Priya yawned and opened her eyes when the car came to a halt, they were in the Walmart parking lot.
"Last stop, I promise," Dante said and got out of the car. Priya yawned again and got out of the car, following the demon hunter into the oversized store. She was immediately brought into alertness when she felt how cold it was in there. She shivered once but managed to control herself from doing it again. The cold didn't bother Dante, not much can bother or affect him because of his demon blood, so he took his coat off and handed it to Priya, who immediately put it on. Dante grabbed her hand and led her to the service counter, saying "Where can I find maternity shirts?"

The old lady looked confused at first before smiling and saying "Oh, congratulation! Deciding to become parents? It's a hard but very rewarding job. You'll find the maternity shirts next to the baby aisle, that aisle is dedicated for expecting mothers. You'll also want to get some almond oil."
"Why?" Priya asked, not remembering anything that would require almond oil.
"Well, at thirty-two weeks you'll want to rub almond oil on your perineum to make you less likely to tear during delivery, and it can certainly get you used to and less scared of the stretching you'll feel as your baby is born." The old lady said with a smile. Priya blushed at hearing that, not knowing why but she felt really embarrassed at hearing that.
"Though, darling, it can be kind of hard to do because of how big you'll get."
"That's okay, I'll help her," Dante said, causing the old lady to clasp her hands and say "Oh, you're a darling to help her." Priya blushed even more and hid her face in her hands. The cambion just smirked at how adorable she is and led her through the aisles.

Dante held up one of the maternity shirts, never thinking he would ever have to do this. He put it back and looked through others, finding one that he thought Priya might like. He held it up and said, "What do you think?" The young girl looked and saw it was a grey shirt that said 'growing my tribe.' and it had an arrow pointing down. Priya smirked at it for a second before grabbing one off the racks and going over to his left. She held up the shirt and smirked. Dante looked at it and immediately put the one he grabbed back, saying "Okay, that one is better." The shirt said 'He did it.' and the arrow was pointing at Dante. The cambion went back to searching but only seconds later Priya was tapping him on his shoulder. He turned around and saw her holding up a black shirt that said in purple writing 'We are hoping it's a unicorn.' Dante didn't like it but the smile on Priya's face said she liked it, and she would be the one wearing it, plus she is the one who'll be giving birth. The cambion smiled and said, "Put it in the cart."

Priya looked through more shirts but then found two together, she smiled and said: "Dante, look at this!" The demon hunter turned around and saw her holding a maternity shirt that had an almost filled bar and said 'Baby loading. Please wait...' then he saw the other shirt and almost groaned. It said 'Dad to be. Loading. Please wait...' He didn't want to wear it, he really didn't want to wear it. He hates clothing like that. He has no problem with being a dad, okay, maybe he isn't excited for it because he doesn't know the first thing about taking care of a baby, but he doesn't have a problem with that part, it's the clothes that bother him.
"Whenever we go out, I'll wear this and you'll wear this." Priya seems so excited for them to wear the shirts that he had to agree with it. He silently put them in the cart and started searching for more.

After thirty minutes, Priya had plenty of maternity shirts, one that has a picture of a baby peeking through a slit and saying 'peek-a-boo' and another one, which Dante said would be perfect, says 'I can't keep calm, I'm pregnant.' And Priya found another shirt for Dante, it said 'Be nice to me, my wife is pregnant.' They kept finding shirts that would be funny instead of cute. Dante found one that said 'I'm pregnant, I'm uncomfortable, I'm crabby... were you about to say something?' At one point, Priya laughed and said: "I found a shirt to match one that you said would be perfect." It was a shirt for him that said: "I can't keep calm, I'm going to be a daddy." Dante gave her this look and said: "You want to start a war?" Priya grinned and said, "Bring it."

After another thirty minutes, Priya and Dante had ended their little war, they couldn't stop laughing. They stood by the cart and Priya said to the demon hunter "You have to wear the ones I picked out."
"Only if you wear the ones I picked out," Dante said with a grin. Priya reached in and grabbed two shirts, telling Dante to hurry and follow her. The demon hunter quickly pushed the cart after her over to the dressing area. She handed the shirts to the lady at the desk and said: "My boyfriend and I will be wearing these out." The lady smiled lightly and scanned them before ripping the tags and stickers off. Priya tossed one of the shirts to Dante while she took off his coat and slipped her shirt over her tank top. Dante sighed lightly and didn't bother going in the changing room. He just took off his shirt and set it down on a bench. Before he could put his other shirt on, a young girl dressed like a tramp walked over and started to feel him up, saying "Hey, there, handsome. Want to come with me for a second?" She was a lot prettier than Priya, she was a lot prettier than most women.

Priya got incredibly jealous, she wanted to rip out her earrings and kick her in the stomach. She was about to storm over but Dante quickly put his shirt on and pointed at Priya. The girl just looked at the shirt and then at Priya for a second before saying "Oh forget her, she can take care of herself and the baby on her own." Despite not showing it, Dante was furious. He backed away and said, "Sorry, I prefer good, sweet girls, not skanky whores." The girl fumed and stormed off. Priya sighed lightly in relief, she walked over to Dante and stood next to him, her shirt having an arrow pointing at him and saying 'He did this to me.' while Dante's shirt had an arrow pointing up at him and says 'The man who made the bump." Dante picked up his coat and put it back on Priya before grabbing the cart and saying "Okay, let's go get what else we need."

Priya smiled as she walked through Walmart, so far, except the incident with the whore, the shopping has been fun. A woman walked over and said, "Excuse me, may I give you some advice?" Priya was a little hesitant, this lady had to be around 40 so she must have great parenting and pregnancy tips but she had a feeling the advice was going to be something harsh because she's pregnant while pretty young. She realized Dante would do something if she upset her so she nodded.
"You're too young so I must tell you everything. You're going to feel nauseous a lot, and I've got some tips to deal with that plus some great foods that help when your little baby is making you want to eat everything." The lady said, seeming to actually care about this.
"You're going to want to buy a big bag of dum-dums, lollipops help with nausea, same thing with pleasant smells like perfume or cologne. What works for me is citrus scents. Also, keep a snack on your bedside table. Morning sickness is worse on an empty stomach so snack whenever you can, like waking up late in the night." The lady said and reached into her cart, grabbing two boxes of Kraft Delux Mac 'n Cheese. and putting them in Dante's cart.
"Those are amazing for cravings. Again, you are too young to know this but when a lady is pregnant they will crave weird things to eat. Imagine the cravings you get while you're on your period except much weirder. When I was pregnant, I wanted to eat corn starch." Dante sighed and looked over at a stack of magazines, knowing this lady is going to be going on and on, he grabbed one and started reading, though he quickly put it back, realizing that this stuff could help him out with Priya.

"You're going to be in your OB's waiting room a lot, especially towards the end as your checkups are more frequent. You might as well pass the time doing something fun, listen to music or watch movies on your iPod, if you have one, you also can't beat a good book." The lady said and put her arm around Priya, which made Dante tense up.
"Trust me on all of this, I'm a mother of 7, I've had plenty of experience. My kids are all independent and don't need me anymore, so if you need someone to watch the baby then I would love to watch it." Priya smiled and said, "I'll think about it, I really want to just stay with my baby every day." The lady smiled and said "I can tell you're gonna be a good mother. And you." She said the last part while looking at Dante.
"I can tell you are going to be a good father. You look strong, I know you'll be able to keep your child safe. And you look so young too but you're staying with your girlfriend and are gonna help her with the baby."
"She isn't gonna be my girlfriend for long," Dante said with a light smile, Priya felt her heart sink, but then she noticed the smile and knew what he meant. 

The lady smiled and turned her attention back to Priya and said "You're going to want some lotion, you're belly skin might get itchy as it stretches.  Maria grabbed her cart and said, "Bye, and Dante, remember what I said about helping her out."
"Yeah, I know, I already promised to rub almond oil on her perineum, all the other stuff is nothing compared to that. I'll help her." The cambion said and waved her off.

As soon as Maria disappeared, Dante said: "Can we continue shopping now? It's past lunch time and you need to make sure you and our baby stay healthy." Priya smiled and said "I love it when you say "our baby" " She kissed the demon hunter's cheek and started off for the aisles that have everything she needs. Dante sighed and followed, he had no problem with all this but if a bunch of other women want to stop them and give advice then he would rather shoot himself. He pushed the cart around and sighed, hoping they could get through this place without another lady coming up to them to give them advice.
