📍Gangnam ; Nonhyeon
It's still cold, the trees are still lacking lustre and appearing to be as dead as ever. Taehyung certainly doesn't like this. He is waiting for spring to arrive and change the dull surrounding him with beautiful bright colours. The nature is so vivid, the way it changes it's face back and forth makes Taehyung think of all these humans who show different colors over the period. You can never truly known someone.
He grabbed a coffee from the cafeteria, of course not a plain one but filled with cream, sugar and milk. Taehyung can never imagine himself drinking the bland coffee and enjoying it. He was still clueless how people loved the bitter taste of it. And no matter how cold it gets, he is always getting a cold coffee in the chilliest days of winter.
He glanced at his phone still trying to recover from two hours of sleep he got because the guy was up late night playing games. He had English Literature for first period and Taehyung was thankful for that. Their English Teacher who was from Australia was very sweet person. Unlike their other uptight teachers, he was carefree and fun to be around. Though his Korean was quite funny sometimes.
But anyways he was planning to crash down in that class and sleep. Taehyung was least interested in getting good grades. He believed that grades didn't decide the future of any student. It's always the opportunities and how well you perform in real world. But the reason why he was upset for being late was because he would miss catching the glimpse of a girl he had eyes for awhile now.
Yun Jimin, his senior who was from architecture faculty was one of the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eye across. And if you ever ask Taehyung what was so special about her then he won't be able to answer. Because he had no words to, Taehyung felt speechless everytime she was around. She was quite a simple girl who hardly seem to talk to anyone. Subtle nature, calm personality and a pretty smile. Yun Jimin was truly a magnificent girl.
Kim Taehyung was an artist and he was aware that an art like Jimin could never escape his eyes.
But it was too late to be daydreaming about her because he won't see her until lunch break today. Taehyung entered the university campus and quickly spotted few of the students loitering around probably because they had no morning classes. He walked towards the second building where his classes were.
On the way he could see the football team doing their warmup. Just staring alone made Taehyung tired. He disliked physical activity or anything sport related. He was a fit person no lie but he would never enjoy himself sweating around and running after a ball.
So stupid.
He checked the time on his watch, he was 9 minutes late already. The empty coffee cup in hand now just a mere aesthetic as he didn't throw it away yet. He made his way towards the trash can placed near the ground as it was closer to him but soon regretted that as he was unaware of a guy just bumping into him. The impact made both Taehyung and the guy to roll down on the ground as series of curses came out of the brown haired boy.
"The fuck!..", Taehyung exclaimed.
He quickly gained the consciousness of his surrounding as he sat up from his lying position. The other boy who had toppled down with him nowhere to be seen.
"Taehyung? Are you blind man", the familiar voice made Taehyung look up. Of course it was none other than Jeon Jungkook. Jungkook who had crashed into Taehyung was looking all fine and had immediately stood up right after the fall unlike Taehyung who felt his arms going weak.
"Help me up you asshole!", Taehyung glared at the other who just laughed before lending a helping hand to the fallen boy. Taehyung got up and quickly dusted his brown cardigan.
Jeon Jungkook, the captain of football team of Hanyang University also an Art major was pain in the ass for Taehyung. The tall, stud and figuratively cocky boy was always around Taehyung which irritated him at times. They had became friends due to them having same major and almost sharing many classes but Taehyung wish he didn't because Jungkook was chaos. And it didn't appease Taehyung.
Taehyung was an artist and he could say that Jungkook was one of those abstract modern arts which made no sense and were plain stupid.
"I know I've a handsome face but how long would you keep staring boy?", the question made Taehyung roll his eyes as he picked up his green backpack from the ground.
"Until you disappear maybe?", the brown haired retorted in an unimpressed tone.
"Ouch, that-"
"And won't you like to say sorry for hitting me?", Taehyung spoke cutting Jungkook off. The black haired boy chuckled before putting his arms around Taehyung shoulder and pulling him along while the smaller fought back.
"Let me go, I've classes", Taehyung whined while Jungkook didn't let the boy escape. Taehyung just gave up because there was no chance in trying to win against this pig. Jungkook was quite muscular, did boxing as hobby, also played football and went to gym everyday.
Taehyung was nowhere near strong compared to the grip Jungkook had around him while he dragged him god knows where.
"Let me treat you to drink, since I hit you yeah?", came a short statement from the boy which made Taehyung nod. Maybe he should just skip the first period. They made their way to the drink machine which was closer to the football ground.
"Why are you late to classes today?", Jungkook asked curious about the boy who was never late, atleast lately he was always on time Jungkook recalls.
"Just slept late playing video games and then I couldn't make it on time since I barely got two hours of sleep. Also get off me, you reek of sweat!", he pushed Jungkook finally off him.
The man just laughed at the displeased expression of his friend and stopped right in front of the vending machine. "It's too cold for me to sweat Kim Taehyung, now tell me what would you like to get?".
"Milkis for me", Taehyung answered leaning against the machine.
"Alright then I'll get Ice coffee".
After Jungkook paid for them, both the boys decided to laze around the sitting area near the ground. "Don't you have practise?", Taehyung questioned as he enjoyed his free drink. "It's ok, I'm already better at it. And I need to make it up to you for hurting you right?", Jungkook smiled as he was gulping down the ice tea in one go. His neck bobbing up and down as the liquid rushed down.
"Slow down you pig, that's not how you drink", Taehyung complained while he drank his milkis with light sips.
"Now you're going to teach me that? Atleast I'm not sipping like a girl. You're drowning that each drop like it's last"
"So you're on of those boys", Taehyung simply replied which made Jungkook raise his brows as he glanced at the male waiting for an explanation.
"I mean one of those guys who throw remark while shading girls. Why don't you stop breathing because girls do that too?", the reply only made Jungkook eyes crinkle as he enjoyed riling up the little guy. He loved to address Taehyung as little guy even though he was just slightly smaller then him in height.
"You're funny", Jungkook said clearly loosing the argument they had going. Taehyung had finished his drink after taking all the time in the world while Jungkook just stared at the boy as he told him about the upcoming game to which Taehyung paid no mind to. He was least interested in football. But he just hummed to pretend that he was listening.
All the while his gaze was fixed on Architecture faculty building where he was hoping he could spot Jimin since the period was going to end soon. Jungkook noticed that and he clearly knew that Taehyung wasn't paying attention to anything he was saying. He was curious why the boy kept staring at another faculty building often.
"Why are you looking at that building, our faculty is here", Jungkook pointed to left while Taehyung quickly averted his eyes feeling embarassed as his ear turned red. And that didn't go unnoticed by the taller. Something was suspicious and he wanted to know the truth.
"I was just randomly zoning out, nothing much. Thinking of what to draw for my art project", He lied and anyone would have believed that but not Jungkook. He was with the Taehyung for more then a year now and he could easily catch Taehyung. But even if he did catch the lie he didn't point it out for now.
"I was thinking of drawing you", Jungkook spoke.
The statment made Taehyung turn to the Jungkook with baffled look. "Are you crazy?". Jungkook just shook his head at the question as he rested back on the seats making himself comfortable. "Why do you think that's crazy? The professor said to pick one of your friends or family as muse right?"
The answer still didn't explain why Jungkook wanted to draw him. Taehyung was sure maybe this was Jungkook's another way of troubling him or either he genuinely didn't knew anything about art. "Out of all your friends why me?", the brown haired ask confused.
"Why not? We're close and it would be easier for me to paint you since I see you everyday", the answer didn't seem legit to Taehyung but he didn't fight back.
"I know that, but you need to pick a beautiful muse, something that really inspires you and appeals to you. You can't randomly pick a muse Jungkook", and that made a huge silence fall between them as Jungkook didn't reply anything while Taehyung was expecting for a reply.
"I will now go for practice or else the coach will beat my ass for sure. Bye little guy", Jungkook ruffled Taehyung's hair earning a glare from the boy.
What a weirdo.
Taehyung ignored the boy and got up picking his bag. He had to be in class before the next period starts because he can't skip more classes. It was against his morals.
