" How is Cabir? " I asked Navya and she looked at me in confusion. " What? " She asked. " I mean, how is he in nature? What do you think about him? " I asked her siting beside her on the sofa. " He is clingy, weird and stupid. " She said to me and then again averted her eyes back to the book she was reading. " But I think he is cute and he..likes you! " I spoke to her softly and waited for her reaction but she didn't even look at me.

" By the way, your mom said that Manik will pick you up in five minutes. " She spoke after a minute and my jaw hit the floor in shock. " And when were you going to tell me about this? " I asked her angrily when I heard the honk of the car indicating he was here. " Bye. " She spoke dully while reading the book making me roll my eyes as I stood from the sofa and grabbed my bag.

" Why have you come to pick me up? " I asked him once I sat inside the car and he started it. " I was coming to your house, so your Mom told me to pick you up on the way. " He said staring at the busy road and I nodded as I turned my head towards the window to avoid any further conversations with him. " You are still angry on me? "

He asked and I didn't reply. Ofcourse I was angry! " I have brought flowers for you. " He spoke keeping the bouquet of flowers on my lap and I stared at them." I hate..flowers. " I lied passing them back to him without looking at him. " Oh..and I also got you a novel. " He said giving both of the things to me " Why did you bring a novel? "

I asked him since I never told him that I loved reading. " I heard girls don't like flowers anymore, they love books so I brought you both. " He said and I looked at him who was already staring at me. " So am I forgiven? " He asked me once he stopped the car infront of the house.

" Maybe. " I replied with a playful smile on my face and he chuckled.

Yeah, I forgave him!

• Haldi •

The weather was a bit cloudy as I reached the venue where the Haldi ceremony would take place. It was decorated beautifully. Abhimanyu and I, had become great friends in a very short span of time and today was his Haldi.

The first thing that came in my mind was, where was Nandini? I wanted to look at her, I wanted to see how beautiful she looked in her dress. I looked at the crowd which was surrounding the place where Abhimanyu and his bride were sitting and I walked towards that place.

" Manik, where were you? Come and apply haldi on Abhi. " His Mom asked me as soon as she saw me standing there and I smiled. " Yeah I just got caught up with some work. " I reasoned for reaching late as I kneeled infront of Abhi and applied a great amount of Haldi on his face, messing his face up.

" Oww..man. I will take revenge, don't forget. " He spoke rubbing the Haldi from his eyes while I laughed. " Yeah, we'll see. " I spoke while standing up from the ground and then looked around the place when my eyes landed on Her! She was already staring at me with her big and beautiful eyes while standing behind her brother.

It was the first time I saw her in an Indian attire and I was in love with the she looked so exquisite. She passed me a small smile and I returned it when she came towards Mukti and that's when I realised she and Mukti had the same design lehanga.

She manages well to take my breath away each time.

The way he looked up at me with those beautiful dark brown eyes made an unknown feeling build inside of me. It was strange and..I had never felt it before. It was true that I was staring at him way before he even realised that I was present there, just infront of his eyes.

It had been long since he was staring at me and wasn't looking away which made it a bit awkward since we were surrounded by many people and I didn't want them to talk about us so I gave him a small smile bringing him from his reverie as he returned the smile back.

" Nandini take Mukti to her room. " My mom told me and I nodded my head as I made Mukti Bhabhi stand up from her place. " Ma'am please wait. We just want a last picture. " The photographer stopped me before I could take her to her room and I nodded backing away from her while Abhi came forwards for the picture.

" Oh my god, you guys are so adorable! " Navya exclaimed keeping her drink down as she watched Abhi and Bhabhi pose for the picture. " I know right! " I spoke smiling brightly at them when it was the time to take them back to their rooms after the last picture.

After I had taken Mukti Bhabhi to the room, I was going to return to mine when I spotted Manik standing near the balcony and I changed my mind as I went to him rather than going to my room. " Hey! " I greeted him as I stood beside him in the balcony gaining his attention.

" Hey, I thought you forgot me. " He spoke making a sad face. " No, I didn't forget you. " I said making him smile. " Did I tell you that you look so pretty in traditionals? " He asked me or maybe complimented me? " No you didn't tell me. " I said. " This was the first time I saw you in an Indian Attire and I love the way how you look in it. " He spoke staring in my eyes.

Fuck, I was blushing! I looked down being embarassed and I didn't want him to see my blushing face. " Th..anks. " I said not looking at him. " I would really appreciate, if you would say that to me while looking at me with your blushing face. " He said and My eyes snapped towards him. He knew!

I was going to blush more but I tried to stop it by biting the insides of my cheeks. " I am not.. blushing. " I spoke staring at his chin rather than in his eyes. " Yes you are. " He said and I found his voice turn husky as he kept his finger on my chin and made me look at him.

" There. " He exclaimed as a smile formed on his lips. " Thank you. " I stared in his eyes while speaking this and he nodded his head. " I think I will leave now. " I said fidgeting with my dubatta and he backed off giving me space. " I will meet you in the evening then. " He spoke and I nodded smiling at him as I walked away from the balcony.

He manages well to make my heartbeat raise.

School is giving me tons of homework and also I was demotivated to write since I read the previous chapters and I felt like throwing up. I am sorry you had to read that rubbish.
