Joke me something awful just like kisses on the necks of "best friends"
"I HATE YOU!!! YOU SON OF A BITCH!!" You yelled at your ex. He grabbed for you and ou whipped around. "TOUCH ME AND I SWEAR TO GOD YOU LYING BASTARD!" He had just cheated on you and you found out through your best friend Pete. Your ex packed his stuff. He soon left and you had a semi empty apartment. You grabbed your phone and keys and left.

"Pete please be home," you muttered in the winter cold. You heard the click of the lock and sighed from relief. Pete stood in the doorway with open arms and you hugged him.
We're the kids who feel like dead ends
And I want to be known for my hits, not just my misses
"Pete.. why would he do that?" He sighed. "I have no idea Y/N...but he was stupid." You looked up at him.
"I took a shot and didn't even come close....I tried to love him... but there's just... someone else..." Pete looked at you. "What does that mean...?" You looked down. "I...I love you Pete...."
