This book is dedicated to my mother, Martina. I have long stopped believing myself for several reasons, but my mother's faith does not waver, no matter what she may endure. She is my strength and solace, and I rather believe in a good and wonderful and real person like her, whose perseverance and absolute joy for life enriches my own so very much. I feel blessed for every day that I can spend with her.
