Internships: Part 2
(^^^ When you get so addicted to the Undertale soundtrack that you play it on repeat for days:
So yeah, this is the stuff I listen to when I wanna feel calm or focused. Mainly when I'm playing Minecraft or writing, but it helps regardless. I also listen to it when I sleep sometimes.
I have shared my love of Undertale vibes with you, and I'll gladly do it again. The next filler chapter is getting my fav version of Home.)

(Nobody POV)
Katsuki Bakugou had gone to Pro Hero: Best Jeanist's agency, merely due to the fact that he was the number 4 hero. The reason why he wasn't in the top 3 was mainly because of his destructive quirk and awful temper. All Might would not correlate with him, as he was a strength-based hero and was known for his kindness, neither of which matched Katsuki's profile. Endeavor, the number 2 hero, had a fire quirk and was equally as prideful as Bakugou, but that was exactly why they wouldn't match. Endeavor didn't want an intern who wouldn't cooperate with him, nor did he want such a hothead anywhere near his office. That would only end in destruction. Hawks had the same reasoning as Endeavor to not take Bakugou, but luckily for him, he had already chosen the Dreemur's and wasn't allowed any more than two interns. So here Bakugou was, standing in front of this denim-loving weirdo.
Best Jeanist was leaning on his desk, somehow pulling off an elegant impression. "Frankly, I don't like you," he finally spoke. "Hah?" Best jeanist rose from his desk to pose dramatically. "You chose my agency because I'm one of the top five most popular heroes, right?" he asked. "You're the one that put in an offer!" Bakugou growled. Best Jeanist put his finger to his chin. "Yeah. Recently, I've only been getting good little kids, so you were the first one in a while to strike a chord."
"I saw you at the sports festival," he said. "You were able to freely manipulate your quirk with high intensity, and had a good grasp of application as well. You have the outstanding talent already good enough to recruit as a sidekick. However, you have one fatal flaw. You believe yourself to be the strongest, and try to put that into practice not caring how it looks," he explained, pausing for a moment before continuing. "You have a ferocious nature," he claimed.
Bakugou was livid, to say the least. He was offered a spot by the number 4 pro hero, and he gets insulted, right off the bat? He was not about to let that happen. With an angry glare, he marched towards Best Jeanist, his aura threatening to explode any minute. "Did you choose me to give me a lecture-" he began, but his tantrum was abruptly interrupted by the feeling of being tightly wrapped in thin strings. Best Jeanist's quirk was string manipulation, hence why he was dressed head to toe in denim, to the point where his hero costume barely even showed half his face. He designed his hero costume to have plenty of strong materials directly at his disposal. Unfortunately, he looked absolutely ridiculous, yet charming at the same time, so it was hard to take him seriously unless he was threatening someone like he was to Bakugou right now.
"It is part of my job as a hero to correct people like you. Heroes and villains are two sides of the same coin. I'll show those glaring eyes of yours what makes someone a hero." he said cooly. "What are you trying to do?" Bakugou challenged. "Isn't it obvious? I'm educating you to become an exemplary hero," Best Jeanist replied. "The way you speak, your appearance, controlling your emotions, enforcing your morals... there are countless things to do. In the short period of a week, I will sew all of that into your body," he declared.
Bakugou only glared back at him.
. . .
Eijiro Kirishima and TetsuTestu TestuTetsu - Yes that's his real name - had both been offered a spot in the Fourth Kind agency. Their similar quirks, similar mindset, and similar appearance were very amusing, but the reason Fourth Kind had offered them an internship was their spirit. "I saw your guts at the sports festival. I like you two. However, being a hero's not so easy that you can rely on brute force alone. I will teach you that as someone with more experience." he declared. The two boys smiled in excitement.
"As expected of the Chivalrous Hero!" TetsuTetsu cheered. "So manly!" Kirishima complimented.
"Let me finish!" Fourth Kind demanded, slamming one of his hands on the table. "S- Sorry!" they yelled in sync. "I'll teach you manners properly, too," he commented. "Thank you very much!" they yelled. Was this creepy or funny? He'd never know, but regardless, Fourth Kind would never let either feeling show. "First, I'll tell you the major premise. Pro heroes receive wages from the government, so we are civil servants, but because of how this came about, civil servants and pro heroes are very different. Regarding the actual duties of a pro hero..."
. . .
Tenya Ilda, who had applied for Pro Hero: Manual's agency in Hosu, had just gone on a simple patrol. Ever since Stain had started attacking heroes in that area, more villains came out of the shadows. Now that heroes were dropping like flies, the villains were getting bolder and attacking more frequently. This, in turn, meant that the heroes had to patrol more often to instill a sense of safety into the civilians while also keeping the villains in check.
It was only a matter of time before Tenya would claim vengeance on his brother for what Stain did to him. The Hero Killer laid down a killing pattern after all, so it was easy to tell that Stain would be in Hosu. Stain would kill seven heroes in whatever city he was in, move districts, kill seven more, and then repeat. Stain had attacked a total of six heroes in Hosu so far, so that meant that he would kill one more hero before moving again. This is exactly why Tenya had gone to Manual's agency in Hosu because he knew that Stain would be here. This was his only chance of getting revenge, and he didn't want to let it slip away.
. . .
"Basic hero duties involve controlling crime, see? When villains arrive, the heroes will call for support. The requests will come all at once by district, see? We file reports on the services we provided, like assisting with arrests or rescuing people, to the government office. And then, we receive pay based on an examination conducted by a special agency. We usually get a percentage," Gun Head explained.
Uraraka had applied for Pro Hero: Gun Head's agency, as they were known for up-close combat and Uraraka had decided to learn how to fight without her quirk, because she understood that she was relying on it way too much and needed to learn something that could help expand her abilities. The only problem she was having at the moment with all of her training and lessons was how cute the pro hero was. The way he acted was cute, the way he talked was cute, he was just cute in general, and it was a tad distracting for her. She was too busy cherishing this adorable man to even pay attention to his lectures and advice, but she did her best to listen and learn what she could.
. . .
Momo Youyorozu and Itsuka Kendo had been offered by the Snake Hero: Uwabami. Uwabami was a hero celebrity and had her own fashion franchise with plenty of merch, and films, and was often seen in model magazines. She was popular for her beauty, which is unfortunately why they were chosen to intern with her. They were chosen for the mere fact of them being "cute".
Class A had already claimed Momo to be the most beautiful girl in class because she often held herself to be the perfect role model in every way. He grades were perfect, her looks were perfect, and her persona was perfect. Which was why she was chosen as the vice president of her class. She was basically the female icon of respect and responsibility, while simultaneously being the example of what a female "should be" in the eyes of the majority. It was a stressful position, that's for sure. The same went for Itsuka and Class B. Both girls were basically the class mom at this point because they were usually keeping the chaos that their classmates caused under control. Or at least, managed to the best of their abilities.
However, these abilities and roles seemed to have been their downfall, as it was the sole reason they were chosen by Uwabami. Beauty and responsibility.
. . .
The other students that had gotten offers from other popular pro heroes had been given training that pertained to their quirks and abilities. Tsuyu had gone to train under Selkie, the Seal Hero. He was a rescue hero who worked in the water. She had chosen the agency because she had a frog quirk, but they just did a bunch of Navy training, not that she minded of course. Shoto had taken the offer from his father to have more control over his fire, though he had to make it clear that he had no intentions of following any path that Endeavor paved. But there were others who got the exact opposite, similar to Uraraka and Gun Head. Jiirou had gone to train under Death Arms, though her training was a tad more physical than she bargained for.
So, in short, the first day of the internships was going great.

(So that's it for this chapter and I'll see you in the next one.
Now if you'll excuse me, my back hurts from sitting on a wooden chair for five hours. Remember to have good posture everyone, or you'll end up in pain like me. LOL
As always, thank you all for reading!)
