I felt like a fool right now, moving my gaze from one end to the other....
The other end to the other.
I just felt so weird seeing different versions of one person.
Okay! Timothy never told me he had a twin!
What I'm I saying, he doesn't even tell me any damn thing about himself.
I don't really know our relationship with each other, but he said it himself...
Friends right?
He was also dressed casual in a pair of blue jeans, blue jean jacket and a light red designer top within, a pair of small black boots and deep blonde hair--just like Timothy's--straightened and jelled to utmost perfection.
He stopped midway for a while, it felt like the both of them exchanged glares for sometime, it wasn't meant to be noticeable though.
Something tells me these two aren't on good terms.
I stood up to acknowledge the presence of the new 'somebody', Timothy ran his fingers through his hair and looked away.
I looked back at the guy that just walked in and noticed that he was no longer looking at Timothy....
He was looking at me!
I started feeling uneasy.
Not only did he intensely stare at me, he also had that lustful glint in his eye.
Why the hell is he looking at me like that?!
He continued his journey foward with confident strides but this time, his eyes were fixed on me.
It was somewhat clear that he was coming towards me.
I decided to just stay put and wait for him to get to me. I didn't want the fact that he was a gorgeous eye candy get to me but I didn't want to look like a weak girl on our first encounter.
....Even if I was....
Before I knew it, he was already infront of me, flashing me a heart warming signature smile.
Too bad, he didn't have those dimples I could die for.
"I'm Tristan, you?" He asked, stretching his hands out for a handshake.
I stared at the hands in mild confusion.
It was just a simple handshake right? Just a mere introduction.
"Stella...I'm Stella," I replied, returning the gesture and placing my smaller hands in his.
'Normal time meant for a mere handshake' period passed and he still caged my hands in his, stroking it lightly with his thumb with a small grin on his face.
"Wow....you sound just as good as you look," he complimented and I just nodded in reply.
He removed his hands from mine finally and just when I was about to let out a sigh of relief, I felt him coming closer to me.
A few seconds later, I felt his hands on my waist as he leaned closer.
"I was looking for the stars last night but I can find them all in your eyes," he whispered in my right ear, his warm breathe hitting against the nape of my neck.
I didn't know if I was meant to blush or feel flushed but I felt so disgusted.
He only reminded me of a certain someone that I tried to push to the farthest part of my past.
I had the urge to push him far away from me but even before I could, he was already pushed away from me.
I watched as he staggered a few steps away from me.
"You don't have to be a jerk all the time!" I heard Timothy shout at him.
"And you don't also have to interfere in any of my business!" Tristan yelled back.
"You don't need to show your stupidity everywhere, infront of every single person you come across...don't you ever feel ashamed?" Timothy retorted.
"Atleast people still prefer my so called 'stupidity' to every damn thing about you....I thought you try so much not to care about whatever I do, so why now...why should you be bothered....Is she your girlfriend?!" He shouted back.
There was a weird moment of silence.
"She...she..." He stammered a bit before looking back at his brother's face.
"She's not my girlfriend but she's not one of your toys either," he briefly replied.
Tristan had already opened his mouth to talk back before a familiar voice that belongs to their mom interrupted.
"Tristan! You're here, I didn't know you would be able to make it back early enough!" Their mom exclaimed before dropping down the cup of coffee and snacks I assume she left earlier to get on one of the benches and walking swiftly over to her son.
They embraced before she gave him a soft kiss on the forehead.
My schedule had been tight but I made sure I came home as fast as possible," he said immediately they broke the hug.
"Nevermind dear, I'm just so glad you're here," she said before flashing him a warm smile which he returned.
It was nice seeing her all 'lovey dovey' with her son but I was surprised that it wasn't the same when Timothy walked in.
Infact, I didn't know she could be this sweet.
"How have things been in school, I just hope you don't have any issues over there, if you do, you can always share them with me, you know that I'll readily listen and look for a way to help you....you know that..."
"Yeah...yeah, I know, but mom, you just need to calm down and don't over-stress yourself okay? I'm totally fine as you can see," he replied with a smirk, raising his hands to his sides a bit, moving a bit foward and backward, eastward ans westward, trying to show his mom how 'fine' he is.
"Yes, I know that you're a strong guy...As your mom, I've always known you from the start....Why do you think I'll let you go at the age of sixteen to study all the way in another country," she said with a huge smile on her pale face but it wasn't the same for me, I felt like she wasn't just being fair at all.
I felt Timothy leave my side, going towards the other end with heavy steps.
"Were are you going to? Leaving already?" His mom asked, diverting her attention from Tristan.
He stopped in his tracks.
"I'm not, besides the exit is the other way," he spat without even a glance back.
He continued walking.
"Your brother just came back after a very long ride and all you can do is stir up a fight with him?"
"I didn't start up a fight with him!" He loudly replied, finally turning back to face us.
"I noticed you both, Tim!"
"But you don't know what actually happened so you don't have the right to say anything about it!" He shouted back.
"Watch your mouth....you can't talk to mom like that!" Tristan shouted.
"Why don't you explain to her yourself! It's not my fault....She just likes getting on my nerves all the time...Y'all just like getting on my nerves and it's always so fuckin' annoying!"
I've never heard him curse before.
"Language!" His mom scolded.
"It doesn't matter anymore....I'm not nine," he replied.
"Tim...How can you..."
"Mom....never mind, just have a seat," Tristan said, cutting her off and holding her down.
"Even when you turn hundred, I'll still remain your mom!" She shouted, pointing her index finger at him.
"Mom, just calm down and have a seat, you shouldn't be shouting like this, it's not good for you," Tristan said, trying to calm her down and place her gently on the bench.
"I still have the right over you! I'm still your mom! You won't be the end of me!" She yelled before finally sitting down and breathing rapidly.
I didn't feel so good watching all these unfold in front of me.
Timothy turned back and continued walking in the same direction he was heading to earlier.
I had this urge to follow him and try to figure out how he was doing and maybe try to help in any way but I decided stay back for the fact that he might not want anyone around him at the moment.
I could tell he was angry and he seems a bit scary when he's angry.
To be honest, that part of him scares me a bit...
