alright?" Toriel told them. "Okay, Mom!" they both said at the same time. "Do your best!' Asgore cheered. Asriel and Izuku turned to face their parents and gave them a bright smile. "We're off!" they said, once again racing to school.

People walking to work and school were heard shouting "good luck" and "do your best" all the way to the edge of New Home. When they got there, they discovered that humans weren't the only ones attending. Some of the monsters that they hadn't seen in Newer Home were at the festival! Walking amongst the crowd were monsters of all shapes and sizes. Even Mettaton and Co. were there! They were holding a small concert while everyone waited for the games to begin so people didn't get bored. Muffet and Grillby had even set up their own stalls, though it seemed like they were having another personal competition between themselves.

There was food, games, hero merch, and all sorts of other things to look at and buy. The two young Dreemurs decided that since the festival wouldn't start for a while so they would go around trying out as many stalls as they could. They even dropped by Mettaton to say hi and got some food from Muffet and Grillby. Those who had already gotten their food and merch were shuffling into the stadium to wait for the tournament to begin.

The Dreemur children decided to have a bit more fun before going to the participant waiting room and getting changed into their gym clothes. The other students of 1-A were chatting in the waiting room, getting excited about the event. Suddenly, the door slammed open to reveal the beloved class rep, Ilda. "Everyone! Are you ready?" He asked. The brothers nodded their heads in confirmation, making Ilda smile in response.

"Dreemur," Todoroki called. Both Dreemurs turned their heads in response, "Yes?" they both said at the same time. Todoroki twitched and grumbled under his breath about being an idiot while a couple of students snickered. "...The green one," he said. "Oh, just call me Izuku. It'll make it easier on you," Izuku suggested. "Right... well... looking at things objectively, you're far stronger than me," Todoroki explained. The Dreemurs tilted their heads to the side a little, and a few of the girls giggled about them being true brothers. "But I'm going to beat you."

"Woah, number 3 is declaring war?" Kaminari joked. "Hey, Hey, hey. Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?" Kirishima asked, resting his hand on Todoroki's should in an attempt to ease the tension, raising Izuku's respect for the red-haired shark boy immensely. "Not now, we're about to start," he continued, pleading for Todoroki to back off. Todoroki just shrugged him off and walked away. "That doesn't matter," he calmly stated. Izuku just shook his head with a sigh. "Well, I don't know why you wanted to pick a fight with me of all people, but I wish you the best of luck, Todoroki."

----------------------------------------------------------

(OH. MY. GOSH. I had so little motivation, but at least I got this one done. I feel kinda bad for leaving it untouched for so long, sorry about that. I've been drawing a bit. Thinking about drawing a funny scene of Gaster strangling Mineta and asking Nezu if he can experiment on him.

Now with that out of the way, thanks for reading everyone!)
