Kristein's P.O.V.

I came out of her room and moved downstairs hasitly. I don't want to stay another moment here, it's killing me inside.

I was a fool that I even thought me and shan can make a good pair, how can we stay together when she hates me so much and planned to ask Helen for help to keep me away from her.

Seriously?? Silly girl!

Helen was one of my good friend only but she too broke my trust. From past seven days she was behaving odd but I ignored it. She kept on trying to flirt with me, to extreme she even tried to seduce me. It's really was out of my imagination.But when she couldn't take any much of rejection from my side she brust out in anger and informed me that she's doing all this because shanaya asked her to do so.

I didn't believed her at first but then she gave me her call recording and then whatever I heard was beyond my expectations. Shan actually called her and asker her to make me fall in love with Helen. This was too much for me to take. Why did she do this?

I actually feel disheartened!!

My lungs squeezed tightly and I felt suffocated. I can never believe that shan would hate me so much, and here I was going crazy for her. What was I expecting actually? She hated me from day one and so do I.. But time turned it's table and I fall in love with her.

So what?

Is it my fault to love someone? Is it my mistake to trust her, to care for her and to plan a dream future with her. No, right? But I guess my love isn't that intense which could replace Daniel from her heart and her mind. I'm felling like a looser!! A bloody freaking looser, who can't get his love.

I clenched my jaws and marched fastly towards the entrance but Zac stopped me in my tracks.

"Kris, what happened?", He asked raising his eyebrows.

When I came here, I didn't talk to him, because something important was to be taken care of. But I'm done now!!

"Nothing. I'm leaving. My work here is done", I replied coldly.

"Why are you so angry? Did you guys fought?", Olivia asked.

Why do you care?

"I've to go", I replied curtly and left from there. I don't want to be rude to anyone, but right now I need space. I need to go far away from everyone.

How could she do this to me? She betrayed me!! She has no right to play with my emotions. Who gave her the permission to fool around with my heart?

You yourself gave your heart to her, remember? My mind reminded me.

I'm a fool, an idiot..an imbecile who trusted her!!

I was about to move out of the main gate when someone holds my hand from behind, tightly.

"Stop", a familiar voice echoed in my ears. I turned around and saw shan breathing heavily as if she's been to an Olympic race.

"What do you want now? Aren't you done yet?", I by now lose my temper. I jerked my hands away from her..

"You can't walk away like this", she said now a bit calmed regaining her uneven breath.

"What do you mean?", I asked angrily.

"You can't cancel the marriage", she said.

Oh, really!!

"Why? When you can plan anything without my permission, when you can send someone to make me out of your life, then why can't I take any decision regarding my life?", I asked.

"Because I'm saying!", She replied.

"Who're you to say anything to me?", I snapped.

"You're fiance", she replied raising her eyebrows.

"You were.. but now", I told her pointing at her ring finger, "You're not".

"Is this what you really want?", She asked.

"Yes, I'm letting you go and this is what 'YOU' want", I told her coldly.

"Fine, then let me also free you", she said and immediately hold my hands and pulled out my ring.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing?", I whimpered.

"I'm also giving you freedom from me", she spoke and keep the ring inside her knee length jeans pocket.

"Gimme my ring back shan", I asked her by showing my palm.

"First give me my ring back", she too show me her tiny cute small palm and stand in front of me like a child.

How cute?

Grr.. Focus man, you're not here to drool over her.

Yea, right.

"I won't. You send Helen after me, you hurted me so I've all the rights to keep you away from me", I replied.

"Kris, I'm really very sorry. Please forgive me. I know I've hurted you and I'm a fool, a totally idiot girl. Please Kris, please forgive me. I'm so sorry. Please give me one last chance, you're right I'm a silly girl", she said holding her ears.

No, don't fall for her trick, not so easily!!

"Too late. I can't forget it so soon shanaya. I need time", I replied averting my gaze away from her.

She pouted and said, "Fine, till the time being. I'll keep your ring with me, as your memory".

Gosh, her pout is so cute.. my heart said.

You're impossible, I replied.

"No, you won't. You're giving me my ring right now", I said taking steps closer to her..

"Oh, try me", she said sticking out her tongue and then ran towards her car and sat on the driver's seat.

Such a kid!!

Groaning, I too followed her and stood in front of her car folding my arms.

"What are you doing?", She asked.

"I'm not leaving without my ring!!", I replied.

I can't broke my relationship with her and my ring is the only proof with me which reminds me that I belongs to her, but sadly she doesn't feel the same!!

"If you want, we can have a cup of coffee with each other", she said showing her head outside her car.

"I'm not interested", I replied with a frown but inside I was mentally dancing.

Really!! Are you same guy who said he's upset and disheartened? My heart said

You stay away. All this damage is all because of you, I snapped at it.

"Please. A last coffee with me, a breakup coffee", she said.

"What is breakup coffee, shan?", I asked annoyingly.

Silly silly girl!!

She came out of the car and holding me by my arms tried to pull me towards the car. Key word 'tried'.

I didn't move so she moved towards my back and started pushing my back with all her force. A smile crept over my face at her futile attempts, so I myself pushed me as this small tweety can not do this by her own.

"Why not? When we can have breakup party then why not breakup coffee?", She said and opened her car's door. I didn't move an inch.

"You're really very stubborn kris. Okay, I'll give you your ring back, now please have a coffee with me", she said with a puppy face.

How much I wish to kiss her?

Are you really hurt? Hello,. My heart checked.

Yes, but I love her.. I can't be mad at her for long...

"Fine, this is the last time I'm listening to you", I told her and take a seat.

She grinned and took a seat next to me and started driving somewhere god only knows where? We were almost outside the city but she didn't stopped driving.

"Would you tell me where are you taking me?", I asked trying to show my anger self.

"To my favourite coffee shop", she said and then she stopped the car outside a small coffee shop. It was a small cafe and was looking very old.

Who came to such a small coffee shop? Businessman inside me commented.

"Let's go", she said and holding my hand she entered the café.

Shanaya's P.O.V.

After so much affort, I finally was able to persuade kris to come with me for a breakup coffee!!

Like seriously, this is not a word even, don't know what I was even thinking when I said this?

Actually, I was not thinking at all at first place. When kris left me, my mind stopped working and my intelligent heart for the first time show me the path.

I just took my purse and car keys and ran outside my room, without thinking and ran past Zac ignoring his comment. Only one thing was inside my head, and that was to stop Kris from leaving at any cost.

I tried to stop him but when he being way too stubborn didn't agreed so I pulled out his ring, as it was only option left with me to keep him by my side for sometime.

I've done so much things without thinking, so much stupidity and now this is the last golden chance with me to stop kris from walking away. I can't let him go. He belongs to me!!

I can't lose him, never ever. I hold his hands tightly, fearing if I'll leave it, he'll go forever. I brought him to my favourite coffee shop.

He stare at the coffee shop as if calculating the amount in which it was made. Such a business minded person. Can't he value the peace rather than cost?

"They make the best coffee, don't judge a book by it's cover. Trust me", I spoke examining his expression but then guilt consumed me.

Trust you?? Why? So, you can break it again,huh? My heart snapped.

"Just order your cofee, I don't have so much time", he replied giving odd glares to the surrounding.

"You take a seat, I'll come in a minute", I replied and he nodded.

I went to the counter and ordered two cappuccino for me and kris and after paying my bill, I waited for my order to arrive. I, in mean time meet Mrs. Teris. She knew me as I'm her regular customer.

"Hello Teris, how's you?", I asked her with a smile.

"Hey dear. Long time, huh!! And whose this handsome boy with you?", She asked addressing towards kris, who by now has taken a seat near window frame.

"He's my fiance", I felt proud to say that.

WOW!! It feels so good!!

"Really, I'm so happy for you honey. You finally have found someone", she hugged me.

"Do you love him?", She asked.

My heart skip a beat at her question and I glanced at Kris once who was looking outside the window and then looking at Mrs. Teris with a smile I said, "Yes, I love him".

My heart flutter with ecasty as soon as these words left my mouth. Gosh, it feels so good to announce that I love him, I love Kris. Man, where the hell was I before?

She hugged me again and then looked at my hand,"Where's you ring shan?", She asked worried.

"Umm, actually. I lost it", I lied. I can't tell her truth.

"Oh, don't worry. Do get a new ring soon", she said and I nodded.

I will!!

Kristein's P.O.V.

I was sitting ideally observing that café, which first of all is very small and the furniture here also looked very old but something was different here in this café.

It was the peace and calmness in it's air. It was pretty empty yet very soothing to eyes. I glanced outside the window, and the view of the empty road with roadside trees flowing along the direction of wind was pretty beautiful.

It's not that everyday you came to such a peaceful place to have coffee. Mostly, coffee houses back in New york is too crowded with buzz of people and cars trafficking the roads. I by now have started liking this place..

Not everything that shines is gold!!

Country song was playing softly in the café. I almost forgot that I was angry at shanaya, my heart and mind came at rest. I guess that's why shanaya liked this place. It gives you the most important thing which is peace.

Peace of mind and peace of heart, which money can't buy!!

"Seems you've started liking this place!!", Shan commented whilst placing my coffee and grabbing seat opposite mine.

"Yes, it's so calm here", I replied still looking outside.

"I know right. That's why it's one of my favourite place", she said with a smile looking outside.

I quietly sipped my coffee, waiting for her to say something. For her to stop me and ask me to give her a chance. Hell, who is going to cancel the marriage? But I don't want her to do it under pressure. If she'll still not interested in me, then this will be my last cup of coffee with her.

"Kris", shan spoke breaking the silence.

"Hmm", I hummed.

She sighed before speaking,"I'm sorry. I'm really very sorry for whatever I've done. I know I've no right to rule your life, but I was scared that may be someday you'll leave me. I was afraid to trust your love... I'm very guilty for that. You loved me and in return what I did, I hurted you", her voice was so low that I wanted to hug her..

"Please forgive me", she spoke again looking into my eyes.

Oh, he has already done that, don't worry!! My heart said.

Get lost..

"It's okay shan. I understand, I'm not the type of boy whom you can trust. How much I do to prove my love, it's all in vain. My bad, you don't have to be sorry", I told her.

But can't you give me a chance? I badly wanted to ask her.

But can I? No.. I can't.

"Can I get a chance again? Please, will you marry me?", She asked with pleading voice.

"Shanaya, I need time. You've broken my trust and I don't know what I want right now", I replied passing through my hairs.

I actually am confused,not about me, about her!

"Please, give me one last chance", she said.

"Why do you want to marry me now? You're confused earlier, ain't you?", I asked.

"I know, I was but.. ", she paused.

"But now you're guilty for whatever you've done and you wanted to marry me out of pity", I replied coldly.

Yes, she doesn't love me then what else can be the reason of marrying me!!

"Do you think this about me?", She asked shaking her head.

"It's seems like this to me", I replied and ended my coffee in one go.

"Fine, then. Think whatever you want to", she spoke angrily and move out of the café leaving me alone.

I got up and followed her. She was walking towards the other side of road and then entered the pathway surrounded by trees and I walked behind her. She stopped at the end of the way and it was a pretty empty area with a small river running at a distance.

She kept looking at the river for sometime and I kept looking at her. It was scaring me, what's she upto.

But I can't understand why are you following her? My mind asked.

"Why are you here?", She asked the same question which was in my mind.

I don't know!!

"I need my ring", yeah here goes my good reply.

She looked at me and then pulled out my ring from her jeans pocket. She took my hand and pushed it inside my ring finger and hold me both hands.

"You may leave now!", She spoke leaving my hands and turned her back towards me.

No, I don't want to!!

"Umm, I don't know the way actually and I don't have any car", I replied.

She spun and then came near me and asked with teary eyes and placed her car keys on my palm ,"Will you leave me?", She asked holding my collars.

What am I supposed to say? She was the one wanted me to go away from her life and now she wanted me to stay. She herself is so confused about her feelings, then how can I be confirmed?

Although I was sure that I wanted to live with her for my entire life but what about her? I can't take pain again and again. I can't set high hopes now, I won't be able to handle any more suffering and I don't want her to stay with me out of pity.

"What do you want?", I asked looking down.

"This", she spoke and then she placed my hands at her waist and holding me by my neck she pulled me towards her and placed her lips over mine, catching me totally off guards.

She kissed me!!
