A shadow cast 

long and straight,

It came from the past

full of sadness and hate,

A shadow seen

both in day and night,

Crooked and lean

a fearful sight,

A shadow following

where ever you go,

Darkness swallowing

never friend always foe,

A shadow creeps

with in your heart,

There your innocence sleeps

love and hope being torn apart.
