Damon took Bonnie home after everyone was back to the real world and Katniss also left to the place she was staying at, leaving the couples alone.

April gave Kol a few blood bags that she microwaved, trying to be useful even if she was just human.

"Darling, you don't have to stay if you don't want to. You've seen the things I did. I will understand if you want to leave and never see me again."

"Can we not talk about that?" April asked with a nervous smile.

"Why not?" Kol asked.

"Because I don't want to think about it, okay?"

"You are thinking in ending things with me, aren't you?" Kol asked. "I can't blame you. One thing is hearing someone say that I've killed people, another is actually seeing it."

"Kol, it was a lot to take in. I knew you had killed people and my father had shown me photos of a few bodies that you drained but now it become an whole new level of real and... I still am processing everything."

"You are afraid of me." Kol whispered.

"No. I'm not afraid of you. I just... I don't want to talk or think about that now. Please let's not talk about this today. It's been a big day filled with emotions and I went to inside your mind which is completely different than I was expecting."

"If you're not afraid then why didn't you kissed me since we got back?" Kol whispered.

"I was too worried with you to think in making out." April said. "I just saw your memories. Things that you probably never shared with anyone else... It was so private... And I felt you so afraid and nervous... then we got back and I still can't believe you are here. It's been a month of you in a coma state. It's been awful."

"Come here, darling." Kol whispered and hugged her tightly, then they broke the hug and April kissed him softly.

"I missed you so much..." April whispered and kissed Kol again.

*Meanwhile*

Elijah was in his bedroom with Elena and she was telling him how things were when they were unconscious.

"I almost forgot, I got something for you. I wanted to surprise you once you'd be back." Elena said with a smile and took from Elijah's nightstand a box that was wrapped.

"You didn't had to do this, Elena."

"It was just a little something." Elena said and when Elijah opened the gift, he saw it was a picture of the two of them in a beautiful frame. "I noticed you didn't had many pictures in your bedroom and pictures always make the place feel more home-y."

"It's the best gift anyone ever given me. I love it." Elijah whispered and put the framed picture on his nightstand.

"Bonnie is right, we do make a cute couple." Elena said, making Elijah smile and kiss her.

"You know... I used to wonder why would my siblings and I be the first vampires from all the people that could happen to, now I know that I turn into a vampire just so I could find my way to you. I used to think it would be Tatia or Katerina but no... I was destined to find you."

"And I was destined to turn just so I could spend forever with you." Elena smiled and kissed Elijah with everything she had.

*Meanwhile*

Klaus and Caroline were in his room and after they were having a big talk about their relationship.

"How am I suppose to believe that an amazing, beautiful, kind, smart and strong woman like you can love someone like me?"

"Because I do love you."

"How can you love me after you seeing my memories?"

"Seeing your memories just made me admire you even more. I know you act like a big bad wolf and you used to make people think that you were this emotionless monster but I've seen through that. And I know you have these commitment and abandonment issues that make you destroy your own happiness but I won't let you do that with us. Do you even have any idea what I went through this month? I was a complete wreck." Caroline whispered and then she showed him the memories of all the ways she tried to bring him back and every time she broke down into tears, how she stayed days in his room trying to do something and how her world collapsed when she saw him in his studio unconscious. "The only thing that made me not turn it off was hoping that we would find a way to get you back. I love you so much. And I can't explain how I know this but I know we belong together. We have chemistry and we have this connection that... It almost feels like we made the entire wolf ritual even if we didn't completed and was a week of torture."

"Are you saying that you see me as your mate?" Klaus smirked with his eyes glowing golden.

"I know that you are my mate." Caroline whispered and asked shyly and a bit nervous. "Do you think I am your mate?"

"I don't have a doubt about it." He smirked with his eyes going back to blue and he kissed her softly.

"And Niklaus Mikaelson..." Caroline whispered, breaking the kiss, then said as she punched his chest. "Don't you dare do something like that ever again!"

"Ouch! I love when you get all fierce and tough." Klaus smirked but Caroline gave him a look. "I'll try my best."

*Meanwhile*

Stefan was still in Rebekah's room and even after Rebekah saying a bunch of times that she was alright, Stefan convinced her in laying down and resting for a bit, and she only accepted because he promised he would stay with her.

"What are you thinking about?" Stefan whispered, with his arm wrapped around her, noticing she was thinking deeply about something.

"April saw Kol's memories. She saw the monstrous things we are capable of doing." Rebekah whispered. "Do you think after everything she saw she will be able to keep being our friend? Do you think she will be able to still see us as good people? What if she now just see us as monsters?"

"She probably is still processing everything. Give her some time to process everything that she saw." Stefan whispered. "But I think that she will stay by your side. I mean, she gave us proof of her loyalty and friendship more than once. When we and Kol were being tortured by her father she stayed on our side and was even capable of shooting her own father for us. When she found out about us, she decided to give us a chance to show her we were not monsters. She is loving with her father because of a deal that would make us be safer. She's a loyal friend. But you need to see that she went through a lot in such a short time that she might need space."

"I know. It's just... She was my first real female friend. I've never been able to make many friendships, much less with girls and whenever I thought a girl was becoming my friend, I would eventually realize it was only because she was interested in one of my brothers or because she wanted to get close to us to find out weaknesses. April was the first person in this town who was kind to me without any second intentions. And it would really suck to lose her as a friend." Rebekah admitted and sigh, then noticed Stefan looking at her in admiration. "What?"

"Nothing. It's just... You have such a good heart. I mean, you just went through a lot but instead of thinking about that, you are worrying about April, how she is reacting to all of this and worrying about your friendship. Most people who would be in your situation, would be worry about their well being and in getting stronger." Stefan said. "You are the most incredible woman I ever met."
