" Weren't we supposed to be alone? " He asked and I nodded my head. " Then ask him to leave. " He said..more like ordering me and I couldn't help but follow as he said.

As I turned to my right, to ask Lucas to leave he wasn't present there. " Manik! "I heard Cabir's scream and I found Lucas clinging onto him and I slapped my forehead.

" Let's go. " Manik grabbed my wrist and forced me inside the house. " What about them? " I questioned. " He'll manage. " He replied, bringing me to the lawn.

" Is....is that for me? " I asked eyeing the bouquet he was holding, trying to lighten the tension between us and he seemed to break out of his reverie. " Uh..yes. These are for you. " He forwarded the bouquet towards me.

" Why yellow flowers? " I questioned, after accepting it. " I..uh don't know. " He scratched his nape and sent me a nervous smile. " I love them. " I inhaled their fragrance and then kept them on the table.

" It is too hot today. " He stared at the sky and then squinted his eyes the other second bringing his gaze down to me. " You want something cool? " I asked mischievous-ly walking towards him and he backed away.

" No, thanks. " He passed me his favourite sarcastic smile when I pushed him and he fell into the swimming pool. " Nandini this is not funny. " He yelled and I laughed loudly while holding my stomach.

"C'mon Manik it is just a pool " I replied, shaking my head at him but he did not even try moving, making me worried. " Manik? " I called him out but he gave no reply.

" Manik, stop playing. Look, I am sorry but please reply. " I panicked and the only thing came into my mind was to jump inside the pool to bring him up.

I kept his hand on my shoulder and brought up from the swimming pool. " Manik are you fine? " My cheeks were covered with water and I couldn't make out whether they were tears of the pool water.

" I am fine. " He coughed and I rubbed his back. " I am so sorry. I did not know, you didn't know swimming. " I cried, hugging him and he nodded.

" Let's get you changed. " I helped him stand and we walked inside the house.
