(Reapers POV)

I really didn't feel like moving at all today, I was so out of energy regardless of how much sleep I had gotten. Geno mentioned briefly their was a Remady to help this kind of thing but that it would take some time to find the recipe in the archives.

I was laying on the couch waiting until some called me to go do the trial thing, I heard a soft knock. I heaved a sigh hoping it wasn't time already "come in" I called. Geno poked his head in before a small smile came across his face.

"I was wondering where you where" he padded over to me and instead of asking me to make room for him on the plush couch He just laid on top me.

I could feel the thrum of his soul beat through his chest, "so what did you come in here for?" I asked placing my hands on the small of his back as he cuddled more in to me.

"I just wanted to see you" he said Softly a underlying of sadness in his tone. I wasn't used to seeing him with his angels wings yet but they where memroizing .

Using one hand I traced the Crimson pattern on his wings, he gave a content sigh happy. I continued to sluggishly trace the patterns just enjoying this moment. "I love you" Geno Murmured just barely audible. I smirked "love you too" I gave him a quick kiss on his foreskull.

"I hope things go well." Geno said a bit of worry in his tone, I nodded. "Any news on that thing you where supposed to get me" he shook his head "the archives are huge I've barely even scratched the surface" I let out a small chuckle before sighing "well isn't it supposed to start soon we best get ready"

He was quite before finally sighing as well "I guess."

As If on que a knock rang at the door, Geno got up quickly giving me a glance before I sat up my self,Geno walked to the door and opened it.

"Oh Geno? Didn't expect to see you here. Well anyways Reaper has been summoned, you as well" frisk said with her hands clasped together, Geno looked at me I nodded signaling I was Ready.

Getting up I wobbled at first before striding over to the door, frisk then turned and lead the way.

"Are we doing the trial?" Geno Asked, frisk shook her head not bothering to look back "no, since you probably would be bias and vote strongly on Reapers Behalf your not allowed to be on the court but we are"

"Wait so what do I have to do?" I asked, she laughed a little "you just prove Your good" she said before quickening her pace and stopping outside Marble and gold doors.

"Are you ready?" I stared at the doors before nodding willing my self to relax. She opened them, stepping in to a freezing cold room.Their was rows where angels who wanted to observe and then their was a platform raised up where their was seven seats. Of course two seats would be empty but even with angels missing it was daunting.

Geno sat amoungst the crowd leaving me to walk with frisk any comfort I had being beside him quickly vanished, she told me to stop and went to take her place.

"Reaper, do You subject to telling us the truth and only the truth?" The queen said her voice echoed in the vast room. "Yes I do" I said glancing back at Geno who watched with a anxious look.

"I trust you still have that little bracelet frisk gave you?"  I glanced down seeing it grimcing I nodded.

"Good, each time you lie the bracelet will send a shock through you, this will.... encourage you. To speak the truth,Now are you ready for our questions?"

I took a deep breath before nodding, the room went dead quite, free of any murmurs. Frisk stood up "it is correct you where sent to the mortal realm to fetch our guardian angels on the field correct?" She asked looking at some papers. "Yes, That was my orders"

"So I understand your mission was to bring them back dead or alive?" I hesitated "Dream I had to bring back alive But the one other I was initially told about that statement remains true."

A few whispers filled the court room at my statement. "Did you have your suspicions about dream and Geno?" "No" instantly I felt a Shock pulse through me making me wince.

Her expression didn't change, "did you have your suspicions about dream or Geno?" She asked again. "Dream maybe but Geno no I didn't" I said recovering from the shock.

She nodded before sitting down allowing ink to talk. "Did you want to hurt either of them?" I opened my mouth to speak but another shock was sent through me. He seemed torn but shook his head slightly clearing any thoughts he could be having.

"Maybe at first but in my defence-" "when did you know about dream?"  He said cutting me off, he looked up at Toriel who had a pleased smile at him.

"When I caught him in the field" I said clenching my fists. "Did you have the intention of hurting Geno once you brought him to your realm?" "No. I didn't want to hurt him but-" "that will be all" Ink said sitting down after he cut me off,He looked a bit guilty. It was blues turn his questions where quite mild and easy to answer but  finally one of the angels I have been dreading.

Now was Toriels turn. She cleared her throat not bothering to stand "Reaper we brought back your journal, I see you kept diligent notes on who the angels could be it seems." "We also found a blade, where you going to use it on them?"

"No. Not to kill them" "Then why did you have it." She said it more like a demand rather then a question. "I was given it by another demon who was observing my progress to report back to the king"

She clenched her jaw at the mention of the king, "why did you change your mind about taking Geno to where he was supposed to go? In his stament he spoke of that you where kind to him to made sure he was healthy before he went to some Torture place your friend told you to take him."

I felt disgusted at the word friend he was no friend of mine but I pushed away that anger.

"It was the least I could do, I felt... guilty" she scoffed and it took every bone in my body to resist to snap at her. "I'm done" she muttered disappointed she didn't get a rise out of me.

I thought I was finished until I realized lust. It was his turn, "since I had been the one seeing the whole thing I have a few questions for you" he said his tone even but his expression seemed like he was debating somthing, "what did you do to Dream when you had caught him?"

I looked down at the floor "it would have been a bit of time until swap fell- I mean the other demons would fetch him plus I needed to figure out who the other ones where. So I put a Bind on him"

Everyone gasped behind me shocked, I avoided lusts gaze but I felt that it burned with anger "do you regret your actions?" "Yes"

I looked back up and I saw his angry  gaze flicker to Geno, "what's Your relationship with Geno?" I stared at him not wanting to say, he knew the truth yet still asked it knowing what I say could change the trial instantly.

"I-uh." I looked back at Geno who had a mortified look on his face, i let out a shakey breath "Like I said where just friends" instantly I was shocked making me flinch but I was prepared for it. Lust saw my flinch "your lying." I shook my head "why would I lie about that, seriously you know this where just f-" a more painful shock overwhelmed me making me clutch my wrist.

I noticed they all seemed suprised and looked at lust who's expression didn't change. "Just tell them the truth, it's gonna be less painful" I opened my mouth again but it must predict what I'm going to say and sends another harsh bolt of electricity through me this time longer. I hissed in pain having to take a knee.

I glared up at lust, "you love him don't you" "no" I said hissed through clenched teeth. another shock, I felt like my skull was going to explode it didn't help that I was out of energy.

Lust turned to Toriel "I think that's all we need to here" she nodded "agreed." She stood up.

(Genos POV)

No no no no no no no kept repeating in my head, why didn't I think that this could happen?! Poor reaper clearly couldn't put up with any more shocking and now remained quite his head resting on his knee as he breathed heavily his body trying to recover.

Toriel stood up, how could lust do this. "Bring Geno forward" I looked at her supirse until I was pulled forward by guardian angels, I felt the eyes of all the other angels burying in to me.

Now standing next to Reaper I stared at them feeling like a frightened child rather then a virtue I felt my shoulder brush his comforting me slightly. "Geno you know that having a romantic relationship with a demon is Treason." She said sounding disappointed.

I looked to the floor, it was inevitable for us being caught, but I don't regret it. Though I feel a apology string from my mouth as I look at the floor.

After silence I finally look up to meet her fiery gaze but it wasn't directed at me it was at Reaper Who met her with a icy glare his breathing still laboured his hand took mine though giving it a light squeeze of reassurance.

"Take them him away" she said sounding disgusted and I was grabbed by the arms getting dragged away from reaper who was forced remain in place.

I hadn't ever been locked in the cells here before. I hugged me knees wondering why lust would he do that. he knew what would happen.

I sighed in frustration,shutting my eyes closed as my back was pressed against the cold polished stone.

Finally a door opened and my head perked up, "you where the last person I thought would break the most sacred rule" she said. It was Toriel she sounded like a dissipointrd mother. I mean she basically raised us, before we where virtues she taught us everything we know.

"I couldn't help it" I said quietly hugging my knees more, "no, your right it's not your fault I knew that demon was playing tricks. He must have done something to make you fall in love with him. H-He has had too"

I shook my head "no." She looked like she was going to cry or yell at me. "What did you do to him" I said feeling genuinely worried.

"Nothin yet. But he has done something to you. So I'll let this slide the only  thing now we have to do is to remove him and maybe that will break what ever curse he put on you."

I stared at her wide eyed before crawling over to the bars that kept me here "please don't hurt him I'm sorry for falling in love Please" I begged quietly. She sighed, "he has to forget you" she said rage entering her pityful eyes.

"What" I Said "he has to forget everything and be sent to the mortals" "And let the other demons kill him?!" I said getting angry she shrugged "would you rather us kill him? At least he has a chance, and besides the longer we keep him here the more danger we are in do you want millions more to die over another war??"

I shook my head "you...-I cant let you" my voice cracked as I looked at the maddeningly clean floor, it was to perfect for a prison to perfect. I can't image where Reaper is right now.

"It's better for the both of you." She said gently Their was a long silence.  "I need to do it then" she frowned more but didn't say anymore instead she nodded slowly standing up straight  she unlocked the cell door allowing me to stand up and walk next to her.

"I'll prepare what will be needed she said softly, he will be taken to the library" I closed my eyes stopping trying to stop tears from forming in my eyes.

She continued walking, I needed to remind Still telling my self that this is going to be for the better of angel kind but I love reaper. I love reaper so much it makes my soul ache.

I sat in the study. Numbly I fiddled with a loose string on my white shirt and black shorts. The doors opened revealing reaper who looked a little worse for where but he was alive.

I stood up and instantly threw my arms around him. He seemed a bit shocked turning his head to see the retreating guardian angels who left shutting the door.

"I love you so so so so much" I said he chuckled "jeez Geno Didn't think you'd miss me that much~"  I scoffed weakly, "Are you okay?" He nodded "a little bit sore from all that shocking but I'm fine" he said flashing a small reassuring smile, he kissed me lovingly before pulling away.

"They didn't hurt you did they?"  He asked I shook my head blushing from the kiss. Cupping his face with my hand, I looked to his chest "let's sit, I have news" he tilted his head but followed me over to a table and chairs, on the table was two cups of tea.

He gave a confused look "Wait shouldn't they be fuming that we love each other? Isn't it illegal how come where not in a proper prison."

He sat down slowly waiting for my response and I did the same, picking up my cup I took a sip, he gave a confused look but seemed greatful for a drink and took a large sip.

"They decided to lift the law for us, I explained to Toriel how much I love you and she took pity."  His expression turned happy instantly making me wince.

"That's great news! I just wish she decided to lift the law before all that shocking" he said rubbing his wrist tentivly.

"Yeah... it is" I said trying to force a smile, he took another sip "Hey maybe you can tell me how much you love me later~" he said with a wink and a wide smirk I scoffed giving him a glare, he chuckled before giving a confused look staring at the tea in his hand, "I really do love you Reaper" I said he gave a even more confused look and I knew it was starting to take affect.

"Wait why am I so tired." He looked at me for a answer "your always tired reaper" I said a bit jokingly he shook his head "no.. this is different" I just smiled sadly, "this was for your own good, I hope you know I had no other choice, I promise you Reaper I will find you again" I said before  shutting my eyes as I heard a small thud and the sound of a cup breaking.

When I opened them he was knocked out, by time he wakes up he will be in his mortal form and no memories what so ever, not of growing up, not of hurting anyone. Not of me...

I stood up walking over to his unconscious form. Crouching down I kissed his forskull . looking at my virtue necklace that I had hidden beneath my shirt I slipped it off putting it around his own neck, it was a small angle that was simplified but it was supposed to look like me, on the back of it it said 'Humility'

"I'll see you again, Reaper"

(Yes their will be a second book and yes I've been planing this for a while that's why updates are slow also by the way No ones really 'evil' in this book

Toriel doesn't like love between angels and demons because she had loved a demon who then broke her heart.

Lust told on them not because he wanted to hurt Geno (which was inevitable really, he didn't know how much he loved Reaper) he knew what would happen, and simply told so Reaper would leave and that wouldn't cause a war to break out.

And for the other sins their not necessarily evil They are just doing what they've been told to do all their life much like reaper who has shown demons can change.

Anyways Just wanted to clear that up I hope you decide to read book two when it's out. Thank you for all the Votes and Reads on this book you don't know how thankful I am for everyone who likes this book.
