" I really didn't expect an apology from her. " I spoke siting in the car. " Unexpected. " He said scrolling through his phone and I nodded. " So, what have you thought next? " He asked keeping the phone aside.

" I don't know. I just said I need some time. " I said looking out of the window when the car started. " And you also don't need to do anything. She herself will come to you. " He said.

" And how do you know that? She is so rude! " I asked him and he smiled. " Do you think she would have apologized to you if she was rude? " He questioned me and I had nothing to speak.

" Right. So all I have to do is wait. Isn't it? Love guru? " He gave me a sarcastic smile. " And if this love guru wouldn't have been here you would have already been on her haters list. "

He reminded and I rolled my eyes at him. " Go to hell, Cabir. " I prayed silently. " Ofcourse taking you with me. " He winked and I sighed.

I had reached my office soon after meeting Nandini. I have alot of work to complete for which my assistant was helping me with when there was a call on the telecom.

My attention went to the call as I picked it up. " Sir Miss Murthy wants to meet you. Should I send her in? " The receptionist asked from the other side. I thought for a second before answering her to let her in.

" Ah..Dev you can leave now I will call you later. " I told my assistant and he nodded getting up from his place as he left.

I don't know why she is here. It has just been a hour since we last met. I thought when there was a knock on the door indicating she was here.

The car stopped infront of the Malhotra Industries when the chauffeur opened the door for me and I moved out removing my sun glasses as I looked up at the tall building.

Texting Navya that I had reached here I walked over to the receptionist who was fixing her already caked up face with more makeup. " Umm..can you tell me is Manik in his cabin? "

I asked trying not to show how displeased I was with the lady, showing off her cleavage way to much that the shirt could burst out open with any little force.

Keeping her mirror down on the table with a sound she forced a smile and replied. " Yes he is but let me ask him if he is busy or not. " Her eyes stayed on me as she dialed on the telecom making me sigh in relief.

It wasn't the first time I came to his office and he had informed his staff to let me in whenever I want, just to impress me for which I had to see no more of her drama.

" Ma'am you can go in. " She spoke, literally forcing those words out of her mouth as I grabbed my bag and headed towards Manik's cabin.

Soon after when Manik had left I had called Navya to talk to her about my meeting with him. It wasn't me, it wasn't the person I was when I spoke ill of his sister and I really wanted to apologise but then it reminded me that Manik likes me.

And that time I needed some one's help and that someone was my best friend, Navya! She too wasn't pleased the way I behaved with his sister and asked me to apologise to him and ask him to be my friend.

People may think I am rude but it is not how we see. Thinking that Navya is right and speaking ill of someone isn't my thing I decided to apologise to him but that boy said he needs time.

So Navya came up with another plan to ask him out where we all can meet with his friends and mine at a club. I was really hoping he would say yes and we could start over with us being friends.

With this thought I knocked up at his cabin's door to hear his usual cold voice " Come in, Nandini. "
