Niklaus, Rebekah, Elijah and Kol woke up in the place they once called home, when they were human.

"What the bloody hell?" Kol whispered.

"This is mother's doing." Klaus growled.

"Why would I do this?" Esther asked, appearing with fruit.

"Because you can't let us be." Rebekah said upset.

"Mother, why are we here? How can we come back?" Elijah asked, trying to remain calm because his siblings sure weren't going to try to be calm.

"I don't know the reason of why we are here. This was a doing of a witch. Not me. But I do know this type of spell." Esther said, then pointed to the front door. "As you can see, that door is the only modern thing we have here, besides our clothes and it has 5 locks. We need to find a key to get back home. It's hidden in a place that means something to each of us."

"What?" Rebekah asked in disbelief.

"A bloody treasure hunt?" Kol said angry.

"And who might be behind this, mother?" Klaus asked, suspicious of Esther.

"I have no idea. Might be a witch you've wronged or ancestors trying to hurt us."

"Hurt us?" Elijah asked.

"I know they hate vampires and even if I came back as a witch, im sure they aren't pleased with me being back. I was the one who started this." Esther said.

Rebekah and Kol left to find their keys, while Elijah tried to calm Klaus down and try to make him focus on going back home.

As they all search for the keys, they suddenly heard a voice in their heads.

'Because you've been playing nice, I will tell you this: an hour in here will be a week in the real world.'

"A week?!" Klaus growled.

"Nik, we all are upset. Just try to focus on finding your bloody key." Rebekah said.

After an hour, they still had no idea where were the keys and heard Esther calling them, so they ran to her, hoping she had found something.

"It's been almost two hours. Which means in the real world it's been two weeks." Esther said.

"We know!" Kol said frustrated.

"I think you should try to eat some fruit. I've noticed you getting slightly weaker and starting to show signs of fatigue. You're getting tired and hungry. I know human food isn't much for you but it's something that can stop you from getting more hungry." Esther said.

"Thank you." Elijah said and took an apple, but Klaus stole Elijah's apple.

"How do we know this isn't part of your plan and it's not poisonous?" Klaus asked.

"Because we are not Snow White." Rebekah said.

"Niklaus, there's no need for being so paranoid. But if it makes you feel better, I'll eat it." Esther said and took a bite of the apple.

"Niklaus, Mother seems to try to help us." Elijah whispered to Klaus.

"Just because something seems real, doesn't necessary mean it is." Niklaus said.

*Meanwhile*

It's been almost two weeks since the Mikaelsons got unconscious. April tried once to give Kol her blood but didn't work, he didn't reacted.

Bonnie did her best to help her friends in trying to figure out what was going on but the spell that was put on the Mikaelson was very well protected and every time she came close, she passed out, making Damon so worried that convinced Bonnie in stopping making big spells for the time being and in resting.

Stefan spend his time reading books from his library as well as the Mikaelson's library, wanting to find something that could help them out but nothing.

Each day, they felt more at lost but they had no intentions of giving up on the Mikaelsons.

Caroline was now arguing with Katniss, the witch Rebekah called when Elena passed out. They were arguing because Katniss kept saying there was nothing anyone could do and Caroline was upset because she couldn't accept that and also because Katniss never tried a powerful spell like Bonnie did, which in Caroline's eyes make it seem like Katniss didn't cared enough about the Mikaelsons.

"Why not make the spell Bonnie tried to do?"

"Because I'm not that much stronger than Bonnie, who happens to be a powerful Bennett witch. I care about the Mikaelsons but I'm not going to die for them."

"What can you do, then?" Caroline asked frustrated. "We need to get them back. You claim you are powerful and want to help the Mikaelsons, now it's time to show it. I am doing everything I can. Everyone is trying. You better try to figure it out and find a way to get them back. Th-They can't stay like this forever!"

"If they get stuck in their memories, I'll be able to connect you and make you look for Klaus in his memories."

"Maybe that's what happening. Do that!" Caroline said.

"It's not what is happening. They are still in a spell and they seem to be in a place together. I will know if and when they be stuck in their mind."

"Then if they do, you'll tell us right away and we will connect with them." Caroline said and Katniss nodded, then left.

When Caroline was discussing with Katniss, Elena was in Elijah's bedroom with medical things that she compelled someone to program so she could see his heartbeat, breathing and how everything was. She had to compel someone to program the machines because as they were usual, made it unable to be used for vampires but after being programmed to find faster heartbeats than usual, Elena was able to hear Elijah's heartbeats and see how he was.

"Elena, I brought you this." Alaric whispered, entering in Elijah's bedroom.

"I'm not hungry."

"Elena, you should get some rest. You barely got out of this room since Elijah passed out. You need to sleep and eat."

"How can I do that when I have no idea how to bring him back?" Elena said in tears. "I love him. I can't lose him."

"Come here, Elena." Alaric whispered and hugged Elena.

While Elena and Alaric hugged, Stefan was in Rebekah's room talking to an unconscious Rebekah.

"If you were awake, you would be saying how I worry too much and how you can take care of yourself... You are so much stronger than me... And I'm not only saying in the physical kicking ass way... you are so much braver than me. And you don't freak out over things." Stefan smiled a bit to himself. "I know you will get through this spell and be back, saying how cheesy I am. I just... I wished I could find a way to help you. I know you never respond to my blood but I will try every day to give you some of it because maybe one day it will help."

Stefan bite his wrist and gave it to Rebekah, who didn't reacted, making Stefan disappointed with himself because he couldn't find another way to help Rebekah and for him it was unbearable to see her suffering and not be able to do a thing about it.

Caroline was back at Klaus's room and Liz went to see how she was handling things.

"Mom, I don't know what to do? I feel so useless... I tried giving him blood bags, human blood, animal blood, my blood... nothing helped... and I see him getting weaker and it pains me not being able to anything to help him."

"Sweetie, you can't be like this. Klaus will get through this. He is immortal and he is living for a thousand years, which just shows he knows how to take care of himself."

"You don't get it, mom. Nik and I had this connection and..."

"Of course I know. I know what's like to be young and in love."

"It's more than that, mom." Caroline said. "We love each other. We made plans for our future together. And... we even talked about doing this werewolf ritual."

"What? That's... That's a bond that stays with you forever."

"And we want to be together forever, mom. I love him and he loves me and... we just have this connection that I can't explain." Caroline whispered.

"You think he is the one?"

"I know he is. I just hope I'm his too."

"You are. I've seen the way he looks at you. It's like no one else is in the room. He loves you." Liz whispered and gave a peck on Caroline's forehead. "Take care of yourself. I know that's what Klaus would want."
