" I am really sorry for what happened in the lounge. I know I am really clumsy but.. " I smiled seeing her innocence as she apologized to me. Her pretty eyes, her small button nose and her kissable lips are so perfect.

She like her name is pretty and adorable. " It's absolutely okay Ms. Nandini. " I assured her as I stuffed my hands in the pocket. She stared at me for a few minutes and heaved sigh then passed me her wide smile.

That was breath taking. I would love to see this face and smile everyday in morning. " I hope you're coming for the party, tomorrow? " She asked me and I nodded, stirring my coffee as I kept staring at her making her shy.

" I really liked the way you gave the presentation. " I complimented her as I took a sip and she smiled. " Thanks. " She again looked down as she stared at her lap. Currently, we are at the cafeteria in the office having a coffee.

" Wait, am I making you uncomfortable Ms. Nandini? " I questioned and she shook her head immediately. " No.. no of course not. Actually I am just nervous. " She spoke making me frown. " There isn't a thing to get nervous. Can't we be informal? Can't we be friends? "

I asked getting a little sad. " I thought we were already friends. " She winked at me making me laugh. It is the first time a girl made me laugh. " Okay so Dear friend tell me something about you. "

I asked and she nodded. "l don't know what to tell. You ask me whatever you want to. " She asked and I nodded. " What about boyfriend? " I asked her.

" Umm.. no. I would first prefer achieving my goals and I don't wanna attach to feelings so soon. And of course not ready for heart breaks. " She replied in her sweet voice making me smile.

" And what about you, Manik? Any girlfriend? " She asked me and I shook my head. " Strange, A handsome man like you and single. " She teased me and I smirked. " What if I apply the same to you? "

I asked her making her blush. We continued to talk for some minutes until her phone rang and she excused herself. She stood beside the huge glass window as I watched her talk on the phone. I felt a little curious to know about the caller as she laughed on the phone.

Soon enough she returned back and sat back on her place. " I am really sorry Manik but I need to leave now. Actually my friend Navya needs me. " She apologized as she got up from her seat. " It's absolutely fine. So, I'll meet you tomorrow in the party. "

We shook hands and then she left. Though I felt a little sad of her leaving but who was I to stop her?

" So how was your date? " I asked him as soon as he entered the house and he glared at me making me giggle. " Oh so my son went for a date. I see. " Mom teased him and he flushed. " Mom, I didn't want to hurt her so I went. "

He replied to her and she kissed him cheek making him smile. " So Nandini you tell. " He asked me and I frowned. " What about me? " I looked at him as I closed the book and removed my glasses.

" Manik. Our partner. He looked quite interested in you. " He smirked at me and his statement grabbed Dad's attention. " Nandini, don't you you think it's quite early for a boyfriend? " He asked in a serious tone and I glared at bhai who was suppressing his laugh. " Dad nothing. It's just that we had coffee and we are just friends. " I assured him and he nodded.

" You know na. I always care for you. Don't think me as a cruel father or something. " He said kissing my forehead and I hugged him tightly. " I know pops. " I giggled and he patted my back.

" Excuse me Mr. I think you forgot your elder child. " Bhai spoke out of jealousy and Dad hugged him too.
