Oliver sighed as he walked into the base, slamming his arrow down as he rubbed at the stubble that had formed over his jaw. He could hear Diggle's heavy footsteps behind him as the rest of the team all jumped at the loud noise of the metal bow hitting the glass table.

Felicity looked at him with slight sympathy, knowing that the mission that the two men had just been on hadn't gone the way that they had hoped for at all. Moving forward, she gently rested a hand on his arm as he sighed while looking at the rest of the team.

"We should have stopped him if we had just gotten there quicker," Oliver gruffly muttered out, blaming himself for their failure to prevent the murderer from escaping.

"We tried our hardest, man," Diggle told him, patting his shoulder as he moved past the man to hang his jacket up on the back of one of the chairs. Oliver nodded in defeat, knowing that they would have another chance to stop the man later on.

Looking around and noticing that there was one of the newer members of their team missing, Oliver turned to Curtis and Dinah in confusion.

"Where did Rene go?"

His question was answered by the door opening and the man in question strolling into the room with a rather large take-out order from Big Belly Burger in his hands and an even larger smile across his face. Noticing Oliver's unimpressed look, he faltered for a second before the man dropped the guise and appreciatively smiled at the box that he was passed once the food had been sat down on the table.

Just as they all began to dig in - no-one mentioning their loss - Felicity noticed the small envelope that Rene had carried in with the take-out. Moving to look at it, she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she studied the writing on the front.

"Mr Hood Smoak and His Friends?" She read out loud, scoffing as she lifted the envelope for the rest to see.

Oliver stopped eating immediately, a rush of confusion and danger entering his chest as he realised that the letter was obviously addressed to the team. Noticing that everyone had turned to study his reaction to the letter, he moved forward and received it from Felicity's outstretched hand.

Turning it over, he noticed that there was no return address, but rather a series of numbers.

"12282017?" He questioned, confused at what he was reading.

"Who puts numbers as a return address?"

Iris stood beside Caitlin with a soft smile on her face as the two girls watched Barry and Cisco playfully banter about the Christmas decorations that they were attempting to hang up around the labs. She would have loved to say that the boys had been great at team working when it came to the task at hand, but the fact that Joe had managed to decorate half of the room before they had even picked out one bauble for the tree seemed to tell her otherwise.

Caitlin smiled as Joe sighed, joining the two girls as they watched the boys bicker about what colour scheme would look better on the tree: Cisco's idea of blue and grey or Barry's plea of red and yellow.

"Can someone please just pick something?" Harry asked, walking into the room with a handful of letters as he sat down at the office chair behind the control panel of the main room. Dumping the letters to his right, the man swung his feet on to the table as he began to make his way through them.

Barry took this as his final attempt to make Cisco agree before turning to the man with a mischievous smirk on his face. Cisco gasped, as if he had been hurt as he caught on to what Barry was about to do.

"NO, THAT IS CHEAT..." Cisco began to yell, but his sentence turned into a sigh halfway through as the red and yellow lighting streaks sped around the room, all of the red and yellow baubles now hung neatly across every spare inch of the tree - with some bonus ones hanging on various other ornaments that Joe had hung up.

Laughter erupted in the room as Cisco muttered angrily to himself, knowing that he wasn't really offended that much by the cheating.

"Why has Ralph sent us a Christmas Card?" Caitlin asked as she peered at the card that Harry had just opened. The stack of cards from different allies and friends on the table was almost all fully opened, but there was one white and black envelope that rested at the bottom of the pile untouched.

Hardy shrugged, throwing it over his shoulder as he moved on to the final envelope. Pausing as he noticed the name above the star labs address, he turned it around so that the rest of the team could see what was printed on the front.

"Second Fastest Man Alive?" Joe questioned, causing everyone to look at the letter in confusion.

Noticing that everyone had turned to face Barry, the man feigned offence as he realised that they were all waiting for him to open the envelope. Blinking as he held a hand to his heart, he looked back at them all in hurt.

"Well it's obviously for Wally," he explained, moving to snatch the letter from Harry's hand anyway.

Something had felt strange for Kara Danvers the whole day. There had been a weird feeling in the air of the DEO and her own apartment, and she just wasn't sure what it was. Even Alex had noticed it, commenting that very morning that she had woken up feeling almost queasy with nerves but for no apparent reason.

The Danvers sisters had finally came to the conclusion that maybe having a girl's night in at Kara's would help to ease the constant floating butterfly feeling that they were getting in their stomachs. Heading back to her apartment from the DEO, Kara was joking around with Alex about old memories as she unlocked her door.

"His face when you burst through the wall was unforgettable," Alex exclaimed, laughing as they remembered the time that they had taken down the corrupt Sherriff of their town when being teenagers. Kara went to answer but found herself pausing as she opened the door to her apartment.

Letting out a loud squeal of shock, Alex's hand went straight to where her gun rested in the back of her black jeans as she noticed the tall man standing in Kara's apartment.

"Oh hey guys! I've been wondering when you would get back!"

Sighing in surprise, Alex rammed her gun back into the hidden holster as Kara yelled in delight, running over and wrapping her arms around the man. Smiling over her shoulder at Alex, Cisco Ramone looked between the sisters with a content grin plastered across his face as he freed himself from Kara's bone crushing hug.

"No offence Cisco," Alex started, trying to calm down her fast beating heart from the surprise that she had gotten. "But why are you here? Has something happened?"

The man shook his head, having forgotten why he had vibed into their Earth. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a crumpled black and white envelope. Sheepishly smiling at the state that he had caused it to take Cisco passed the letter across to Kara who squinted at the material in her hands.

"Our favourite Supergirl... and her sister Kara?" She questioned, confused as she looked at the address on the letter. Alex scoffed at the fact that someone was referring to her as the more super of the sisters - something that had never happened to her before. Looking over Kara's shoulder, she was surprised to see that the letter had been addressed exactly at that.

Looking back over to Cisco, the man simply nodded towards the envelope.

"Read it," he told them. "It's some good stuff."

___

"Sorry, you did WHAT?"

Callie heaved in a breath, trying to let oxygen get to her lungs in between the laughs that were wrenching from her body. Sara sent her a slightly unimpressed look but everyone could tell that the blonde did find the current situation funny too.

Mick shrugged, not caring that Sara was trying to be professional and not praise him for his efforts. Taking a sip from the cold beer in his hands, he passed another one to Callie as the raven-haired girl grinned at him from where she was sitting on the leather armchair in the Captain's Lounge.

"Stealing a whole store's worth of toasters and returning them for store credit?" Nate clarified, a grin also on his face as he took in the news that Mick had shared with them all. "Now that's a genius idea."

Ray nodded, his hair flapping above his eyes as he gleamed across the room. "And giving it to Barry and Iris is such a charitable thing to do Mick, I'm really proud of you."

"That's enough of that sentimental crap Haircut or the next wedding gift I'll give will be your burned ashes," Mick grumbled at him, his eyes narrowed as he shot the scientist a look.

Amaya, Zari and Jax walked back into the room with soft smiles on their faces as they returned from the task that they had been sent on by Callie and Sara.

"All good?" Callie checked, rubbing her hands excitedly as she looked at her three friends. While she had not really had much of a chance to get to know Zari, Sara and the others had been filling her in on her joining process of the team and everything that had been going on since her fake death.

Zari smiles widely, nodding to confirm her question. Grinning widely, Sara turned to smile at Callie as they both realised exactly what they were doing.

"Letters have all been dropped off and should be received," Amaya clarified, leaning against the table at the side of the room next to Nate as she tried to hide her excitement for the two women standing in front of them all.

"No Nazi's seem to be in Star City," Zari said, a teasing smile on her face as she looked at the two.

"And a venue has been sorted," Jax finished, surprising them both as they hadn't expected the boy to have done that for them - truth was, they hadn't even found out what address Amaya had written on the letters before sending them out.

"Where?" Callie asked, a lop-sided grin forming on her lips. Sara nudged her slightly with her hip, trying to keep their PDA to a minimum but also knowing that the team could handle a little touch here and there.

"You're going to love it," Jax told them, looking between the couple as he recalled one of the first things that he had learnt about Sara and Callie's past. "As a true romantic gesture, it's the place where you first met."

___

Oliver looked up from the envelope as he read the words on the printed card. The black, white and gold on the card was a lot fancier than he was expected when he noticed who the sender was, and he immediately knew that they had not made these themselves, but rather one of their team had.

"Does everyone still have their wedding outfits?" Oliver asked, a small smile on his face as he turned the card around for them all to see. "Cause we're going to another one."

Felicity squealed, snatching the card from his hands as she quickly scanned over the invitation that he had been holding.

"Wait, Queen Manor?" She asked as she reached the end of the invitation.

Oliver smiled, looking at everyone else who seemed confused. Mainly because they still weren't sure whose wedding it was and why they were all invited.

"It's where Callie and Sara first met," he explained, pausing as he remembered the day. "I can't believe they're finally getting married."
