The B&B has been open for about a week now and we have been fully booked everyday. Derek helped me hire staff and so far everyone is great. Derek had been on pins and needles the last week waiting for the results to come in. Everyday the mail comes he bolts to the box and when the envelope is not there a frown quickly appears.

Sitting at the island looking over this weeks income from the store and B&B things will look up in no time and the winery will be saved.

I hear the clank of the mailbox and go to the door and look out waiting for the mailman to drive off. Once he is out of sight I walk out and pull the mail from the box. Skimming through the mail my fingers touch the envelope that we've been waiting for and I see Derek walking across the yard. I stand there and wait and when he gets to me I hand him the envelope and wait for the news we already know.

"Well I am his dad." He says with a smile.

I walk over and hug him. He pulls his phone out and dials Dana. They start making plans, she said she's already found an apartment about 20 minutes from the winery and they will be moving this weekend. I guess that's how sure Dana was that he was the father.

"Are you happy?" I ask.

"Actually yes. I've always wanted to be a dad. Are you ok with this? It doesn't change anything for us I promise you."

"I know Derek. I'm ok with this. I can't wait to meet him and I can't wait to see you become a dad."

Derek pulls me into a tight hug and tells me we will soon have our own children and I smile. I glance to my left and see Brad and Courtney walking across our yard and Courtney has a huge I have some great news smirk on her face.

"Hey you two!" She says cheerfully.

Derek takes my hand and he waves with his other hand that still has the envelope in it.

"So it's 100%?" Brad asks.

"Yes and him and Dana will be moving here this weekend. Would you be willing to help Brad?"

"Of coarse man and we can get Ethan and that muscular meat head that works in the shop ha."

"We can help her organize!" Courtney says.

"Great! I get to me my son!" Derek says excitedly.

"Well Brad and I have our own little news." Courtney says.

I look at her in question and in the back of my mind I'm begging for her not to say that she's pregnant.

"Brad and I set a date. We want to get married in the fall so sometime in November!"

"Wow that's great Court and Brad!" I say hugging her.

"One other thing. We wanted to know if you and Derek would like to do a double wedding here?" Brad asks.

I look at Derek and he looks at me. "Why not?" Derek says. "Let's do it!"

"Woooooo!!!!!" Courtney yells! "Our wedding is going to be awesome! Well Brad and I have to get back to the house we are almost ready to move in!"

I hug Courtney and Brad shakes Derek's hand and like that they are gone.

"So let's go get some lunch." Derek says.

"Actually already done. Let's go in and eat!"

"You are amazing! So we are really going to do this?" He asks.

"What eat lunch?" I say joking.

"Um no. Get married in 10 months."

"Yep I can't wait to be your wife. I just hope Dana ends up being cool with me. I don't like baby mama drama haha"

"She will be. I was ashamed for what happened and I took the easy way out and ran. Had I known there was a child involved it would have ended up differently. I didn't feel that way about her at all, in fact she was mostly in to girl."

"Oh wow. Wonder if that's still the case?"

"Ella are you saying you may be interested and leave me for her?" He winks and smiles.

"Hey you never know!" I giggle.

Derek stands up comes over to me and stands between my legs. Bowing his head he kisses me and nibbles at my lip. I wrap my arms around his neck and he just now realizes I'm wearing a dress. Bryce is a spitting image of Derek and they are both already attached to one another. Dana is super nice and has done an amazing job raising Bryce. Ethan seems attracted to Dana and she seems interested too. Dana found a really cute apartment and will work with Derek to share time with Bryce.

The boys finish bringing in the last of the furniture and head down to grab the rest of the boxes. Courtney and I head into the kitchen to start some dinner.

Derek pulls Dana to the side and I hear him apologize to her for everything. She doesn't get angry or anything. I also hear her say that she really likes me and that he's lucky and I can't help but smile.

"So what's the deal? Into girls or guys now?" Derek asks her.

She chuckles. "I'm bi Derek, no preference as long as I'm treated right. It's mostly been men though that I've dated."

"So no one in your life now?"

"No Derek and you don't have to worry about me trying to get with you just because we have a kid together. I like Ella, she seems good for you."

"Thanks Dana. Why don't you come over and check out the winery this week. Bryce can ride the horses and you can see the amazing stuff Ella has done to recover the winery."

"Sounds like a plan! Bryce would love the horses."

I come out from the kitchen and head toward the bathroom. All of a sudden I'm not feeling so well. It's probably just exhaustion and from not getting much sleep lately. I go into the bathroom and splash some water on my face. Derek is now at the door knocking.

"Babe are you ok?" He asks.

I open the door. "Yeah I think I just had a hot flash from standing over the stove."

"If you aren't feeling good we can go home, we are finished up here."

"No let's just eat dinner." I give him a reassuring smile.

He kisses my forehead and I follow him to the dining room to eat dinner. Ethan's probing Dana with lots of questions and she's blushing. There's a lot of laughter and it's a great time. After dinner we all help clean up and get ready to head home.

Derek hugs Bryce. "See you soon buddy."

Bryce looks at Derek deep in the eyes. "Can I call you dad then?"

Derek didn't know what to say so he looks at Dana for approval. She nods her head and shrugs like why not, you are his dad.

"Well sure, but only if that what you want to do." Derek says.

"Ok I want to call you dad!" Bryce smiles real big and hugs Derek again.

Derek smiles so big just like Bryce and this moment is when they look the most alike. The same wide grin and I take my phone out to snap a picture. Bryce finally lets go and kisses Derek on the cheek. He looks at me and takes my hand pulling me down to kiss my cheek too.

"I like you and I would like if your were my second mommy."

I smile and hug him looking at Dana to make sure I didn't cross any boundaries. She smiles at me and I stand up as she walks toward me and hugs me too. Looking at Derek and I she says we got this and pulls us both into hug us together. We say our goodbyes and leave with the promises to see all soon.

The drive home is quiet but content and Derek reaches over to take my hand bringing it to his lips and placing a soft kiss on the top of it. He smiles and I smile back and my life feels complete.
