"I think this is one of the best prologues I've read on this app. The reader is instantly plunged into a dark and brutal world where innocence is shattered by unimaginable horror.

I love that the author doesn't play around and starts the story on a high note, leaving no room for the reader to accommodate. It might be bothersome for some people, but I think it's a great way to start a story.

Another thing that the author managed to do skillfully is convey the intensity of Alana's pain and anger, making her transformation from a frightened child to a determined survivor.

The prologue is full of vivid imagery, but the scenes in which Alana confronts the Dragonesian stood out to me the most. The descriptions of the creature's transformation and the ensuing battle of wills are both terrifying and fascinating, drawing the reader deeper into this nightmare world.

The story does not shy away from the Dragonesian's brutality, but it also highlights Alana's remarkable inner strength and intelligence as she outwits her mother's murderer with a poisoned dagger."

Then the writing style, everything is vividly portrayed, and the story flows effortlessly. Alana is courageous at heart, and she's probably my favorite character. I love her fierceness and determination. As a reader, I can feel the pain and hardships. I also love the tense atmosphere that permeates every chapter from the start. The plot is incredibly well-thought-out, and I can already tell this is a story to get lost in. A special mention to the graphics-they're so unique and polished. The design is sleek and original. "One of the other characters tells us that 'Alana was truly strong, from her heart'. Even from the opening paragraphs, we have a clear sense of who Alana is - strong, and willing to fight for the people she cares about. But the years aren't kind. The storytelling is strong in showing us that Alana has endured much misery over the years, but she still fights for the promise of a happier future.

Her growing relationship with Leon adds another dimension to her personality. While she is still guarded, we see that Alana can still trust, and enjoy moments of childlike fun that she missed on. This helps to round her out as being more than just her strength.

The storytelling is vivid and well done, and there is always a sense that Alana has a bigger purpose.

The topic of humans and dragons didn't seem to be material for an original story at first, but I was quite amazed at the development of the plot as well as the characters' endurance for their chaotic world. I know this was an unedited edition, which means there's a thing or two that needs to be polished, but so far, it's one of the best fantasy worlds I've been submerged into."

It's a dark fantasy with a strong, badass FMC and a not-so-innocent dragon prince who is an equal partner in her darkness and the way she portrays her madness and anger is just chef's kiss. Loved the part where Alana kills the dragon that had devoured her mother in cold blood right in front of her. I was so hooked to the story from the beginning. The plot was amazing.
