<3> Annabeth.

"Annabeth, how old are you?"

Sally's words ran through Annabeth's head as she sat looking at the beautiful woman with brown locks and blue eyes.

Annabeth had never really thought about it before. How old was she?

Annabeth looked down at her own fragile form, she didn't know what to think. She didn't know how old she was, she didn't even know where she was. She just missed her old home.

Then a memory came to Annabeth's mind. Something about a number. 1,700.

"S-seventeen." Annabeth finally mustered out as she looked at her hands.

Sally sighed, "Just one year younger than Percy." She shook her head and sat on the couch where Annabeth's feet were at.

"Do you have a family?" Sally asked and Annabeth looked up towards the whiteness that looked hard. Annabeth imagined that it was. It looked different than the sky.

Annabeth remembered the man, the one whom she knew well. Blonde hair like her own, tan body and firm build. A bright smile. Light grey eyes like her own.

"Malcolm." She sighed and smiled remembering her brother whom she had been close too. They were practically born at the same time. Same age, same interests. But for some reason. Annabeth was the one who had made the mistake. The one to fall.

She was the fallen.

Annabeth sniffled.

"Who's Malcolm?" Sally asked lightly laying her hand on Annabeth's soft dainty leg.

Annabeth looked at the couch in between her legs. She didn't know if she should tell anybody about him. If he was still in the old realm which she had once lived in, he might be exposed. Annabeth shouldn't of even breathed his name or thought of him. If there was any other.... Beings near. They could sense what she was talking about an attack her brother.

"I-I knew him once." Annabeth stuttered trying to find a way to keep in as much information about her brother as possible without lying.

"But he's gone now."

Annabeth's eyes burned and she wiped away a tear with her hand.

"I'm so sorry Annabeth."

Annabeth nodded before she heard more thumps that seemed to get louder each thump. Annabeth looked up and saw Percy walk in, smiling in sympathy at Annabeth before he sat down on the couch across from where her and Sally were sitting.

"Ok, Annabeth. I have some clothes for you that you could wear until you find a place to stay." Sally said and Annabeth nodded.

Sally rose from her seat and looked at Annabeth expectantly.

Annabeth looked over the side of the couch and saw the dark carpet with designs on it. Annabeth didn't know what they meant but she assumed each symbol had a meaning.

Annabeth slowly turned her body so that her feet were hanging over the edge of the couch which she sat comfortably on.

Annabeth took small breaths as she lowered her feet down slowly hoping she wouldn't step on a wrong symbol and somehow get cursed into oblivion and end up in eternal torture unable to help. Unable to heal.

Annabeth set her feet down and instead of what she thought she would feel she felt soft comfiness under her feet.

Annabeth sighed before slowly putting her hands on the couch and lifting the rest of her body up slowly as Sally and Percy watched her in confusion.

Finally after a moment in full stature she let go of the couch leaving all her weight to her feet.

Annabeth took a deep breath, her feet began to feel weird. They felt like they were being crushed from all the weight. She'd never actually stood on her feet before, she had no need to. She had wings.

Had.

Sally cleared her throat, "This way Honey." Sally started to walk past her and down a hallway.

Annabeth, completely focused, made a step forward before putting her weight on it again.

She repeated this several times, after about the five step her legs began to become wobbly and her feet seemed to lose their flatness turning into a ball where she had to shift her weight to stay upright.

Annabeth held the walls and made her way to the room Sally had just walked into.

Annabeth looked around once she entered finding the room a light grey color like her brothers eyes, just not as shiny and beautiful.

The room had a large bed with white comforters on them and a lamp on a little wooden stand next to the bed which had papers and pens on it.

There was a dresser made out of wood which Sally had opened and began pulling out clothes.

"No, the jeans will be too large, and the shorts too baggy." Sally looked through her clothes until she pulled out a black piece of fabric.

"These should do." Sally was about to hand it to her but Annabeth stumbled back away from the black falling all over herself until she fell back onto the floor banging her head on the wood floor just outside Sally's room of carpet.

Annabeth's breath hitched.

"Annabeth!" Sally screamed before Annabeth heard footsteps on the floor, she could feel that the person was running since the floor sent out waves into her head.

Annabeth opened her eyes and found Percy above her along with Sally her face looking so pale like she had just seen something terrible.

"I'm gonna help you up." Percy slid his hands under her head and back at the same time. But him touching her back sent a burning sensation through her body.

"A-ahh!" Annabeth exclaimed at the unexpected pain. Apparently when she fell she couldn't feel the pain as much because of the sudden impact.

Percy paused his hands freezing when Annabeth yelled out when he touched her sensitive part.

"It's her head." Sally said and Percy nodded before helping sit Annabeth up so Sally could look at her head.

Sally moved over and looked at the back of Annabeth's head before taking in a deep breath.

"Yeah, she's bleeding a bit." Sally sent Percy off who went and grabbed some supplies.

Annabeh just sat there dumbfounded. She was bleeding? She couldn't bleed. At least not before.

Percy came back and Sally took the supplies from him before Annabeth felt her touching the back of her head where she had had the most contact with the floor.

After a moment Sally stopped and let out a sigh. "You're all good to go."

Sally stood up and Percy slipped his hands under Annabeth's armpits making her gasp at the surprise. "I'm gonna pick you up." Percy whispered in her ear before he slowly lifted her up by her arms which was straining on her back, but she bit her lip and held it in.

Percy helped Annabeth over and let her sit down on the bed in the room before he put the supplies he had brought Sally away leaving the room.

"Here." Sally put the black cloth in Annabeth's hands before she could refuse it.

Annabeth looked at it in absolute horror. Black was the realm she once lived in's opposite color. The enemies' color and sign.

Sally pulled out a shirt that was white with a pocket on the left side of the chest.

"Here, it's baggy enough it will cover up your bum."

Sally gave her the shirt and directed Annabeth to a room with a mirror and a place that had curtains around it to hide what was behind it. But the curtains weren't soft like Annabeth thought they'd be. There was also a white seat that had a hole in the center of it with water in it. Annabeth had a strange feeling about it. So she didn't touch it.

Annabeth slowly pulled off the hoodie that Percy had put on her before setting in on the ground and looking in the mirror.

She looked like she had been through terrible things. Her hair was sticking out everywhere, and her face had spots on it from crying so hard. Her bottom lip was a little red from biting it to keep in her pain.

Annabeth sighed and removed her slightly see through shirt and putting on the white one over her body.

She looked at the black piece of clothing on the floor. She knew they were for her bottom half of her because her top half was already covered up. But she had no idea why Sally was so nervous about it though.

Where she used to live you wore one cloak and not very often. It was either used in battle with your armor or to special events. Otherwise you barely wore anything. Because everyone was perfect.

Annabeth slowly reached and grabbed the black piece of clothing before opening it up at the top and slowly sticking her legs in.

She pulled them all the way up until the tightest part was around her waist holding it on her.

Annabeth had her eyes closed the whole time just hoping she wouldn't be killed on the spot for even touching the color.

After a moment and nothing happening she looked down and found she was in one piece.

Annabeth let out a shaky sigh before opening the door to the small room and exiting it going back into Sally's room.

They made their way back out to the room with the couch before Percy took out a small piece of metal and put it up to his ear before talking to it.

Annabeth thought this was really strange, but after several conversations with the metal he sighed and set it down it's glow going away.

"Will said she would. But she needs us to drive Annabeth to her house."

Sally nodded and gave Annabeth two sandals as Annabeth clutched Percy's blue hoodie in her hands.

"Get ready, we're going to your new home."
