The next morning, Jon woke up in his hotel room to the sound of Renee blow drying her hair.

"We are you going?" Jon asked when he noticed she was already dressed for the day.

"We're having breakfast with Seth and Becky." Renee told him.

"We?" Jon asked nervously.

Downstairs, Seth and Becky were waiting in the hotel breakfast area for Jon and Renee to come down. Seth was trying to fix his hair the best he could while Becky texted Finn.

"Are we still on for today?"
-Becky

"Yeah. I'll be there in about an hour."
-Finn

Seth suddenly looked up form the table as Jon walked in with Renee. He sat up and cleared his throat as they approached.

"Good morning, you guys!" Renee said as she greeted Seth with a hug first.

Seth glanced over Renee's shoulder at Jon for a moment. As Renee now hugged Becky, Jon scratched the back of his head and gave Seth an awkward look. Everyone took their seats.

Upstairs, Roman was on the phone with his wife, Galina.

"I just think that if some other man is going to be spending time with my daughter then I should at least meet him first." Roman said in frustration.

"Roger is a great guy, Joe. Besides, Jojo loves spending time with him." Galina assured him.

"I don't care. I want to meet him." Roman told her.

"Fine. Why don't we have diner this Wednesday?" Galina asked.

"I've got a live event in Seattle that night. Can we do Thursday?" Roman asked.

"Fine." Galina agreed.

"Okay, I'll see you guys then."
Roman said.

"Goodbye, Joe." Galina said in annoyance.

"I love you-." Roman began to say before Galina hung up the phone.

Back downstairs, Jon, Renee, Seth and Becky were in the middle of breakfast.

"So are you guys living together yet?" Renee asked.

Jon looked across the table at Seth with an uncomfortable sense of curiosity.

"Not yet but as soon as we get some extra time off we're going to move my stuff to his place." Becky said as she grabbed Seth's hand.

Jon got an nauseous feeling in his stomach when he saw Seth intertwine his fingers with hers.

"Oh, so you're still living in Nashville right now?" Renee asked.

"Yeah." Becky told her.

"Maybe I'll stop by next time we're in town." Renee said.

"Yeah, that'd be great." Becky said as Seth gave Jon an apologetic look.

Renee's phone suddenly buzzed.

"I'm outside with our car. You coming?"
     -Brandi

"Was that Punk?" Jon asked with irritation in his voice.

"It's Brandi, we're going to get our nails done. Do you want to go, Becks?" Renee asked.

"No, I actually have plans with Finn." Becky said.

"You do?" Seth asked.

Becky tucked her hair behind her ear awkwardly.

"Yeah, I thought I mentioned that to you?" Becky asked.

"No, I don't think you did.. But it's cool." Seth told her.

"Yeah?" Becky asked him.

"Yeah. With you girls out of the way, Jon and I here will finally have a chance to catch up." Seth said as he brought his attention to Jon.

"Okay, great. Have a good time, babe." Renee said as she kissed Jon goodbye.

Seth froze for a moment as he watched Jon and Renee's lips touch. Seth looked down at the table as Renee walked off. Becky got up as Finn pulled up in a black Jeep with the top down.

"I'll see you later?" Becky asked as Seth stood up to face her.

Jon got up too and glanced over as Seth held Becky's waist. Seth leaned down and kissed her on the lips.

"See ya." Seth told her.

Becky smiled back at Seth before walking away. Seth waited until she was gone before he brought his attention to Jon.

"Feel like going for a hike?" Seth asked.

Outside the hotel, Becky walked outside to find Finn wearing a pair of sunglasses and chewing gum like some kind of college jock.

"What are you wearing?" Becky laughed as she climbed in the Jeep.

"I look hot, right?" Finn asked as he flashed a sexy pose.

Becky rolled her eyes and let out a playful laugh as Finn sped off.

A couple miles from the hotel, Seth had convinced Jon to follow him on a hiking trail overlooking the city. Seth was wearing black shorts with his shirt off while Jon, also with his shirt off, wore grey shorts.

"I know what you're doing." Jon said as he followed behind him.

"What would that be?" Seth asked.

"Avoiding the inevitably awkward conversation that we're gonna have. Jon told him.

Seth laughed to himself for a moment.

"Sometimes I forget how well you know me, man." Seth said as they continued hiking.

Jon finally stopped and watched Seth for a moment.

"When did you start seeing her?" Jon asked curiously.

Seth stopped walking but kept his back turned to Dean.

"Jon." Seth tried to say.

"You know I'm going I find out eventually so you'd might as well tell me now." Jon said.

Seth turned around and let out a sigh.

"We got together in January." Seth said suddenly.

Jon stared at Seth is disbelief.

"January, huh?" Jon asked with irritation.

"It's not what you think." Seth tried to explain.

"Yeah.. it's exactly what I think." Jon told him.

Seth's sighed in frustration as Jon began to walk away.

"I meant what I said that night!" Seth said suddenly.

Jon stopped with his back now turned to Seth.

"I meant every word, Jon." Seth said seriously.

Jon felt his heart begin to beat faster as he heard Seth walking slowly towards him.

"You're the one that didn't want this." Seth told him.

"Fuck you." Jon said as he turned around to face Seth.

Seth and Jon looked into each others eyes for a moment.

"Can you just stop being so defensive for ten minutes and be here with me?" Seth asked him.

Jon took a deep breath as Seth grabbed his hand. Seth began to lead Jon over to the edge of the cliff they were climbing. Jon gave him a reluctant look as he sat down.

"Ten minutes." Seth said as he looked up at him.

Jon shook his head and took another deep breath before sitting down next to Seth. They both looked out and took in the view of the city. Seth reached over and grabbed Jon's hand again. Jon looked down with a warmth in his heart as Seth scooted a little closer to him. Both their hearts pounded in their chests as their stomachs filled with butterflies. Jon playfully rubbed his leg up against Seth's, getting a small laugh out of him.

"I ordered a Moxley t-shirt from pro wrestling tees." Seth told him.

"No you didn't." Jon laughed.

"I really did, man. I'm gonna wear it on Raw this week." Seth joked.

Jon let out an even louder laugh.

"But seriously though, I watched your match with Janela.." Seth began to say.

"And?" Jon asked.

"Maybe you should take it down a notch. I mean some of that shit you were doing was a little much." Seth said.

Jon looked over at Seth for a moment and let out a half smile.

"Are you worried about me or somethin'?" Jon asked.

"You know I am." Seth said seriously.

Jon knew by the expression of Seth's face that he wasn't joking around anymore.

"I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything because I know hardcore is your thing, but with all that and your elbow still trying to heal and no one being there for you, I just-." Seth began to tell him.

"I've got Renee." Jon told him.

Seth gave Jon a disapproving look.

"I know and I love Renee to death but we both know she isn't-." Seth began to say.

"You?" Jon asked suddenly.

Seth looked up into Jon's eyes just as he leaned in and pressed his lips against his. Jon grabbed Seth's face as they shared a slow, passionate kiss. As they pulled away, the two men looked into each others eyes again.

"Where are you guys this week? I finish up my loop on the west coat this Wednesday." Seth told him.

"I'm in Indianapolis on Wednesday." Jon told him with hesitance.

Seth thought to himself for a moment as he and Jon stayed face to face.

"What if I fly out to see you? The flight from Seattle to Indy is like four hours and there is a three hour time difference. I'd get into the city like an hour after you guys go off the air." Seth told him.

"You're serious, aren't you?" Jon asked in amusement.

"Come on, it'd give us time to talk about things and-." Seth began j tell him.

"And what?" Jon asked.

"And other stuff." Seth said with a slight smirk on his face.

Jon let out a slight smile as he admired Seth's eyes.

Suddenly, a small group of fans took notice of Jon and Seth.

"Moxley?" A fan asked as they approached them.

Seth and Jon quickly got up and distanced themselves from each other.

"Can we get a picture with you guys?" Another fan asked.

"Sure." Seth asked.

Jon gave Seth and uncomfortable look as the fans posed with them.

"Where's Becky at?" A fan asked Seth.

Before Seth could answer, another fan asked a follow up question.

"Aren't you guys dating?" The fan asked.

"Wait, Why are you guys together? Are you coming back to WWE?" The other fan asked.

"Or are you going to AEW?" A fan now asked Seth.

"Alright, that's enough of that." Jon said as he got behind Seth and helped lead him away from the fans.

Jon put his hand on Seth's back and lead him down the hiking trail.

At the beach, Finn and Becky were walking along the shore. Not many people were at the beach and those who were, clearly didn't recognize Becky and Finn.

"So I've been meaning to talk to you about something, Becks.." Finn tried to say.

"Okay.." Becky said with a bit of curiosity.

Finn stopped walking and faced Becky.

"We've been friends for awhile now.. And to think we went from me training you back in Ireland when you were just a teenager to us both coming to WWE.. it just seems like fate keeps putting us together, you know?" Finn tried to say.

"What are you talking about?"
Becky asked in confusion.

Finn looked into Becky's eyes and tried to work up the nerve to say what he had been wanting to say for years.

"Finn?" Becky asked as he stared at her for a moment.

Before Becky knew what was going on, Finn leaned in and kissed her. It happened so quickly that Becky couldn't even think straight.  After a few seconds,  Becky finally pulled away from him.

"I'm in love with you." Finn told her.

Becky felt her heart sink down to her stomach as she tried to comprehend what Finn was telling her. He waited hopefully for Becky to respond.

"I'm seeing someone." Becky said with caution.

The look on Finn's face quickly turned to disappointment.

"You what?" Finn asked in confusion.

"I'm with someone else, Finn." Becky told him.

"Okay.. But this is me and you, Becks.  Whoever this guy is, he isn't me.  You and I-." Finn began to say as he reached for her hand.

"We're friends.." Becky said as she pulled her hand away.

Finn stood there in humiliation as Becky gave him an apologetic look.

"We're just friends, Finn." Becky told him.

Finn was completely dismayed by Becky's response. He'd been waiting for the right moment to finally confess his feelings for her but never in a million years had he imagined this response.

The wrestling world had been buzzing all day about CM Punk's new role with WWE Backstage. By that afternoon, fans online were now speculating over the photo of former shield members, together in an apparent hike. On top of all of that, rumors were also going around about Becky and Seth's possible relationship. There was plenty of drama and speculation to go around but at the end of the day, no one would ever know what was really going on behind closed doors.

Later into the evening, Roman was drinking by himself in his hotel room when someone knocked on his door.

"Becks?" He asked as she let herself in.

"Finn just kissed me." Becky said as she took the beer out of Roman's hands.

Roman watched as Becky began chugging down what was left of the beer.

"Finn as in Finn Balor?" Roman asked.

Becky nodded her head as she gave Roman a worrisome look.

"Shit. Did you tell Seth?" Roman asked.

"Not yet.. I mean, should I even tell him?" Becky asked.

Roman got an unsettling feeling in his stomach when he saw the concerning look in Becky's eyes.

"I don't know.. But I think I'm gonna need some more beer."
Roman told her.

Chicago, Illinois

That night, Aj Lee was saying her goodbyes to her husband, Phil as he awaited his debut on Fox that Tuesday night.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" Phil asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Aj asked as she handed Phil one of his bags.

"Well when I told you I'd be working with Renee you just seemed a little upset."  Phil said.

"I trust you." Aj said as she grabbed his face.

Phil let out a slight smile and leaned in to kiss her. As they shared an intimate kiss, Aj brought her foot off the ground.

"I love you." Phil said before grabbing his bags.

"I love you, too." Aj said as he walked out the front door.

Jacksonville, Florida

Monday morning, Cody Rhodes met with his wife Brandi, Tony Kahn, Matt and Nick Jackson, as well as Kenny Omega at AEW headquarters.

"Look, I know we're all bummed out about losing Punk but I think I have a solution." Cody told everyone.

Brandi gave her husband a nod of approval to continue as the others listened with intrigue.

"Having Punk would have ended this war before it even started, we all know that. But it's also important to remember that he signed with fox, not WWE. But regardless, we still need someone knew. We need someone controversial. We need someone that will get people talking. We need someone that will let people know we are not playing around." Cody told everyone.

Nick and Matt looked at each other questionably for a moment as Tony brought his attention to the doorway.

"No fucking way." Kenny let out.

Cody and Brandy both let out satisfying smiles as Aj Lee walked into the conference room.

"We need a secret weapon." Cody said as smiled over at Aj.
