Gertrude believed neither in God nor Devil, yet she was upset when required to stay back on Friday the thirteenth, for she wanted to catch up on her favourite TV shows. Furiously, she set about printing copies of the documents, then collated and bound them.

Monday morning found her embarrassed and her boss bemused; fifty sets of printouts, ten times in each set, the word public had been printed as 'pubic'.

None could explain how the pdf document would always print with the same error. It gave a new twist to the phrase, 'the devil's in the (fine) print...'
